They are not contradictory. I see Jesus as Messiah but even more importantly as the second Adam. If the cross is removed and we concentrate on his Adamic nature then he is the way the truth and the life. The first fruits of creation. Its that I saw in the scriptures he was adopted by God at his baptism. "Today you are my son.". So I don't see the cross as important as his Adamic being. Sent to us. The children of Adam thus unifing all mankind and faiths under Adam.

When Jesus was baptised the voice saith, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."

Jesus was all ready Son of God, but for the sake that all righteousness might be fulfilled he was baptised.

Through Adam all men must needs to taste death at least once. Only through Jesus, men might live.

I'm not sure how I fit in. I have faith. I walk with Jesus. I walk with Muhammad as well. I've studied many religions and have seen Jesus as Adam in all of them. So I don't understand your comment Lynx?

Because Christians reject Allah and all Muslim beliefs, so teaching that there is, basically, no difference and you are both would not be permitted.

Tani you may be very sincere but you're sincerely wrong I fear. There is nothing more important then Jesus being the Messiah. He came to die,not unite world religions. The most important thing He did was die for our sins. Both the OT and the NT speak of this.If the cross is removed there is no need of a Savior, there was no need for Him to come to earth. He became the blood sacrifice. Muhammad didn't die for you,Adam didn't die for you,Buddha didn't die for you, only Jesus died so you could live. That is the most important thing Jesus did. He didn't unify all faiths. There is One Way,The Way only through Jesus. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of who Jesus was and His work here on earth.Jesus and Muhammad do not compliment each other,at all. They are worlds apart.Jesus said His kingdom was not of this world,Muhammad murdered countless thousands to establish his religion on earth. They are very, very different. One is divine and one is human. Please look into this a little further and seek the truth.

Tari,

Jesus has said no man (person) comes to the Father (God) except by Me.

What that means is that if you trust in anything other than Jesus for your relationship with God, it will not work.

there is only ONE God, and his name is Jesus Christ. Muhammed is a false god, and not real. He is an evil idol. Jesus is the only God you should be serving because it's impossible to be a christian AND a muslim at the same time..You need to choose one or the other..

I'm not sure how I fit in. I have faith. I walk with Jesus. I walk with Muhammad as well.

Exodus 20:3

You shall have no other gods before me. You cannot serve 2 masters.

John 10:30
I and the Father are one. I is being Jesus in this verse.

Galatians 1:8

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.

Matthew 24:11 - And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Come on guys, I know you mean well, but don't you think Scripture could sort this whole thing out quite easily? There's no reason to be hating, maybe she is sincere but hasn't heard the full truth before.

Troll.

Not even Islam would agree with their proclamation. Jesus is Isa in Islam. He is not the son of God. Therefore it is impossible to be a Christian and a Muslim.
Also, allah is not the same God as that of the Christians.

If that person made that proclamation in a Muslim Sharia ruled country she'd be dead.
She's a troll.

Islam and Christianity oppose each other in so many ways. Muhammad even denies that Jesus was the Son of God.

The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30, Yusif Ali)

John 8:23: And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I AM from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. If He was not of this world and from above, what else would He be?John 8:57-58: So the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am."
They never seen Abraham but believe, but when Jesus tells them exactly who He was while they saw Him, they were hesitant to believe Him. "Before Abraham was, I am." He was here before Abraham but still a mere human being/prophet? Or was He being sarcastic or deluded?

Sorry, I'm horrible for when copying and pasting and putting it on posts and it's not letting me fix it... My commentary is in italicized and underlined for the Bible verses*.

Ya, that is annoying. The only way I know to avoid it is to copy and paste into a word document or text file first, and then copy and paste from the file to the message box
