Your right Jesus and Paul did not say the law was abolished or overwritten, but find their fulfilment in Christ.

Christ gave them their full meaning.. Love God--love your neigbour,, as all the law and prophets hang/depend on that/them, the the OT Mosaic law. Which points to Christ, in all His work.

Because Christ fulfilled the law, that is he is the true obedient one/perfect unlike the first Adam. Christ is righteous, the One true Priest and prophet (greater than the OT priests and prophets who where only a shadow Heb 1:1-4; NB.Heb 4:14- 5:16).

In Christ fulfilling all righteousness, that is God's Holy requirements set out in the law, we who are in Christ are 'counted' as righteous. We are no longer under the legal demands of the Mosaic economy/law. For it points to Christ and is fulfilled by Him.

We can only uphold the Law because Christ Himself perfectly obeyed it and payed the curse for us, and in Him we uphold/establish the law. We no longer strive under the law, but grace.

I think in your above post, you have misunderstood why, first of all the why Christ had to come and secondly the nature of His work then and now. You conflate the Mosaic covenant with the New.
Even Jesus said as much.

I was talking about things found is resources like dictionaries. Yes, there are many scriptures that talk about things like God's name lasting forever.

In Romans 9:6, it may be the Father, or it may be the Trinity. To be honest, I'm not sure.
So you re not sure, did you notince I quote 2 verses one from the OT and ome from the NT, the NT verses was a direct quote from the OT, do we know who is being talked about there?

You shouldn't need to know what I believe before you answer a question, since answering a question shows what you believe. Plus all you have to do is go back to the posts i have written. If you go back you will see that I think the moral law is good :) So it would be good for you to answer.

My Question here is not aimed at you but to anyone really, Where before or after the Mosaic law is the Sabbath observance required? Remembering that the Mosaic law is now obsolete (Heb 8:13).

Phil I asked you two questions;

1. Do you know the difference between God's Law (10 commandments) and the laws of Moses (Mosaic Law)? If you do could you please explain what they are and what they mean to you?

2. In your view do you believe God's people did not know or have God's Laws (10 commandments) before they were given in Exodus 20?

The reason I asked these questions is to better understand what it is you are trying to say unless I have a wrong idea on what you believe. Many of your statements to me state or imply a number of things............

* You believe that God's Law (10 commandments) which includes the 7th day Sabbath was not kept before Mt Sinai

* You believe because Jesus kept God's Law and we are saved by grace through faith, God's Law is no longer a requirement to the Christian and cannot be obeyed

* You believe all of God's Law is obeyed only by love to your neighbor but ignore there are two great commandments one being your duty of love to God and the other being your duty of love to man on which hang all of God's Law.

* You do not know the difference between God's Law (10 commandments and the Mosaic laws)

Simply trying to avoid my questions while you expect others here to answer all your questions only shows myself and the reader two things, either;

a. You do not know the answer to the questions so you try to avoid the answering them or

b. You have something to hide.

If these were not true then you would have cut to the chase and answered the questions. By answering these questions would save so much time in getting to the truth.

I don't see why you need to know what I believe on order to answer a question.. Its your answer not mine.

Well this statement at least answers one of my questions. You do indeed not know the difference between God’s Law (10 commandments) and the laws of Moses and is the reason why you may be confused.

Let’s see what God’s Word says and why Ecclesiastes 3:14 was used to say God’s Law is forever…………..

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

The context of the chapter is contrasting the works of man and the works of God. Man’s work is temporary and God’s work is forever……..

Now let’s see what God’s Word says about God’s Law (10 commandments)………….

