PART 1/5

Hmm now MMD how can you BELIEVE and know him who calls us when you do not KNOW him who calls you. If you do not KNOW the Gospel how can you know the scriptures of him who LOVES you?

Amen! NOWHERE does the NT teach that keeping the Sabbath day is binding on Christians under the New Covenant. SDA's can quote a multitude of scriptures and twist those scriptures to try and make them say whatever they want them say, but they are not fooling us. ;)
Yet the Word of God would disagree with you....

Mark 2
27,
And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the sabbath:

Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries w/TVM, Strong meaning for MAN - G444 ἄνθρωπος; anthrōpos; anth'-ro-pos; From G435 and ὤψ ōps (the countenance ; from G3700); manfaced, that is, a human being: - certain, man. Thayer's Greek Lexicon STRONGS NT 444: ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος, ἀνθρώπου, ὁ (perhaps from ἀνήρ and ὤψ, i. e. man's face: Curtius, § 422; Vanicek, p. 9. From Homer down); man. It is used 1. universally, with reference to the genus or nature, without distinction of sex, a human being, whether male or female: John 16:21. And in this sense a. with the article, generically, so as to include all human individuals: Matthew 4:4 (ἐπ' ἄρτῳ ζήσεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος); Matthew 12:35 (ὁ ἀγαθός ἄνθρωπος every good person); Matthew 15:11, 18; Mark 2:27; Mark 7:15, 18, 20; Luke 4:4; John 2:25 (Winer's Grammar, § 18, 8); John 7:51; Romans 7:1, etc.

Seem Jesus disagrees with you. He says the Sabbath was made for ALL mankind both male and female......
In the NEW Covenant there are only BELIEVERS and UNBELIEVERS which will you be.........

Romans
28,
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29, But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Galatians 3
27,
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28, There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29, And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Colossians 3
11,
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Indeed God's 4th Commandment is the "Lord's day" (Matthew 12:8) given to ALL MANKIND that you try and say is Sunday in order to keep your tradition. Yet the Word of God tells you to follow no such thing. God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

*Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
And yet the OP and the bible with 200+ scriptures would disagree with your interpretation of Colossians 2:16 as does the chapter CONTEXT and within scripture CONTEXT.

Colossians 2
16, Let no man therefore judge you in meat,6 or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance 4521. sabbaton ; σάββατον ; sabbaton; sab'-bat-on
Of Hebrew origin [H7676]; the Sabbath (that is, Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension a se'nnight, that is, the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications: - sabbath (day), week.

The use of the word sabbaton translated from the Hebrew for Sabbath can be applied to a number of different meaning and interpretation of the scriptures depending on the within CONTEXT of the scripture combined with the within CONTEXT of the Chapter.

In this case the within Chapter context in the chapter is the Mosaic ceremonial laws for remission of sins written in the book of Moses

Colossians 2
14, Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

(1) CONTEXT of COL 2:16 is v14. is talking about the Mosaic laws for remission of sin that were shadows pointing to Jesus; not the ten commandments of God’s Law. Nowhere are the 10 commandments mentioned in Col chapter 2.

v11-13 Shadows of Mosaic laws of circumcision of the new heart in Christ

14, BLOTTING OUT < G1813 ἐξαλείφω exaleipho (ex-a-lei'-fō) v. means to rub out, i.e. obliterate, erase> the HANDWRITING < G5498 χειρόγραφον cheirographon (chei-ro'-gra-fon) n. means
something hand-written (“chirograph”), i.e. a manuscript specially, a legal document > of ORDINANCES < G1378 δόγμα dogma (d̮og'-ma) n. meansordinance; civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical > that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

v20, Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, v21, Touch not; taste not; handle not; v22, Which all are to perish with the using; after the commandments and doctrines of men

CONTEXT of the chapter is the CEREMONIAL Mosaic laws for remission of sin that are shadows pointing to Jesus and nailed to the cross with our sins. This is further highlighted that at the death of Jesus the temple vail was torn in two meaning the END of the Mosaic ceremonial laws for remission of SINS as these were fulfilled in Christ (Matthew 27:51).

