As to "faith." I believe there are two types of faith. The natural/human faith we are born with, which all men have. And the supernatural faith we receive from the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence.

The natural/human faith is enough for us to hear the Gospel, call of the Holy Spirit, and believe in Christ, and seek Him. The supernatural faith we receive is the faith that is strong enough to sustain us in times of trials and tribulations. The natural/human faith will never be strong enough to do that for most people I believe. I have seen this many times in people in my life, when they put their natural/human faith in something or someone of this world, only to be utterly let down, and it causes them to lose faith, and even lose hope.

Just my thoughts about "faith."

Mga Gawa: 10. 34.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35. But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37. That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

. ... remember always
every nation and not only unto israel

How would you like me to show you just how GODLY that teaching and thought of you are, with a Verse in the Bible teaching exactly that.

Let me first share how God works as short as I can.
Every saved person was logged into the book of life before the earth was formed. Time does not exist with God and our human brains really has to put a lot of energy in this concept to just try to understand what would it be like if there is no time. It will be like Everything happening at the same split second FOREVER. So Right now God writes our names in the book, but also right now it is the end of the earth, but also right now Jesus dies, and was resurrected... WOW I am already dizzy!

But Jesus said to His disciples.. receive the Holy Spirit and he blew over them. Then some time later He walks with them and says: There are still many things I want to teach you but you cannot bear it yet....
and He also says to them... You shall receive power when the Spirit is come upon you...Even though He blew over them.

And we know when they were in the upper room on Pentecost, they were filled. This is Truth and also in order of events, and then we see this verse and everything comes together....Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
The disciples dropped everything and followed Jesus... this will not happen without FAITH! But they had NO FAITH when they stuck with Him and could not even stand a storm, or heal a boy, or believed it was Him resurrected. But AFTER they were filled with the Holy Spirit they were TRUE MIRACLE WORKERS FULL OF FAITH ... same as Stephen, And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

The faith that saves us, is in power nothing less than the works of FAITH, God bless us with. However the Faith may fall short in the first process but NEVER in the second! With the Spirit comes the unwavering faith Jesus had. Jesus said if you had faith of a mustard seed ... well the Spirit comes with the whole TREE!

We had to have faith to begin with.

A persons faith does not "fade" or "disappear" unless the thing they have faith in fails them.

When has god ever failed anyone to the point he no longer deserved their faith?

God doesn't fail, people fail Him. God gives us the ability to have faith, but that doesn't mean all will exercise it.

Could be! Or our beginning faith is built up by God as we grow as Christians in the Lord.

Maybe so. Since the building up would come from the Holy Spirit, and He is supernatural, kinda like an "infusion' of faith steroids? :)

Especially if we look on at Chapter 2.

1 Peter
2

1 .) Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 .) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 .) If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 .) To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 .) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 .) Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7 .) Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 .) And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9 .) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10 .) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Hi P,

How are you?
Has it been that long?
4 days!

I had a hard time trying to get back onto this website for whatever reason. I see you changed from the old elephant, to a different image that I didn't particularly care for (I can't remember what it was) and now this little baby elephant.

I like it!

How do you feel?
Where are you?

Hey Sister..........thanks, yeah, I did not like that other Avatar much either. It was kinda a "stirring the pot" Avatar. :) For another Forum and Thread. I like this one too,

I'm ok. The meds are controlling the pain for the most part, but it is still there, As yet, there is no treatment available to correct/repair the damage done, so the pain may be a lif companion, but, IF they can keep it at a manageable level, I will adjust and learn to live with the physical restrictions. I mean, honestly, I'm not the first person, or the only person to end up with limited physical restrictions from an accident or injury. I have come to terms with that, and am at peace with it. All things work for the glory of God, and I know He is the Victor over all.

I have all of my future Appointments scheduled with the VA. But won't post them here due to "privacy issues."

Thank you for your concern, and may God continue to bless you and yours.
