I cannot remember even one. The babylonian captivity for example, how was that corrective? Let alone destruction of Jerusalem in 70A.D. where most did not even survive.
Noah's flood, no correction.
As I have stated before: God is God. He does what He wants to do. Living in Europe I hear God always made out to be a monster for taking out the animals with the humans during the flood, but that is how He operates. God does not care about animals too much. Fact. Clear from both old and new testaments (I am referring to Jesus sending the devils to the pigs and the pigs drowned)
So hell certainly does match the character of God throughout the O.T and N.T. I doubt anyone would even contest O.T who has read it. But even in the N.T we got verses like Revelation 2:22-23, not much correction.
