He answered "the woman You gave to be with me"
  • If this is a statement of blame, he isn't blaming her, but blaming God
    • If he's blaming God he is calling God evil, and he would be damned not saved
    • He is saved, not damned. ergo.
  • since this is not a statement of blame, it is an explanation of motive
    • God gave Woman to him
    • he is responsible for Woman
    • he acted on her behalf - "for her sake"
    • per God, he did this because he listened to what she said - and per scripture he wasn't deceived
      • so what did she say to him?
The Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”

The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Motive is seen in the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. This was just her excuse.
she confessed that she desired the fruit while deceived, which indicates she isn't deceived anymore and recognizes it as a wrong desire.
That's both confession and repentance.

similarly Adam confesses that he put his relationship with his wife ahead of his relationship with God, saying He gave her to be with him. he also confesses, he ate.

key in this is that God accepts their answers - evidenced by His not cursing them, covering them, and guarding the way to the tree of life for them. so to God these were acceptable answers, and we have to interpret them that way.

"I did nothing wrong, this is Your fault, God"
isn't an acceptable answer, is it? but that's what most of us think they said.

I think your read on this is upside down. The moment they sinned, they died spiritually. And they began to act like spiritually dead people. That is, they separated themselves from God...hid...and began living independently of God...clothed themselves.
This is always the inevitable outcome for the spiritually dead.
God has a choice now. He can destroy Adam and Eve or He can initiate a covenant of grace. He chooses, actually already chose, the latter.
While the couple is hiding, God goes to them. And while they are trying to cover their sin, God provides an acceptable covering.

Apart from God going after Adam and Eve, they would have been content to live in their fallen estate and separated from God.
There is no nobility in sin. Adam wasn't acting to protect his wife. He was standing right beside her when she ate. The noble thing would have been to stop her or intercede on her behalf; not join her.

Adam had access but chose the tree that promised death instead, and was subsequently barred from
the Tree of Life, lest he eat of it also (not again) and live forever in his fallen sinful state. Adam was a
man of the natural world. Do not neglect to include in this equation that Jesus was purposed from
before the foundation of the world, that those who would believe by grace through faith in His shed
righteous blood could be reconciled to God and attain to life ever after, escaping the second death.
Ezekiel 40-48 describes the first eternity that was offered to man.

Noted, however the first eternal kingdom offered to man was a flesh one. This kingdom is shown in Ezekiel 40-48

Not.

Zero evidence of this in Scripture. Man is not created immortal. God alone is immortal.

Life ever after is attained one way only and this was God's plan from before the foundation of the world.

I believe you are rejected what you have no knowledge of… and I could go into great depth concerning this topic, but I only hope you consider my words.

circumcision) No flesh
Ezek 44:9
9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel. KJV 1 Cor 15:50-51
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, KJV
Marriage No marriage
Ezek 44:22
22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before. KJV Matt 22:30
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. KJV
Death

No death!!!!!!!

Ezek 44:25
25 And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may defile themselves. KJV Rev 21:4
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. KJV
Blood sacrifices for sin

No more blood sacrifices for sin

Ezek 44:29-31
29 They shall eat the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs.
30 And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest's: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
31 The priests shall not eat of any thing that is dead of itself, or torn, whether it be fowl or beast. KJV Heb 9:11-14
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? KJV
And again, animal sacrifice

And again, no more animal sacrifices for sin

Ezek 45:17-19
17 And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.
18 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary: KJV
Heb 9:28
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. KJV

The only answer for this above apparent lack of correspondence is that Ezekiel's vision has been superseded by God Himself in the New Testament. Search all you can, there is no other possibility. None. Ezekiel can't happen as written, this is clear; so what happened?

Man brake (broke/forfeited) God's covenant and killed His Messiah; He, who was to be King, they murdered. No King = no Kingdom. Thus, the promised Kingdom was withdrawn and the final Kingdom set in abeyance (i.e., not yet), to be later realized in a glorified fashion. For no longer is the promised Kingdom to be in the flesh; but now the Kingdom is to be in the spiritual realm, perfect; wherein "...we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." (1 John 3:2). This was not how it was to be under the Old Testament promise.

Had they not killed Christ this would have led to the above Ezekiel 39 Scripture and into the Ezekiel 40-48 Scriptures. But they broke that covenant when they broke Jesus Christ on the cross. Nevertheless, God knew that they would reject the Messiah, and in His dying He made a way of escape for those who believe upon Him—even unto today. That way of escape is outlined in the New Testament of our Bible. However, Christ needn't have died to save them; you will remember that Christ even forgave sin BEFORE He died on the cross "And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee." (Lk 5:20).

And if they had not killed Christ we would be in the Ezekiel 40-48 Scriptures forever, Christ reigning over His people; there never would have been a New Testament of the Bible. But, since having broken the covenant and killing the Messiah, God changed the final outcome of this world—that change can be read of in the book of Revelation.