God’s Law (10 commandments) is the work of God (Exodus 32:16) Whatsoever God does is forever nothing can be added to it or taken away (Ecclesiastes 3:14). God's Law is perfect converting the soul (Psalms 19:7). God's Law the very foundation of the Old and New Covenants (Exodus 20:1:17, Hebrews 8:10-12). God's Law was spoken by God himself to His people (Exodus 20:1-22). Jesus says Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 25:35). Gods Law is still in force today (Psalms 111:7-8, Revelation 12:17, 14:12, 22:14, 1 John 3:5-8, 1 John 2:3-4 etc.). The Law of God reveals sin to us so we can see ourselves as we truly are sinners in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4). God’s Law is the great standard of the judgement (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, James 2:10-12, 1 John 3:4, Acts 17:31). God's Law is our teacher revealing sin and the character of God and brings us to Christ at the foot of the cross that we might be saved by faith by Him who loves us and washed us in His own blood (Galatians 3:24; Revelation 1:5). God writes His Law in our hearts so that we become like him and we follow him because we love him (Heb 8:10-12) LOVE is the fulfilling (doing) of God's Law (Romans 13:10). This is why Jesus says to those that love him If you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15). He that says I know him and keeps not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him (1 John 2:4) Obedience to God’s Law is the fruit of faith that works by love and fulfils God’s Law in those who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit (James 2:20; 26; Romans 13:8-10; Romans 8:1-4)

So no my friend nothing I have said is out of place and there is no major problem from my end. It is your understanding of God’s Word that is the problem because you do not know the difference between God’s Law and the laws of Moses. God’s Law is forever. It is much of the Mosaic laws that were temporary pointing to Jesus…

It's the one who loves, who fulfils the commandments, and we can only fully love when in Christ.Romans 13:8-10 8, Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9, For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10, Love works no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
If someone has love how do you believe it is demonstrated in the life of those that have faith?
We can only fulfil the commandment/s to love God and your neighbour as yourself, only only the basis that Jesus fulfilled the law on our behalf.
Are you saying that you are a Christian practicing sin and Jesus cannot help his people to stop sin?
Anyhow when Christians meet together to worship and praise God and to hear His word and break bread on the 'Lord's day'..what a glorious day, and reminds us of the creational Sabbath of the eternal Sabbath rest awaiting us.
God’s Word says that only the 7th Day Sabbath is the Lord’s day and Jesus is the Lord of it (Mark 2:27-28). “The Lord’s day” is not Sunday nor is Sunday a Holy day according to God’s Word. Do you follow God through love and keep His Sabbath day Holy and follow God’s Word? Or do you follow Sunday worship? God’s Word says if we follow the teaching and traditions of man which breaks the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Gee wiz. Are you claiming Mosaic law is NOT From God? You differentiate it from God's law. And here all of the years I was taught it was all God's laws. You are going down a slippery slope using that terminology.

I see no mention of the work of Christ in those who demand that we follow the ten commandments, in fact Christ doesn't even seem to be central to their thinking..Law is.But we will have to wait and see what answers are given.

You imply things in your post that has no merit in truth. Firstly who here has told you that anyone here believes they are saved by what they do in keeping God's Law apart from love and faith alone in the one who loves all. What you fail to hear is that it is only faith that works by love that shows someone is following God or not. Obedience is the fruit of the believer that has been changed from stone to flesh to love through the faith they have in the one who first loved us. It is because of love that we follow God who loves all and love is the fulfilling of God's Law to those that have faith and walk in his Spirit. You say Christ does not seem to be central to our thinking when all we say is that because of our love to him we follow him because he calls us. Who here has said to you that we are saved by the works of the law and not by faith alone through him who loves all? How can one not have Christ central to ones thinking if they through love follows the one who calls them?

I am not saying this at all.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16)

Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matt 4:4)

For the prophecy came not in old time5 by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:21)

I said ....There is a difference between God's Law and the laws of Moses not that one was not from God. Please do not read into something I have written that is not there.

Just incase you get the wrong idea, I have no problem taking one day out of 7, to rest in the heart of the gospel message and to rest in communion with fellow believers, breaking bread just like the very first Christians on the Lord's Day. Who wouldn't want to? Our Sabbath rest is in Christ.

Sunday worship came about because of the limit of the Sabbath walking distance. The disciples lived in diverse places so they gathered on the first day of week. They worshiped every day. This caused Sunday to have a special meaning.

I don't see why you need to know what I believe on order to answer a question.. Its your answer not mine.
Here is the question:
Where before or after the Mosaic law is the Sabbath observance required? Remembering that the Mosaic law is now obsolete (Heb 8:13).
I have told you twice already the reason I have asked you two questions is so I do not misunderstand you. From what you have shown in your posts and questions to others is that you expect people to answer your questions but ignore questions asked of you.

