The best clairification is when the Father lets us know His will, it is not a suggestion.

I was aware the series of words may bring a question, so tht is the response. We do pray always "Thy will be done." After reading many of the people posting in this thread I wonder if theyi know what that means.

Hi JaumeJ

How are your eyes doing?
Would you mind clarifying for me what you mean by "commandant's, laws, statutes etc"

Jaume

We are no longer flesh. We don't have the old way of keeping laws. The new way is a way of life in the Spirit. Our Spirit has become one with Gods. Filled with the Spirit of Christ, and then baptized spiritually for service. It's this that we are under Jaume, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The new and Living way of being one with the Lord as a very much alive member of Jesus on earth.

When He speaks, we move. And by our new nature, we live. Should be victoriously. :)

Dont like that word follow. It has an OT twist to truth.

jaumej, just filled with malignant things to say of others, to assert they're lost, in apostasy, and it is not too far from him to imply others a fool. When he is hit with correction, derogation on the person is forthcoming.

The letter kills: Hebrew Roots is heresy, cultic and has a false gospel message. It has the effect of Luke 18:9-12 on its subjects. Couple all that with the typical judaizer mentality.
All I keep hearing from people in the Hebrew Roots movement is what "they" DO for Jesus (obedience/works) and the rest of us had better jump through the same hoops that they are jumping through or else we won't be saved, but I rarely here them talk about what Jesus DID for them and I'm yet to hear them say that "Christ saves us through faith based on the merits of His finished work of redemption alone" and not based on the merits of our performance.

How does one make a testimony of himself in your superior esteem? I really would like to know your methodology, since you are not here to discuss anything more than little old "Me" "I."
I have no superior esteem. It's all about CHRIST and not about me.

Galatians 6:14 - But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

So the implication is, "perfectly obey His will or else?" Whoever is without sin cast the first stone.

Here is an example of a statute and law. You shall not move your neighbor's landmark.

Anyone knows it is not love or good will to move a person's landmark, especially if it is to willfully gain property by stealth.

We do not need to be told this, because the truth is on our hearts, but it is nice to review the written just to know which are still in effect.

By reading and learning fro Jesus Christ we know how to dealwith and use the law for ourselves....not by listening to a lot of idle chatter from would be prophets and priests who are so far from our Lord thy cannot see Him.

Come back to me when you have moved to grace under the law and not grace only,. You can only learn this from Jesus christ by the Holy Spirit.

There is a difference between God's will for us to BECOME saved:

John 6:40 - For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.

AND God's will for us AFTER we have been saved:

1 Thessalonians 5:14 - Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

The only Gospel is that of Jesus Christ. Then we hear it also according to Matthew, Mark, John, and lUKE.

I believe God's will is God's will, not just limited to your personal and decided definition.

The law on our heart and mind is the love of the Spirit, not the law of the letter. This is why Paul tells us that the new covenant is a covenant of the Spirit, and not of the letter.

Law (Old Covenant) and Grace (New Covenant) don't mix.

"No one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins." (Luke 5:37-38).

It must be such a burden to be so spiritually superior!! That's the attitude that grips when we put ourselves under law... It's the 'I' Achieve mentality.

I would say even non believers know that, so then it's already on their hearts.
So one doesn't have to be a believer in order to know right from wrong.

The difference should be is that believers don't do such things.
Mind you having said that non believers may not do such things either.

If that's the case what's the difference between the believer and non believer as both are doing the right thing required by God.

Is there a list of the statutes that you could post a link to add I would be interested to read them.

There is a difference between the 4 gospels, the entire writings of (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) and the specific Gospel of grace message "good news" that Paul preached.

Ephesians 3:1 - For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— 2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, 3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), 5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, 7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. 8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; 10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

*Also see (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:16).

Grace under the law. The power to live by the law? I don't know of any scripture that says this.

Believe Jesus christ and you are in His grace. Believing Him means learning of Him and doing as He did and as He is an example....

He teaches in His discourses exactly how we shoud obey. Not many hear Him. This is grace under the law, or law under grace....

This thought just came to me.

If we would attempt even to live by law, then the serpent would have reason to accuse us before Father. In Jesus Christ, we are hidden. We are safe. We are saved.

Grace under the law is not grace. Romans 10:4 - For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who BELIEVES.