Further proof that Col 2:16 is talking about the annual Jewish festivals and Mosaic laws for remission of sin? Let’s look at the subject matter of v16

(2) SUBJECT MATTER OF v16 is (1) meat, or in drink, or in (2) respect of an holyday, or of the (3) new moon, or of the (4) sabbath days (plural)

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in (1) meat, or in drink, or in (2) respect of an holyday (Festival), or of the (3) new moon, or of the (4) sabbath days (plural):
Compare Col 2:16 with the annual Jewish festivals from the Mosic annual festival laws for remission of sin...

Ezekiel 45
17, And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and (1) meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the (2) feasts, and in the (3) new moons, and in the sabbaths <Plural>, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.
18, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:
19, And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.
20, And so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house.
21, In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the (2) passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.

All CONTEXT and points 1-4 match perfectly to the Annual Jewish festivals detailed in both scriptures; also detailed in Leviticus 23; (1) meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the (2) feasts, and in the (3) new moons, and in the sabbaths <Plural>

So it is very clear the Col 2:16 is in reference to the annual Jewish Festivals from the Mosaic laws for remission of sin....

Also last key point here. The word sabbaton used here also means day of weekly repose from secular avocations. As this within chapter CONTEXT is the ceremonial laws of Moses and the within scripture CONTEXT is the annual Jewish festivals linked to the ceremonial laws of Moses. The annual festivals have a combination of days that are Holy convocation and special annual festival sabbaths that can fall on ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. (wiki)

These are different to God’s 4[SUP]th[/SUP] commandment and have a different purpose and use in relation to the festival it is attached to.

The point here is that on these Holy convocations and special sabbath days NO WORK was to be conducted these were in part application sabbaton (GREEK WORD USE). So the GREEK word used in Colossians 2:16 is rightly translated for the days of Holy Convocation and special festival sabbaths of the Mosaic annual feast days of the old testament where NO secular WORK was to be conducted.

Yes indeed and we are not even started on the OP yet which links many of scriptures from Col 2:14-17 to the OLD Testament scriptures with the NEW Testament scritpures.

Please my friend do you disagree? If you do please show us from the scriptures why you disagree? If you cannot your should consider your interpretation of two scruiptures that disagree with over 200+ scriptures from God's Word.

As Jesus says as shown above already. God's 4th Commandment was made for ALL MANKIND and is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11). If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

............

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

PART 2/5

Even when SDA's set out to worship on the Sabbath, are they truly "keeping the Sabbath?" To "keep the Sabbath" as it was required in the Old Testament under the Old Covenant would involve compliance with specific regulations (Exodus 16:23; 35:3; Leviticus 23:32; Jeremiah 17:21) that were strictly enforced. *Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel that is not binding on Christians under the New Covenant. If Sabbath day observances are still required, so would the burnt offerings which went along with them (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13). So no kindling a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath (Exodus 35:3). Every man must remain in his place (no traveling) on the sabbath (Exodus 16:29). No trading (Amos 8:5). No marketing (Nehemiah 10:31; 13:15,19).
Well none of the above is true whatsoever my friend and only shows you do not know what the OLD Covenant was. We are living in the NEW Covenant now and not the OLD. If you do not KNOW what the Old Covenant is how can you KNOW what the NEW Covenant is? If you do not KNOW what the NEW Covenant is how can you know what the Gospel is? If you do not KNOW what the Gospel is how can you know Him who LOVES you and is calling you to BELIEVE and FOLLOW him?

Let's have a look at the scriptures.........

WHAT IS THE OLD COVENANT?

There is many laws in the Torah but according to scripture, the OLD Covenant laws were divided into (1) God's LAW (10 commandments) and the (2) Mosaic laws written in the book. God commanded Moses to keep these laws separated in the Ark of the Covenant that made up the Old Covenant.

God's LAW was written and made by God alone and nothing was to be added to it and the Mosaic law was made and written by Moses as directed by God in a book. God's LAW (10 commandments) was placed in the Ark of the Covenant. While the Mosaic book of the law was placed in the side of the Ark of the covenant (Ex 32:16; 34:28; Deut 4:13; 10:4Romans 3:20, 1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7; Ps 119:172; James 2:8-12; Hebrews 8:10-12; Gal 3:24; Deut 5:22; Ex 34:28; Deut 4:13; 10:4Ecc 3:14; God's LAW; Ex 25:16; Deut 10:5; Ecc 3:14; Book of the law; Deut 31:26; Col 2:14-17).