It is ok if you cannot answer them. I will answer them for you. You are not here to discuss anything you are here to present your interpretation of God's Word and are not willing to share and be open to what others have to share. This is ok you have answered my real questions and helped me to have a better understanding of where you are coming from...
The two questions I asked you earlier actually answer your own question which is why I asked them in the first place to see your response and your reason in asking them.

Let's see what God's Word says..............

There was two sets of laws that were given to God’s people in the Old Testament scriptures.

(1) God’s Law (10 commandments) pointed out what sin was and the penalty of sin which is death. It was never a cure for sin in the Old Testament as well as in the New. It only gives a knowledge of what sin is and righteousness (right doing) (Rom 3:20; James 2:11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Romans 6:23; Psalms 119:172).

(2) The laws of Moses was the second set of laws and included all the civil, ceremonial, and ecclesiastical laws. These laws could not tell you what sin was this was the job of God’s Law, however the laws of Moses were the prescriptive cure for sin in the Old Covenant. These laws included all the Levitical and ceremonial laws, sacrificial burnt offerings for sin, annual festivals and earthly sanctuary services for sin. These laws were the cure for sin so the sinner could be made right with God. These where all prophetic in nature, teaching the plan of salvation which pointing to Jesus as the true lamb of God and our great high priest and His Work on our behalf in the Heavenly Sanctuary. (Leviticus 1; 3-12; 14-17; 22-23; Number 6-8; 15; 28-29; Deuteronomy 12; 33; Exodus 25:8; John 1:29; 36; Revelation 5:6; 1 Corinthians 5:6-7; Hebrews 8:2-13; 9:1-28)

From the above it can be seen that God’s Law was written on stone and the laws of Moses in a book. God’s Law is forever and only points out what sin is but was never a cure for sin (Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4; Romans 6:23).

The laws of Moses included all the ceremonial and ecclesiastical laws that were the cure for sin with all the sin offerings and earthly Sanctuary services, annual festivals and sin offerings which were prophetic in nature and temporary pointing to the life, death, resurrection of Jesus and his role as the true lamb of God and your great high priest to atone for our sins (John 1:29; 36; Revelation 5:6; 1 Corinthians 5:6-7; Hebrews 8:2-13; 9:1-28).

Ephesians 2:15 and Colossians 2:14 The handwriting of ordinances (ceremonial laws and ordinances written in a book) is referring to the ceremonial, ecclesiastical laws of Moses which included the Jewish annual festivals and sin offerings that pointed to Jesus.

The Greek words used here is handwriting G5498 χειρόγραφον; cheirographon; which means; hand written legal document which is combined with ordinance G1378 δόγμα dogma dog'-mah From the base of G1380; which means; civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical law: - decree;

The Greek meaning of handwriting of ordinances in v14 of Colossians 2 and v15 in Ephesians 2 is a hand written legal document or book of civil, ceremonial and ecclesiastical laws. These are the laws referred to in verse 14 that have been erased and are nailed to the cross.

Why were the ceremonial laws of Moses (handwriting of ordinances) nailed to the cross?...............

Jesus was our true sacrifice for our sins and the saviour of the world that the ceremonial laws of Moses all pointed to. When Jesus came and died the old Covenant laws of Moses that pointed to Jesus and the plan of salvation was fulfilled (John 1:29; 36; Rev 5:6; 1Cor 5:6-7; Heb 8:2-13; 9:1-28). Jesus is our true Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and our sacrifice for our sins. It is our sins as well as the ceremonial laws of Moses that were nailed to the cross at the death of Jesus (Colossians 2:14; Ephesians 2:15; John 3:16).

God's Law is forever and the standard of the Old and New Covenants and the Judgement to come.....

The Law of God (10 commandments) is the work of God (Exodus 32:16) whatsoever God does is forever nothing can be added to it or taken away (Ecclesiastes 3:14). God's Law is perfect converting the soul (Psalms 19:7). It is the very foundation of the Old and New Covenants (Exodus 20:1:17, Hebrews 8:10-12). God's Law was spoken by God himself to His people (Exodus 20:1-22). Jesus says Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 25:35). Gods Law is still in force today (Psalms 111:7-8, Revelation 12:17, 14:12, 22:14, 1 John 3:5-8, 1 John 2:3-4 etc.). The Law of God reveals sin to us so we can see ourselves as we truly are sinners in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4). It is the great standard of the judgement (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, James 2:10-12, 1 John 3:4, Acts 17:31). God's Law is our teacher revealing sin and the character of God and brings us to Christ at the foot of the cross that we might be saved by faith by Him who loves us and washed us in His own blood (Galatians 3:24; Revelation 1:5). God writes His Law in our hearts so that we become like him and we follow him because we love him (Heb 8:10-12) LOVE is the fulfilling (doing) of God's Law (Romans 13:10). This is why Jesus says to those that love him If you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15). He that says I know him and keeps not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him (1 John 2:4) Obedience to God’s Law is the fruit of faith that works by love and fulfills

Love is the fulfilling of God's Royal Law.....

