no one said you had to leave, but when one says "we should agree to disagree" then normally that means "I don't feel like listening anymore" so I don't see the point in conversing with someone who makes that statement.
at the start of the conversation, everyone present states their case and there is an underlying agreement that we will not all agree on all points, so why engage in a conversation at all if you do not actually discuss the points put forth?
