Yeah, I think snows okay just as long as it doesn't turn into a big freeze which is what we had in 2010 it was a horrible feeling, no electricity for a month in a blizzard LOL some people went without it for 3 months.

lol yeah heheh. If I can I buy my Jack some cute little doggy clothes. He'll wear them for a couple hours then rip them off. He had this one faux leather jacket (which wasn't real leather) but it looked cute on him, he looked like a lil biker dude. He ripped that off too. He also had a hat. My sisters dog wears dog dresses and she loves them, she'll come up to me with her clothes so I can put them on her. But I do have little dogs so... lol XD

We should always be ready/prepared for any battle that can come up in front of us everyday, and put on God's full armour. It isn't always as easy everytime we face those wars coming against us from the devil, yet, it is a matter of choice too from our side; Whether we will keep ourselves in a weak position, or whether we are to stand up, put our head high up and walking firm ahead in a stronger position in God. :)

- Well, in Norway I was used to having snow for around 5-6 months. So here in The Netherlands the longest I have experienced snow is like almost in 2 months and then it is all gone again. Last winter we had snow here for only around 1 month, I thought it rather more deppressing then. I do have realized the 7 last months when I lived at my parents place before marrying, how much I truly love the winter too as well as having snow for quite a loong time. Also, it looks very beautiful outside with white snow. :)


- Very funny about your dog looking like a little biker dude with the leather looking jacket, I had to laugh a bit when you told that. As well as it is very sweet how that other dog loves wearing dresses, I'd kinda beleive most dogs dislikes wearing any clothes. Lol! Our dog would definitively rip or try to destroy anything she gets on herself. Last Christmas we put a sweet red ribbon on her, it didn't lasted long before that was scratched off from her. Lol! Dogs are clever! ;) And also so very cute. :) Stjerna had got a big wound close to her ear once because of a tick sitting in her for quite some time, and she was trying to scratching it off with her paw. At the doctor we got help removing it, and the tick had already became very big. Once off, we did put on that lamp thingie for dogs on her or else her wound wouldn't heal 'cause of still scratching. Stjerna can act so "over-dramatical" sometimes when she is sceptical about something, and especially with something that is very new. Lol! Once we managed putting it on with help from the doctor's assistents, and we went outside to going back home; Stjerna just sat there refusing to walk. Lol! I bet she felt all ridicolous wearing that lamp thing, and at first we had to carry her for a short while, untill we thought it was too tiresome to carry her whole the way home, and we had to just drag her with us on the riem. ;) After some time she started getting easier and walking along. And at home again; She was mostly just sitting there all depressed again, and not moving nor reacting much to us. :p Haha! Poor thing! But it was necessary having that lamp thing on her then, or else that wound would never heal.

A real friend - By Lowanla (me)

To help a friend,
one must cut a piece
of their own life from out of their
body and time,
and give it to them,
without asking anything
in return,

To rehabilitate a friend
one must give them
half their life literally
and then lose that precious
time and that half of life
that was meant for them

To save a life of a friend,
one must lay down their life
All time and energy
and dream would be over.

in order to create for
their friend
..a new dream

For it takes a life to save a life
or in some cases lives.

Such is true love.

(Yeah I know this didn't rhyme but it popped in my head as I was driving in town so I thought I'd jot it down here today) :)

Yeah Snow is pretty, I just wish it wasn't so cold...Well maybe in Heaven I will get my wish and play in snow thats not so cold XD lol

yeah our dogs have different personalities especially when it comes to likes and dislikes. Aww your poor doggy. I really hate ticks, they are so gross. *shutters* makes me want to check behind my ears. lol

Yeah I call those lamp things Megaphones for dogs. XD lol

An interesting poem. I beleive you got inspired by that verse about laying down your own life for friends, or so? ;) Still, there is so many ways how to define a "true friend". :) Nice thoughts, though, that came in popping into your mind. :)

Thanks, well its just my view on how I believe a real friendship should be or can be.
and your right there are many ways in defining a true friend. Yeah I define it as what I would do for a friend, I am the type with the walls up so if they manage break those walls they will find a very loyal friend. Or as much as I can be (to be honest). I am also sensitive so I am fairly reserved I'm working on that to try to be open as Christ was to people.

it could also be thought of like the way a soldier would give their life for their friends and family and their freedom, or the way Christ gave his life for the church. To me that is true love.

lol thoughts like that come popping in at wierd times of the day. My thoughts debate with my thoughts lol XD

Electric Candlelight part 2 my dream - by Lowanla (me)

I woke up standing there in the kitchen it was dark, murky and there was little light.
You stood there watching me wanting to show me everything.
Everything was cramped I could barely see anything, but a little tv that sat upon the table.
there were few lights in the house so dark and dreary.
You in turn guided me through your antique dark house that you had some pride in.
You tried to draw me away through the back door of your house
to show me the better looking side of the house, the outter part
it was lush and green with a green house the air was filled with fog.
I was beautiful and looked so wonderful out there,
As you stood out side you waved me to follow, but I did not.
I ran back in and explored the dark house some more,
ran down the cellar so dark, the darkest part of you perhaps?
You followed as if you didn't know what to do..
I looked around then ran past you up the spiral stairs,
yes up the stairs to the second floor, although the top
part was falling apart the other stairs that led downward
were gone there was no way down, and there was some light there.
But Everything in your house was worn, and decayed.
You were so sad as you followed me maybe
all this you didn't want me to see.
I turned to look as you leaned over the edge in all
utter dispair.
I grabbed your hand tightly I pulled you to close me, I thought
its okay everything will be okay...
Then suddenly this lamp in the shape of
three candles that hung on the wall lit up
a light in you

to be in love is like
like a magnet that forces metal
together, thus I am drawn
its not just a feeling
is insanity that kills normalcy
at the same time it makes sense
while everything looks insane
its hanging on
even when reality tells
you to let go and move on
its the key ingredient
a wonderous creation God gave
in many forms and compliations

its like a fire
consuming all around it
it will never leave without taking