Matthew 22:36-40

Jesus says we have (1) a duty of love to God as well as a (2) duty of love to our neighbor in Matthew 22:36-40 and on these two commandments hang all the Law and the prophets....

Now let's look at the message of Jesus to the rich young ruler. I believe this is the same message that can be a blessing or a curse to you because you hold the same belief that if you only have to follow the 2nd great commandment of love to your neighbor...

Matthew 19:16-26
16, And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17, And he said unto him, Why call thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandment(s) <Plural more then one referring to the two Great one love to God and neighbor>. 18, He saith unto him, Which? This was the message to the rich young ruler because he believed he practiced love to His neighbor which is the second great commandment and this is what you believe, but Jesus tells him Go sell all that you have and give it to the poor and come and follow me. The rich young ruler went away sorrowful because he had great possessions.....

What is the meaning?....................

The rich young ruler believed he was following God because he was obeying God's 2nd great commandment which is our duty of Love our neighbor. He quotes the commandments the are our duty of love to our neighbor but deep down inside he knew that something was wrong, so he went and asks Jesus, What must I do to that I may have eternal life? Jesus then shows him that he loved his possessions more than God and was not obeying the 1st great commandment and duty of love to God. His God and idol was his possessions which he loved more than God.

Was the rich young ruler in a saved state?

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. He was sorrowful because Jesus showed him he was not really following his duty of Love to God (1st great commandment) and goes on to say... Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

If we break one of God's commandments of love on which all the Law and the prophets hang, we stand guilty before God of breaking all of them... If we reject God's Word then God's Word will judge us in the last days..

There are two great commandments. One is our love to God (Exodus 20:1-11; Deut 6:5; Matt 22:36-40) and the second is love to our neighbor (Exodus 20:12-17; Lev 19:18; Matt 22:36-40) Love is indeed the fulfilling of the entire Law. However, if we are breaking any of God's commandments it shows us that we do not have the love of God in us. Only by faith that works by love is God's Law fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit and is why we need to be born again......

On the two Great commandments of love hang all of God's Law......

Matthew 22:36-40

36, Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? 37, And he said unto him, (1) Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38, This is the great and first commandment. 39, And a second like unto it is this, (2) Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 40, On these two commandments the whole law hangs, and the prophets.

Duty of love to our neighbor.....

Romans 13:8-10

8, Owe no man anything, save to love one another: for he that loves his neighbor hath fulfilled the law. 9, For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet, and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 10, Love works no ill to his neighbor: love therefore is the fulfillment of the law. (this is the 2nd great commandment of love to our neighbor)

James 2:8-12
8, Howbeit if ye fulfill the royal law, according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well: 9, but if ye have respect of persons, ye commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is become guilty of all. 11, For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12, So speak ye, and so do, as men that are to be judged by a law of liberty.

If we are knowingly and willfully breaking any of God's commandments we do not have God's love in us. This includes your duty of love to God in the first great commandment. If you break the 4th commandment you are not fulfilling your duty of your love to God. God is calling us to repent and believe the Gospel for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand....

Did Abraham keep God's commandments?

Genesis 26:5
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

The Hebrew words God uses here are especially important. As The Expositor’s Bible Commentary explains regarding this verse: “The Lord then added a remarkable note: Abraham ‘kept my requirements [ mismarti ], my commands [ miswotay ], my decrees [ huqqotay ] and my laws [ wetorotay ]’ (v. 5).

“It is remarkable that this is precisely the way in which obedience to the Sinai Covenant is expressed in Deuteronomy 11:1 ‘Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements [ mismarto ], his decrees [ huqqotayw ], his laws [ mispatayw ] and his commands [ miswotayw ]’ . . .

