Actually I agree with this totally. My husband is 12 years older than me and has substantially more physical issues than me thought currently hes a very fit and healthy gorgeous man. But I fear because of our age gap and the timing in which we will have children he may not around when our grandchildren are grown up.. I know he'll be wth the Lord one day and that gives me great comfort to not worry where hes going to go after leaving me, but still.. Im quietly selfish and want him with me for as long as Jesus will spare him.
I would pray for longer life than God will give your husband. Not exactly the same but Hezekiah was in the last stage of his life and prayed God would grant him more life. God granted Hezekiah's wish and Hezekiah lived 15 years more.
Or, maybe a better prayer is to God for you and your husband to grow old in years together
I am 30 and never married, but thanks to past relationships i am so worried about being cheated on. I have never cheated on someone and hopefully will never be tempted to do such a thing.
This has created major trust issues for me. I am trying to change it though
Hmmmm, elizzy, I really don't know exactly what to say to this , except what I say so often. The Lord leads our lives. What we want to do and what He wants us to do are often in conflict. But, that is where TRUST comes in. IF we can TRUST His way then that will go a long way to establish TRUST for us in our earthly doings, including relationships.
One last thing: Don't ever forget that God , in His great grace and trust, gave you a boy to raise. That is awesome beyond words. TRUST Him for all other áreas of your life
Infidelity does not scare me. Sharing the toothpaste, the toilet, and feelings. Unless she uses neither toothpaste not toilet and has no feelings.
Why doesn't infidelity scare you, liams?
Are you saying that you are confident your spouse won't cheat on you?
Or, you will forgive her if she does?
You will not cheat on her and she won't cheat on you because of ?
