Here on CC as well as in the body outside of CC I have seen many people try to use scripture to disprove scripture,
I.E. 1 John says this about keeping the commandments,
well, Paul says in Romans about the law being done away with,
Now there are those who just flat out twist scripture to fit there choice of belief. I have had some tell me flat out that they choose to believe what there denomination teaches. I asked "even though the Bible says different?
And they say yes.
We will not get away with that.
Now there are those who are truly seeking to follow YAH in all His ways, but see scripture saying one thing on a subject and then saying something else on the same subject. At least that is how it's looking to them.
The Holy Scriptures are the infallable written Word of YAH. There is no error in it as far as what it all means. I understand that there are some words in the greek and hebrew that don't properly transfer to the english.
My point in all this, if we are getting two different signals, then it is us who is missing something.
This is why scripture says to study to show yourself approved unto YAH.
Also alot of the times, the confusion is cleared up when studying the verses all around the verse that may be confusing.
But as the body, we should NEVER try to use scripture against scripture, remember you're messing with YAH's word. And His word is perfect, Holy and Righteous, we are not.
James 1:5-8
[SUP]5 [/SUP]If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. [SUP]6 [/SUP]But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. [SUP]7 [/SUP]For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; [SUP]8 [/SUP]he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Psalm 119:130