It is true indeed that both God's LAW and the Mosaic laws written in the book of the covenant collectively have the 613 commands. This being said both Gods' LAW and the Mosaic laws for remission of sin have a different purpose and it was God who Commanded both the 10 commandments and the book of Moses to be kept separated and nothing was to be added to God's 10 Commandments.

The purpose of God's LAW written on stone and the Mosaic laws written in the book

1) God’s Law
(10 commandments)
Purpose; reveals what sin and righteousness. It is the KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil and describes the penalty for sin (
Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4; Romans 6:23). It was never a cure for sin. But it was the work of God which is forever and the standard of the Old Covenant, the New Covenant and the Judgement to come. (Exodus 32:16; Exodus 31:18; 31:18; Exodus 20:1-22; Deuteronomy 10:5; Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4; Romans 6:23; Hebrews 7:19; Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, James 2:10-12, 1 John 3:4, Acts 17:31; Ps 111:7-8; Revelation 12:17; 14:12; 22:14; 1 John 3:5-8; 1 John 2:3-4; Ecclesiastes 3:14)
(2) The laws of Moses (Levitical, ceremonial, sacrificial)
Purpose; was the prescriptive cure for sin with all the Levitical and ceremonial laws, burnt offerings for sin, annual feast days foretelling the plan of salvation which were connected to Feast days with New Moon sabbaths, food and drink offerings and other Holy days. These where all types pointing to Jesus and the plan of salvation and provided a cure for sin through animal sacrifice and food and drink offerings and yearly sin atonement's for God’s people. (
Leviticus 1:1-13; Leviticus 23:1-44; Numbers 28:1-31; 29:1-40; Deuteronomy 24:10-11; Exodus 24:3; Deuteronomy 31:24-26; Colossians 2:16-16; Hebrews 10:1; Ephesians 2:14-15; Leviticus 4; 5; 6; Hebrews 4:14; 9;10; John 1:29; not exhaustive there are many more).

Why were the ceremonial laws of Moses (handwriting of ordinances) nailed to the cross and shadows of things to come......

Jesus was our true sacrifice for our sins and the Savior of the world that the ceremonial laws of Moses all pointed to. When Jesus came and died the old Covenant laws of Moses that pointed to Jesus and the plan of salvation was fulfilled (
John 1:29; 36; Revelation 5:6; 1 Corinthians 5:6-7; Hebrews 8:2-13; 9:1-28). Jesus is our true Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and our sacrifice for our sins. It is our sins as well as the ceremonial laws of Moses that were nailed to the cross at the death of Jesus (Colossians 2:14; Ephesians 2:15; John 3:16).

So just as the Mosaic laws for remission of SIN are have a difference purpose to God's Law (10 commandments) they are all temporary Shadows because they were all pointing to Jesus and the plan of salvation. While God's Law is not temporary they are the manifestation of the Character of God through LOVE.

This is WHY the scriptures you quote only show you do not know the difference between God's Law (10 commandments) and the Mosaic laws for remission of son and their purpose under the OLD and NEW Covenant. God's LAW is FOREVER while the Mosaic laws written in the book are shadows pointing to Jesus and God's plan of salvation.

It is because you apply the Mosaic laws written in the book pointing to Jesus and the plan of salvation to God's LAW (10 commandments) under the NEW COVENANT when they have already been fulfilled in Christ (Col 2:14)!

Now if you bothered to read the OP you would already understand this but the scriptures you quote and the application of them only show you have not read the OP or do you understand the scriptures you quote or the Old Covenant.

If you do not understand the Old Covenant how can you understand the NEW Covenant of LOVE with God's LAWS of stone written on the HEART in those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW him in LOVE?

If you do not agree with anything I have posted by all means please address the posts and the scriptures provided in the posts and your reasons why you disagree with supporting scriptures.

If you cannot why do you not BELIEVE God's Word? If you do not know what the Gospel is then you are building your house on the sand and great shall be the fall thereof.

God loves you and wants you to be ready for his return. If you hear his voice please harden not your heart. Search the scriptures and see if these things be so.

............

PART 3/5

These were commanded by God to Israel (Exodus 35:1).
Who is God's Israel in the NEW Covenant.............

Who are Israel?

"Israel" is only a name given by God himself to represent his people. The origin of the name "Israel" come from Genesis 32:28 where Jacob wrestled with the Angel and prevailed ...for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Its meaning is his posterity will rule as God. Jacob had 12 sons representing the 12 tribes of Israel.

