Take a look at it from this standpoint, In order for God to save the world He had to come down and live among us, this is where the trinity comes in to play, the Father sent His Son, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and dwelled among us as God in the flesh. So naturally God had to come down and die so He needed a body, this my friend was done in none other than Jesus the Christ Himself through the work of the Holy Spirit. Who is like our God? No one, Jesus is God.