“Thus Abraham is an example of one who shows the law written on his heart (Jeremiah 31:33). Were the ceremonial laws for sin offerings known before God gave the 10 commandments and Moses wrote the ceremonial laws for sin? Now it must be very clear, if God's people were practicing ceremonial offerings for sin they would have known God's Law (10 commandments) because sin is the transgression of God's Law and the knowledge of what sin is (1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7, James 2:11). Otherwise why the need to offer up sin offering if they did not know what sin was?

So these scriptures indeed answers your question from God's Word and also with the other posts provided shows the the 4th Commandment is one of the 10. If we break knowingly break it we stand guilty before God of sin and if unrepentant in danger of the judgement. Only through faith that works by love can God save you from sin because love is the fulfilling of His law in us who walk by faith and not by sight to follow the one who loves us and is why Jesus says if you love me keep my commandments. Do you really love God?................

Are you really loving God and your neighbour?

God's Law (10 commandments) of love is summed up as our love for God and man (Matthew 22:36-40).

So by saying this is someone fulfilling their duty of loving God or his neighbor if they break His commandments? Or is someone in a saved state if they are practicing known unrepentant sin? These are interesting questions. No one is saved by trying to keep God's Law. Everyone is only saved by God's grace through faith and not of ourselves it is only a gift of God as we believe His Word but obedience is indeed the fruit of faith and if it is not in the life of those profession his name they are not believers and do not have saving faith and are in danger of the judgment.

Let's look at the scriptures.................

What is sin..................?

1 John 3:4
Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

James 2:11
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 7:7
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Sin is breaking of God's Law (10 commandments).........

Is someone saved who is practicing unrepentant sin........................?

God’s people through faith that works by love do not practice sin. This is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil and because of their love for Jesus then keep his commandments (See also; John 14:15; 15:10; Rev 12:17; 14:12; 22:14)

Let's pull it all together....

Sin is breaking any of God's 10 commandments. If we knowingly break any of God's commandments and do not repent then we are in unrepentant sin. Those that are knowingly breaking any of God's 10 commandments and are in unrepentant sin will not inherit the Kingdom of God. (Hebrews 10:26-27; Hebrews 6:4-8; James 2:8-12; 1John 3:3-10; Acts 17:30-31)

God has 10 commandments; if we knowingly break any one of them we stand guilty before God of committing sin and breaking His Law. This includes the 4th commandment the 7th Day Sabbath which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:1-17; James 2:11; Romans 3:20; 7:7;

1 John 3:4).

God’s true believers keep all of God’s commandments (including the 7th Day Sabbath) through their faith that works by love in God’s Word. Love is the fulfilling of God’s law in them because they walk be faith that works by love in His Spirit.

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls on all men everywhere to repent and seek him today while he may be found. Tomorrow may be too late...

I don't see why you need to know what I believe on order to answer a question.. Its your answer not mine. Here is the question: Where before or after the Mosaic law is the Sabbath observance required? Remembering that the Mosaic law is now obsolete (Heb 8:13).
Sorry Phil I noticed I missed a section to your questions which includes the Sabbath from God's Law (not Mosaic) after Mt Sinai. I have not time to go through all the OT scriptures so will just focus on some of the NT scriptures only......

Let's look at what God's Word says.......

What did Jesus and the Apostles teach about the Sabbath in the New Testament?

1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Mark 2:27)
3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4)
5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Rev 14:12; Rev 22:14; Eze 20:20)
8. Jesus is our example and he kept the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; 1 Cor 11:1; Eph 5:1-21; Pet 2:20-22)
9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

God’s Law in the NC is written on our hearts it is through love and it is love the fulfills God’s Law in us as we walk not after the flesh but after the spirit and is why Jesus says f you love me keep my commandments. (John 14:15; John 15:10). If we knowingly break one of God’s commandments we commit sin (1 John 3:4). This includes the 7th Day Sabbath which Jesus made for us and commands us to keep as a holy day.

Now including all the posts and scriptures provided you in posts # 3525; 3537; 3538; 3539; 3540 your question has been clearly answered through God's Word. I look forward to you answering these posts. If you cannot we must believe God over the teachings and traditions of man that break the commandments of God or God's Word tells us that we are not following him. (Matthew 15:3-9)
