(This is me adding To Utah's comment directed at Dude. Not to be confused with me thinking Utah is like that. Dude is like that, therefore, Dude has been ignored for quite some time.)

It taught me quite a few ways to say the word "dead," so yes. That one is funny. Mostly I just don't get their humor. lol

If you hadn't nailed him to the perch, 'e'd be pushin' up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! He's bloody snuffed it!..... THIS IS AN EX-THREAD!!! Yeah, I guess it's too much to ask people to apologize to YIG for confusing him with Thomas, and too much to ask to let someone express what they think if the thoughts aren't conforming.

Seriously though, it boggles my mind how anyone could take YIG in a bad light. He was honest and forthright. He added so much to the threads and in so short a time. I mean, humorous sarcasm runs like a river thru-out the forums, doesn't it? And YIG is a master of tongue-in-cheek humor. His posts made me laugh so much! I don't understand why he in particular was discriminated against because of his satirical comments. I honestly don't. :(

Yes.... I sort of look at him as the "Don Rickles" of CC.... Some humorous stuff that stepped on some toes, but he also steps on his own toes from time to time.

Of course that is the reason your assembly is in decline.... the world will know us because of how we love one another. If you are not doing that, the world will not recognize you as anything they want to be like.

Why would being a pastor make any difference? You should confront them yourself... along with two or three other witnesses to the event.... try to lovingly correct the brother/sister who is in error. If we cannot "police" our own fellowship, why do we expect the world to want anything we have?

Settings tab up top.. In list on left, click "edit ignore list" and add their name. Click "save changes" and you're done. OR, you can just click on the username of the person you want to iggy, and do it that way.

Well, it is British humour. Very different to American humour. I wouldn't worry about it. Seems the vast majority of Americans don't get Monty Python.
