Meh, just seems like mockery. If I was a "Pharisee" this wouldn't change me in the slightest, might offend me, and even alienate me. What good comes out of it? I'm not trying to take it so seriously, but its at their expense, and for what? A chuckle? Meh.
right if you were a pharisses but if it was directed to cathloic preist , jw's , mornons, 7da that would be ok right LOL

Well, for one you aren't Jesus. :D Secondly, do you believe your goal here, in this post, was the same as Jesus'? You aren't correcting Pharisees here, you may be exposing them however. Honestly CS1, what was your goal here? Consider that people's reception of it is "humorous", and that may be as deep as it goes.

Hate to rain on your parade, but yeah. Its not really all that important, so I won't keep hounding you over it.

This is true, and I wouldn't deny it. I didn't get a feeling this was for that purpose though. Also, do we honestly believe a Legalist or Pharisee would read this and be like, "Yes! Thats me." or anything like that? It seems to me to be more aimed at the choir.
You never know God works in mysterious ways, if someone who maybe high minded and thinks they are full of rightousness might read this and it may spark something in them, what people may see as mundane another persons eyes open, sort of like that ol say one man's trash is another man's treasure.

You see, I was trying to be funny not rude. :p Its all good CS1. I don't know about that false narratives comment though, maybe that was uncalled for. Like I said, I won't hound you over it. Also, thats a shame that you intentionally don't respond to my posts.
No it 's not a shame, there are many I choose not to. it is mainly because I respect your post. And instead of innerjecting something that you are not trying to speak on it would be wrong for me to do that. But I do like to respond to those who attack others who they disagree with the in the post they have started. most of the time those types can't win so they or if they cannnot make a biblical refute say:
your not loving , no display of the fruits of the spirit, I speak the word of God , and pharissesical stuff like that. Which Jesus addressed in Matthew 23 :) I think instead of soeaking out in disagreement and Being LOOONNNNNNNGGGGGgggg suffering I will just banned them :)

I've come to realize some understandings can come from vastly different places that I least expect it would.

Matt 13:44
"The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

For the record, I'm sorry for misrepresenting the intentions of the OP or suggesting motives (of CS1). I was just putting myself in the shoes of a Pharisee, and thinking how I would respond to this thread (or how I would feel, or perceive this thread). All is well.

When someone says the word grace, the immediately counter with excusing sin, loving sin, and hater of Gods commands
exactly.............we believe in a grace based eternal salvation so we for sure teach we can live like the devil and do as we please with a license to sin....

Just one more thing to mention about being a modern day pharisee is that often times they are completely ignorant to the fact of what they are. ( checks his own heart just in case)

you have cart before the horse .

if one is saved, they will produce good works of Christ because Christ has changed them. anyone can do a good deed but they do it for many reasons . The motivation of one who is saved to do a good deed is out of love for God. I do what Jesus said to do because I love Him and He loves me. No amount of good works can repay what Jesus did on the Cross for me. You too are taking the word of God out of Context.
Where does Jesus say that in the goats and sheep parable? Where does Jesus preach salvation through faith in His sacrifice alone anywhere in The Bible? Don't quote me Paul or any apostle. Give me a verse from Jesus Himself.

Romans 6
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

This is what I see, when I hear, or see Grace only salvationist's posts!

What I don't see? And "Grace" also applies here! As coveting is a sin, yanno? God's GRACE in "moving forwards", in perfecting, or maturing of one's faith!

Romans 6

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

It can also be said that the Modern day Pharisee is the one who abuses grace in the same way that the Pharisees of old abused the law.

And that is clearly what we are seeing today--the new, modern day Pharisee who takes the words of the New Covenant and twists them to cater to his/her sinful, unsaved life in order to make themselves appear righteous in Christ when in fact they are not.
