Funny thing about Hollywood... Once someone loses their looks (because that's all that's valued in their world), what else do they have left? (Yeah, I know there's money and all that, but that, too, passes, of course.)
In an atmosphere where looks are all that matters, the twisted thing is that it's better to die young and be remembered as good-looking (Marilyn Monroe, James Dean) than to grow old and lose your looks and image (Marlon Brando, as illustrated here, Elizabeth Taylor, Peter O'Toole, etc.)
Though we Christians are as susceptible as anyone else to the trappings of our (very mortal) outer shell, it IS comforting to know that one day, who we are, rather than what we look like, is all that's really going to matter.