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

Adam died before the end of the first millennial day. So in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Does this not seem obvious?

Ezekiel...
hmmm..

You shall give a young bull for a sin offering to the priests, the Levites, who are of the seed of Zadok, who approach Me to minister to Me,' says the Lord GOD.
'You shall take some of its blood and put [it] on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and on the rim around it; thus you shall cleanse it and make atonement for it.
Then you shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and burn it in the appointed place of the temple, outside the sanctuary.
On the second day you shall offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed [it] with the bull.
When you have finished cleansing [it,] you shall offer a young bull without blemish, and a ram from the flock without blemish. When you offer them before the LORD, the priests shall throw salt on them, and they will offer them up [as] a burnt offering to the LORD.
Every day for seven days you shall prepare a goat [for] a sin offering; they shall also prepare a young bull and a ram from the flock, both without blemish.

this is also obvious:

Genesis 3:20-21
And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

This is a bittersweet story where all 10 bridemaids were prepared to meet the Lord but there was a delay and some became disillusioned and because of their actions they became the foolish. Sleeping sometimes refers to a christian's death before the resurrection but in this case they are fully alive. The Bridegroom was obviously the Lord. There was no condemnation for those sleeping as they waited on the Lord. The jewish wedding analogy is deeply entrenched in this story. It was custom in the days of Yeshua that the bridemaids escorted the Bride to the Bridegoom's abode ( in this case heaven ) along with the entourage of the Bridegroom. The bridegroom always came at night and tried to surprise the Bride and always came after dark so lamps were needed.

IMO the Bridemaids represents Israel; as God had always intended Israel to bring the message of salvation to the entire world, both jew and gentile alike. The nation of Israel was to lead the gentiles the way to Christ.

This story takes place during the Tribulation. The time of peace and security is over for Israel. A rebellion and a falling away is taking place. The foolish are saying: Is this the one we seek?? The dealers re the disciples of the antichrist leading some to destruction. The oil these dealers are selling is fuel for the lake of Fire!

We looked for peace, but no good came, for a time of healing, but behold terror. The snorting of the horses ( disciples ) is heard from Dan; at the neighing of their stallilons the whole land quakes. They come to devour the land all the fills it, the city ( jerusalem ) and those that dwell in it Jeremiah 8: 15-16
you went a bit quirky there at the end ... the virtuous maidens could have by no means have counselled the unwise to go to the disciples of Antichrist.

The no 10 in scripture denotes the nations so these are the Jews returned to Israel. Daniel 12 is the key to understanding this parable.

After the tribulation after Michael has prevailed against the armies which have come up against Israel.

"Many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake..."

REVELATION ... the Jews are to be raised from the dead along with the church .... you never heard that before. Every Jew who ever lived. Some to shine as bright as the firmament some to everlasting shame and contempt. And they who are wise will turn many to righteousness and shine as the stars forever and ever. These are the five wise and five foolish.

The wise are to reign with Christ in the millennium a kingdom of priests turning the nations to righteousness.

What glories are ahead.

We must use common sense, and I know you will understand my point..
Eve is not the mother of “All” living.
Is Eve the mother of trees?
What about Tigers and dolphins? Is Eve the mother of these animals?
Eve is the Mother of Christ, and all those in Christ are alive.

My point is, Magneta is insinuating that Gods plan was always for man to live in the flesh and die. We know flesh and blood doesn’t enter the kingdom, and we read of a paradise on earth without flesh. So Magneta is correct in this aspect.
However; it is only a half truth, and if they had not murdered the Lord, our eternity would be Ezekiel 40-48
What I posted was to show that this kingdom mentioned is much different than the one offered in the NT… Hope that makes sense.
Peace to you Posthuman

Thank you - yes, I misunderstood what you were saying. sorry

about the flesh and blood however, what we know is that flesh and blood don't inherit the Kingdom - that doesn't rule out a physical aspect of the Kingdom, though. God will. make both a new heavens and a new earth, and Christ both physically rose and physically ascended. we will not be resurrected only spiritually, but bodily - like Him, and He demonstrated conclusively after His resurrection that He was specifically not just a spirit ((as the disciples thought)) - He ate a fish!

You've a lot to the story that isn't there. Jesus wants us always to be ready for his Second Coming. It's a parable with one point; that is it.

Welcome to the club bro, the amount of knowledge that escapes me is paramount.

Basically article and particle allows the reader to denote. It lets us identify whether the word “man” means mankind, people, races, etc.
Or if the word “man” means one specific man.
This is utilized heavily in Genesis.

Many things are still unknown but one day when in the presence of the Lord we shall know, I was thinking about what you said about gen 1 and 2 about;

""In Gen 1, the plants and animals were created BEFORE man(kind) was created.

In Gen 2, the plants and animals were formed AFTER the man Adam was formed.""

there seem to be a problem, there was only creation event not 2 different sequences. which one is the correct one? we will know one day.

Blessings, sorry for the delays I had a very busy week so far.

Blessings
