If there is no such thing as a perfect Bible like you claim Agricola, then how do we know that John 3:16 is not in error?
Let me ask you something else, would the true word of God have errors in it?
The message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is important. It is very important.
But so are the very words of the living God. God's words are pure words. And Jesus said that man shall not leave by bread alone, but by every word of God. Therefore we must have every word. (Luke 4:4)
The NIV is a perversion. How do I know that? Because the NIV perverts the words of the living God. The NIV perverts the deity of Jesus Christ is 1 Timothy 3:16, in Daniel 3:25, and in many other places. The NIV perverts Mark 1:2, 3 into a lie!
The NIV reads in Mark 1:2-3:
2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet:
“I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way”[c]—
3 “a voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”[d] Mark 1:2-3 (NIV)
They lied, it is not found written in Isaiah. It is written in Malachi 3:1.
The Correct reading of Mark 1:2-3 is:
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. - Mark 1:2-3 (King James Bible)
What your problem Agricola seems to be is that you do not have a high regard for the pure words of the living God.
We King James Bible believers simply share the truth on the Bible Version Issue.
Listen Agricola, if you want to use the NIV, then go ahead. If you want to use an ESV, then that is your decision. You any modern bible version that you want.
All we King James Bible believers want is to help to build the brethren's faith in the word of God. That they can believe that the King James Bible is God's perfect and inerrant word of God. And that they don't need any Hebrew or Greek. But if they want to study those languages. Then they sure can, as again, it is their choice.
It is interesting that you mentioned Muslims, are you aware Agricola, that there are Muslims out there who are blaspheming the word of God because of all of the new bible versions?
There is a video of a Christian doing some preaching on the streets, and as a group of Muslims are coming up to him, one of the Muslims asks the guy who is preaching a question pertaining to Jesus Christ's deity, and then that Muslim says to the preacher that he will give to him a hundred dollars if he can find the answer in any Bible. Now I am going to share with you what a couple of these Muslim men said about the Bible while talking with this preacher on the streets. Also I am going to include a question that one of the Muslims asked this street preacher:
"in any bible, there is 80 of them.."
"There's 80 bibles but there is only one Quran..."
"Why is there more than One Bible?"
See? All the ridiculous modern perversions like the NIV, ESV, TNIV, NASV, Green bible, Amplified bible, Message bible, rob lacey's the word on the street, Common English bible, contemporary English version, Holman's Christian Standard bible, Good News bible, Good News bible (Catholic edition), New Century Version, Daniel Wallace's NET bible, New Living Translation and many, many others which are now causing the lost world to mock the Bible. They are causing the lost (i.e. Muslims) to mock the word of God.
Now the third quote was a question, and the young Muslim who asked that question might just be looking for an answer.
I mean that is an honest question for any lost person to ask a Christian.
Why are there so many bibles on the market?
If some lost person came up to you Agricola, and asked you that question, would you know how to answer them?
But you see, now when you are witnessing to a lost hell bound Muslim, and your telling him what the Bible says pertaining to what he must do to be saved, now that Muslim most likely will ask you:
"oh which one?"
Since all of the 80 versions cannot all be God's word. And there is actually way more than 80 versions out there, there is at least 220+ modern perversions out there
God does not contradict Himself. Therefore all the modern versions cannot be His word.
Now if you are a King James Bible believer than you can answer his question right away. In that you can discuss with him the Bible Version Issue and share with him that the King James Bible is God's perfect and inerrant word. And that the new versions are just counterfeits.
I'll just go ahead and share the video as proof that this is truly the case. That way, the people who are viewing this thread won't think that I am making this up. Because this really did happen.
That the more than 220+ modern bible perversions are causing the lost world to now blaspheme the word of God.
Blaspheming God's word!

And for those who choose to not to view the video, well I already shared in red what these lost Muslims said in regard to the Bible.
Why do you still repeat this crap? , see folks, this is what cult members do, endlessly repeat without paying attention to others.
Yes the worlds religions seem to think there should be a unique perfect text that is copied from, this is what the King James Only Cult want for Christianity, to be like other false religions. Problems with a single original source which everyone copies from, is that you have to trust that the source is really perfect and has not been tampered with.
Other religions see this text as perfect from thier god, so every single mark on the page is how it should be, and anyone messing with that is blasphemy. Is this the way the real God wants us to live? no, also why wait all this time before we have "The Perfect Bible" again that dose not make any logical sense.
As I have pointed out a number of times, and is totally ignored, Christianity is different, our Bible is not governed by those same laws and restrictions that other religions put on their texts, our God is about relationship not bound by religious constraints.
The basic message is shared amongst believers, the writings and letters as which make up the new testament were copied and distributed around the world, it did not matter if every bit of punctuation is correct, every capital letter is correct, no, that is religious law and binds people, the real message went out, Jesus is son of God who died, rose again and ascended to heaven,
Christianity is different, in that it is the message that is important, not the accuracy of copy. All the so called errors your cult point to, most are just fantasy rantings and the rest are just pedantic petty arguments over technical usage of words.
The continuation to state that people are putting thier spiritual lives at risk from using a NIV after they have been preached to about the King James bible, is cult behaviour and is very wicked, evil and dangerous.
God wants us to spread the message about his salvation plan, just about everyone I know came to a personal relationship with Jesus through being told about him, spread by word of mouth, testimony and so on. I do not know of anyone who came to know God simply by reading a Bible.
IF people do come to accept Christ through reading Bible, the so called flaws in other versions are not going to have an impact on peoples salvation, its ridiculous to claim otherwise.
