With out tools in our hands, we work together on this land
Thanking God for blessing us with fertile soil
In His word we abide as we labor side
Singing praises to the father as we toil

Every one of us is skilled, we use our talents as we build
Each gift we have is useful in some way
Each one a vital role, expand the Kingdom soul by soul
Praise the Lord and give Him Glory for this day

Sowing seeds in this land, it's a labor of our hands

I love poetry because it comes from the heart. It tells a story of person life or how that person is feeling at the time.

The hunger for love keeps returning
like a wicked wolf to a white sheep
and neither are going be happy
until they both succumb to slumber
together in the long awaited sleep

longing to sleep no longer to awaken
morbid sounding yet desiring consumation
should this type of love be sought as sin so darkly
when my dreams seem more wonderful then my reality?

the white sheep bit the wicked wolf he howled
an unexpected act and with tears he cried..
the sheep felt love and pity for his heart
submittingly she lay her head beneath his maw

I am not very fond of love lyrics/poems (they're incredibly hackneyed). But there are a few that I enjoy.

Alright just listened to this song, I like it, those types of songs always make me feel guilty though because the initial feeling it gives me is a feeling that I might do something wrong, so I will spend the entire time tormented that I will do something wrong in any relationship hehe Xd Then again I'm just as human as anyone else and can and will probably fail cause I'm not God, but God can never fail, his love is unconditional - something I learned today. I've never heard this song before so thankyou for sharing, makes me want to bob my head. Please feel free to share more and analyze what you think about them.

I'll make another attempt at finding something with a love/romance motif, but like I said, it's not a thematic I'm largely involved with.

thats awesome, I think I remember Tom Sawyer that one song. Yeah I'm a sucker for lyrics what can I say. I have to turn everything into an analysis. Xd (which isn't that great of an analysis but its still something fun to do lol)
