I like the sound of bible pages being turned, my husband's voice, a lawnmower (because I know the smell of fresh cut grass will follow), a storm rolling in, and many voices gathered together in song to praise God.

my dogs footfalls on the leaf strewn wooded paths in the autumn but my companion has moved on. :( :) The leaves are falling and I have a new companion whose footfalls are filled with a youthful enthusiasm and their sounds I will eventually enjoy once we come to an agreement on a mutually acceptable pace.

The sound of music playing when I'm underneath the water. Specifically, End of the World by Skeeter Davis. There's something so calming about the muffled echo, like everything is so far away. I can just drift into my own little daydream.
