The man of sin CAN 'sit' in the Temple of God. It means he will rise up and be in the midst of the CHURCH (Temple).
There is no other temple of God so it must mean the Church, not any Jerusalem temple made of stone.
(although any rebuilding of a temple could play a part cuz its part of the deception)

So people really do buy into these fulfilled scriptures and accept animal sacrifices in a Kingdom with The Lords presence.. thats what turned me off originally to the whole premil idea. How sad and dishonoring that is to His
finished work.
It's impossible for any believer to worship a 'false messiah' if they heed to the warnings Jesus gave when he said 'take heed that no one deceives you'... it is impossible to worthip a false messiah as a believer when grounded in faith and looking for that blessed hope. It would be hard to miss. I mean Jesus coming in the clouds. Robe dipped in blood. having wiped out the worlds armies arrayed outside Jerusalem. I don't know of any false messiahs which could do that. Sad part is. they would think he was a false messiah, because they don't think he will do it. wonder what excuse they would use?
