There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2

The Narrow Way - Matthew 7

[SUP]13 [/SUP]“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Because[SUP][a][/SUP] narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

I Never Knew You

[SUP]21 [/SUP]“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ [SUP]23 [/SUP]And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

My question is: Which Road Are You On?

JESUS said that HE was the TRUTH,the WAY and the LIFE.

In order to make It Into heaven,a person has got to be perfect, the way that our father In heaven Is perfect and then once the spirit Is made perfect,It Is sealed so when we sin In the flesh, the spirit does not participate.

Then Paul said In Romans 12 that we should present our bodies a living sacrifice.

There Is now no condemnation to those In CHRIST JESUS.
So then I would say after GOD does a work In us we are saved and our salvation Is secure, but then we should renew our minds (this Is done In our bodies here on earth)and we earn rewards which will be tested by fire to see what sort of work It Is.

Jesus did the "will of God"...and delivered us from this present evil world

Galatians 1:4 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

It is God in us that gives us the will and the ability to do His will.

Philippians 2:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP]
for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

The Will of the Father is to believe on Jesus.

1 John 3:23-24 (NASB)
[SUP]23[/SUP]
This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.

[SUP]24 [/SUP]
The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

The good works we do are from "being in Christ"..being lead by the Holy Spirit. Notice God has prepared them for us. We walk them out as we life our lives dependent on Him.

Ephesians 2:8-10 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For
by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

[SUP]9 [/SUP] not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

This is an interesting proposal. Our spirits are made perfect yet we still sin.
This does not sound like the Christian faith at all.

The gospel says we are washed clean by the blood of Christ, we are called holy
and pure. But this washing like any other can be defiled by sin.

It appears to me that you have managed to construct a way to stay a sinner
but be regarded as perfect.

Now a different theological view is we have the imputed righteousness of Christ,
so it does not matter how we are, God only sees Christ.

I take the view that we are what we are, and Christ sees it all. Our calling is through
grace and faith we learn to walk in love and righteousness, and one day we will walk
like Jesus. The key issue is keeping the faith, and refining our walk.

This is the traditional view of sanctification, it is through the walk that we become
and grow into the Kingdom.

It is why Jesus in the sermon on the mount talked about obedience and various different
approaches that need to be worked into our lives to bring into reality the Kingdom into
our lives.

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
Matt 7:24-25

Some will say that Jesus was not talking to us but only the Jews.
But people will lie all the time and take the very salvation of God from
your souls. Who do you want to listen to God or man?

Hebrews 12:23
King James Version(KJV)

23.)To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
+++
As for as sinning, although we sin In the flesh,GOD Is not holding that sin against us anymore for those that have been born of the Spirit.

Remeber that GOD Is a Spirit and must be worshiped, HIS Spirit to our spirit and our spirit to HIS Spirit and thats the part of the born again person that God sees and Is born of Incorruptible seed, sealed and cannot sin.

But our bodies have not been glorified and sins.
+++
Romans 7:22-25
King James Version(KJV)

22.)For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23.)But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24.)O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25.)I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

The gospel says we are washed clean by the blood of Christ, we are called holy
and pure. But this washing like any other can be defiled by sin
the spirit of the reborn person Is just and made perfect which Is the part GOD sees.
There are consequences to sinning but It affects us according to the flesh, not the reborn spirit which GOD sees that are members of the body of CHRIST and In CHRIST there Is no darkness.

It appears to me that you have managed to construct a way to stay a sinner
but be regarded as perfect
Its that GOD forgives us and now Instead of being seperated from GOD,the born of the Spirit of GOD person has been forgivin once and forever and now should be renewing their minds, becoming more righteous conscious.

I take the view that we are what we are, and Christ sees it all. Our calling is through
grace and faith we learn to walk in love and righteousness, and one day we will walk
like Jesus. The key issue is keeping the faith, and refining our walk.
Its the Spirit that gives life, the body counts for nothing.
When It comes to our walk In the flesh,as you have received CHRIST,so walk ye In HIM.

Remember what Paul said In
Romans 12:1-2
King James Version(KJV)

1.)I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2.)And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

JESUS was born under law but the words HE spoke were spiritual and they are life.

Sanctification is a process that we must walk after receiving the free gift of salvation by faith in Jesus and his redeeming work on the cross. We are sanctified and are being sanctified as we learn how to become more like Christ and less like the world we came out from. We are being made perfect as we allow ourselves to be molded, trained and disciplined and our minds renewed under powerful guidance of the Holy Spirit's leading. The Holy Spirit is our helper who was given to us a deposit, guaranteeing our inheritance. Ephesians 1:14, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 5:5, Romans 4:16.

That is that escape from reality doctrine of a "disassociated identity", it's like a "double minded" man who is unstable in all his ways. It is a name it and claim it salvation, which tells it's followers by thinking themselves perfect, they are perfect in an instant, even though they still confess to sin all the time.

I made a post on this false doctrine here--->>>>http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...self-righteousness-instant-perfectionism.html

The Messiah even teaches how to pray,

This prayer was an OT prayer taught by the Lord to His disciples. It doesn't apply to the Church of Jesus Christ now, Bc His Kingdom has already come. To pray again for the Kingdom to come would be an anti-Christ prayer!!! by the way, you never find anywhere in the New testament , the apostles applly this prayer after the cross. we should learn to pray the way the apostles prayed and not the way the disciples prayed

i think you are mistaking sanctification for Godliness. Sanctification is instantaneous while Godliness is progressive. Sanctification means separated from profane use and set apart for holy use. Thats why in the OT, people and items were sanctified once and set apart unto the Lord. while Godliness is the believers daily walk in God-likeness

Its ALL JESUS and not JESUS ,and I helped a little bit.

If a person were to die Immediately after being saved they would go to heaven, correct?

But I think you are saying that If a person remains alive an In their body and they sin, that they will lose their salvation.

I can see where you are coming from, whether you know It or not,you are counting the flesh as life giving, and the flesh counts for nothing, nevertheless, grace doesn't teach a person to want to live In sin.

We are GOD's workmanship created In CHRIST JESUS unto good works that were before ordained that we should walk In them.

Those who have a "dissociative identitity" are those who claim to be Christians but who think that means they must now live like a Jew. And it's those who try to mix Law and grace who inevitably are double-minded. As you confirm so well.

ok, in the future, when all humanity will come before God on every Sabbath, (Isa66), you explain to God that you are not with that.
