But that is not what you think concerning the Revelation given to John about the (7) churches, especially Laodicea. Are you going to tell us that you believe that their call to repent did not include some form of judgment if they refused?
and what about (Lk 1:3-5)...
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent , ye shall all likewise perish . 4 Or those eighteen , upon whom the tower in Siloam fell , and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent , ye shall all likewise perish .
Even in your above statement when you say that calling one to repent is not a judgment, do you fail to see the purpose of repentance and what is to be avoided if one does repent? If you tell others to repent and do not know the consequences of those that refuse, why do you call them to repent in the first place? You call people to repent because you know that they will be judged for not heeding repentance.
My question to you is this... What are you calling people to repent of and if they refuse what is the consequence? If you believe that you are right about this repentance concerning the corruption of the church, because you have it from the Spirit, what will be the consequence for the church is she does not repent? You have referred to God being ready to spue out of His mouth the church of Laodicea, can you tell us what the meaning of that statement that came from the mouth of God and the counsel that was given to them in (Rev 3:18)...
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich ; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed , and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear ; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see .
Surely, as a prophet, who has been given the ability to interpret divine inspiration as well as to hear from God, you can give us the meaning of these things as one who has been raised up of God to call the church to repentance.
