It's nice to be here & speak to speak with u guys. By the way i am Muslim. With all the hatred in the world we tend to move away from each other. I hope we share good experiences and also love each other as Jesus has told us both in Bible and Quran to love one another & worship God. I would love to chat with u mates. I also see here people talking about muslims worshiping moon god or the likes of that which isn't true. I hope to receive messages if u have any questions to clear any misconceptions and meantime know more about Christianity with u guys need to help me out with. There is just so many similarities in our religions.

Peace

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and is God Himself who took upon Himself human flesh, died upon the cross to pay for our sins, rose from the grave, and is now seated upon the throne of God.

He is King of kings and Lord of lords, and is coming again, and whoever puts their faith in Him as Lord and Savior is saved and has been given the gift of eternal life, and shall not come into the condemnation, but is passed from death to life.

This is a gift of God's grace, and cannot be earned or merited in any way.
The Bible says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, that we love God because He first loved us, and gave His Son as the atoning sacrifice to pay for our sins, and that Jesus Himself laid down His own life to save us

The Bible also says that whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ is a liar and an anti-christ, but whoever has the Son has both the Father and the Son.

Jesus said, 'My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me,
And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.
I and My Father are one.'

Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for being the True and Living God, our Savior, our Good Shepherd, and our Friend. Amen.

Peace in Christ

I want to start off by telling you that I am not your enemy, and that I want to see you come to Christ. But there are a few things about Christianity and Islam that you really need to know.

Muhammad claims to be a prophet of the God of Israel, that he is in line with all His prophets, and that if we compared his word to theirs, we would see its true. But the problem is, they do not line up. They stand in opposition to each other. I talk with Muslims online sometimes, and they always tell me "God never came in the flesh of a man, He could never do this and it never happened". Sadly, thats exactly what the prophets of Israel said would happen.

In Isaiah 43:10-13: we are told that Isaiah was His witness that He had chosen to know and believe and understand that "I Am He" (in Gods own words), and that before Him there was no God formed, and that there would be none after. That He was the Lord, and that we have NO savior besides our God.

Jeremiah 23 5-6 God tells us He will raise a branch from the line of David, that the branch would be a righteous king who would do justily. And Jeremiah then tells us, His name will be called The Lord our Righteous Savior.

Isaiah 9:6 Tells us that a child would be born, that the government would be upon His shoulders, and that He would be called "Wonderful Conselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace".

The title "Son of Man" comes from Daniel, who said in His visions he saw one who appeared as a "son of man" come down on the clouds from the presence of God, and that He was the king of a nation that lasted forever and eternity, and that the entire world worshipped Him.

Christ claimed that He came to die for our sins, that He would come back and judge the nations, and that He would come from clouds from Heaven with the angels, and that He would reign over the world in Israel.

Muhammad claimed that Jesus was just a prophet of a god no one had heard of before Muhammad. If you believe the prophets of Israel are from the one true God, then you really need to see what they had to say, without trying to make it fit with Muhammads words. Only then will you actually be able to see what they said, and understand why those of us who follow Christ and the prophets do not follow Muhammad.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

2 Coronthians 5:19
18Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

I don't know much about the Quran or about what being a Muslim means but I do think it would be fascinating to dialog with you and learn. I'm all for Christ but I love to learn and hear experiences.

It can be very interesting indeed...however, all Muslims get banned here pretty quickly due to a few trigger-happy whiny Christians, who run to a sympathetic moderator, at the drop of a hat...

Yeah, those people who come to a 'fellowship' site for fellowship with other Christians. Hard to believe they don't want to spend their time debating people who come to interrupt the fellowship instead of seeking a place away from that, and to spend with other believers. And those silly volunteers that do all that work for no money, in an effort to keep this place somewhat decent. The nerve of these kinds of people!
What we really need on this site is high-horsed ego's going around criticizing and insulting people and volunteers for expecting this site to be what it's advertised.

There are some thicker-skinned websites out there that allow unbridled discourse....but, that usually ends up in Muslims leaving on their own accord rather than being banned...

Then why don't you go there instead of whining about this one? If you think so poorly of this site then why keep coming?
But still, your response ignores the fact that this is a fellowship site, not a debate site. Guess you kind of have to ignore that to maintain this belief that you are better than the people that use and run this site.

For people like yourself...

I am amazed........I am new here and am just making my way around, and in doing so saw that you had a Arab/Muslim forum. It just so happened that right after seeing this I ran into a Muslim that was contemplating making Christ his Savior, however his family being Muslim he knew that he had a tough road ahead of him, so I being very naieve invited him here. I told him that from what I had seen he would be welcomed. He did not appear to have any ulterior motives and seemed quit sincere, but now it seems that he will be run off before ever getting the chance to "experience the Christian community?" I am ashamed.

Hello, I am a Christian living in America. My heritage is Arabic. My Grandfather grew up in Syria. I do not speak Arabic and have been raised a Christian my whole life. I am a Christian but I do not believe that you have to believe in Jesus to be saved. I believe that we have to believe in God. I do believe in Jesus, but I don't believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation. So I don't try to convert people of the Jewish faith, or other religions. There is a book called "One River, Many Wells" written by a excommunicated Catholic Priest, Matthew Fox. He says God is the river flowing underground, and the Wells all over the world are the way different religions all reach for God. We may come from different places and backgrounds but most people are searching for understanding of God in their lives. I wish you peace and God's blessings.

If you dont believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation then you dont believe in the biblical Jesus Christ. Jesus said Himself when asked the way, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me". It is clear in His own words, if you deny Him, you cannot be saved.

I am sorry, I did not see this post until now.

I struggle with temptation, just like you. And I posted here to share the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ with others who are stuck in a deception that turns people away from Him.
