Even though I didn't make the request I vote for

pho soup, I think I spelled pho right

Sounds interesting......Anything with a question mark at the end has to be interesting......
Is this like soup pretending to be soup....pho?
Not sure why it is called pho soup, maby because of the way it is made? :)

I use a good organic beef, chicken or vegie broth or some broth Ive made myself and stored.
Bring broth to a boil
In a lg bowl, make rice noodles softened and cooked by simply pouring boiling water into bowl untill noddles soften , then drain.
Cut up vegies, bokchoy, green onions, carrots, bean sprouts, snow peas and put in the bowl with noodles.
Then into boiling broth, throw some shrimp, let boil for a few seconds then pour into bowl of rice and vegies.

I like to add a little sesame oil and hot soy, with a twist of lemon and mint leaves last.
You can use meats as well, but do need to precook them.

Anyway, its a good soup, and really nice if you have a cold, to eat. :)

God bless

hamburger tomato, please! :)
(and thank you!!)
Ok, Ill do my best to write down recepe, sorry it took so long to get back to you, hands were just ornry this last week. :)
In a soup pot, brown about two lbs of ground beef untill done.
Then add about two cans or one lg liquid box of organic beef broth, I like the organic as no additives.
Then four cans of diced tomatoes with juice.
One half, chopped cabbage, more if you want.
One chopped onion.
One bunch of chopped spinich or any other green leafy vegie you have, we also like bok choy alot.
One bunch of chopped celery.
Several chopped carrots.
One bay leaf, celery salt to taste, salt, pepper,( thyme, just a pinch), one Tablespoon of minced garlic.
Four table spoons of lemon juice.
Then let simmer till all is cooked to taste. :)
We sometimes like the vegies still a bit crunchy, other times well done, eather way it is good.:)
Dont be afraid to add any seasonings you like or more to taste, as we all differ in what we like.
We sometimes add orzo noodles as they are small and dont get all mushy like the big noodles do.

Hope I remebered everything, :) I ussually just cook by taste and what I have, so recipe can change a bit. :)

God bless

Now this certainly sounds acceptable! I'm grooving with your vibe on the lemon juice. My thoughts are to add a splash of lime as well to make this a citrusy type of connotation. Perhaps some rind off an orange as well but that would be a bold move for sure. Zesty.

Just what sort of odd things are we speaking of?

I just seem to put food items in my salad....I don't put family members in like you mentioned nuts.....