Israel is only a name given by God that represents God's people and today anyone who is following Jesus is part of God's Israel according to God's Word.

What does God's Word say.....................................…

Let God be true and every man a liar that thou might be justified in thy sayings, and might overcome when thou art judged.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He says not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, AND TO YOUR SEED, WHICH IS CHRIST (Galatians 3:16)

Abraham’s seed is Israel............................................

THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE (Galatians 3:28).

No explanation needed, believe God's Word, and again..........................

FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL,: NEITHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called <Christ> That is, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE <those who believe> ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED (Romans 9:6).

FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:28-29)

God's Israel...............

Galatians 3:28-29,
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Colossians 3:11,
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Romans 10:11-13,
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 2:28-29,
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel..........................

Jeremiah 31:33-4,
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Hebrews 8:10-12,
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Hebrews 10:14-17,
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Galatians 3:29,
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise

The New Covenant is for God's Israel which represent God’s followers the believers. If you are not part of God's Israel you are not part of the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:10-12).

God's Israel are those that believe the Word of God and follow it and is why Jesus says If you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15) and again He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him (1 John 2:4).

.................

PART 4/5

If the seventh day Sabbath is still in affect, then why do not the Sabbatarians seek to obey ALL that the LORD commanded? How can a person keep a certain law when he keeps only part of it? If the Sabbath day laws were still in effect today, then according to Exodus 31:12-18; 35:1-3; and Numbers 15:32-36, anyone who profaned the Sabbath was put to death and any person who does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from his people. Who is going to enforce that? The Jewish synagogue? The Seventh day Adventist church? The Government? Since we do not live under a theocratic state as ancient Israel did under the Old Covenant, no Sabbatarian can live consistently under these Mosaic regulations.
This my friend only shows you do NOT know what the OLD Covenant is and what the NEW Covenant is. We are in the NEW Covenant today and not in the OLD Covenant. You quote scripture from the OLD testament that is referring to the CIVIL laws of Israel for anyone caught openly SINNING against God. What you do not tell everyone however is that the same Death penalty was given under the CIVIL laws of Israel for nearly every commandment that was openly broken. Let's look at the scriptures..

Death Penalties under the CIVIL laws of Israel in the Old Covenant.

We are in the NEW Covenant now. The application of the DEATH penalty for SIN in the NEW covenant takes place at the 2nd coming to all those practiing SIN because they reject the GIFT of God's dear son. (Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-27; Matthew 7:19; 2 Cor 5:10; 2 Peter 3:10; Matt 25:46; Romans 2:5; 2 Peter 2:1-9; Matthew 16:27; Romans 2:12 etc..)

God's LAW is the standard of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS and the penalty for SIN under the CIVIL laws of Moses wa DEATH for the nation of Israel under the OLD Covenant.

Unless you are living in the nation of Israel under the Old Covenant then those laws do not apply to you.

 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to commit adultery?
 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to lie?
 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to steal?
 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to murder anyone?
 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to use God's name in vain?
 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to dishonor your parents?
 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to serve other Gods?
 • Are you able under the NEW Covenant to make idols of things?

Now my friend, how many commandments are in God's 10 commandments? (hint; Exodus 34:28; Deuteronomy 4:13; Deuteronomy 10:4)

Now if you answered NO you cannot break God's LAW (10 commandments) in the NEW Covenant you answered correctly.

Just like you could not break any of the other commandments in the Old Covenant because that would be committing SIN because SIN is the transgression of God's LAW and as the scriptures says, if we continue in known unrepentant SIN the WAGES of SIN = DEATH because those practicing SIN have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-27)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to just like all the other 10 commandments, we stand guilty before God of committing SIN (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

The CIVIL laws of Moses were to teach God's people that the punishment for SIN was death. This is the same in the NEW Covenant but only carried out at the 2nd coming. It was also a Shadow that is yet to be fulfilled pointing to the 2nd coming (see scriptures above).

So under the NEW Covenant this DEATH sentance is carried out at the 2nd coming against all those who reject God's Word and refuse the GIFT of God's dear son.

Do you disagree with any of the scriptures I have shared with you? Please respond to the posts and the scrriptures in them if you cannot then you should BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of God. It is the Word of God that will judge us all in the last days. SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's Kingdom.

PART 5/5

SDA's play the same game in salvation as every other false movement of Christendom. They profess to teach that salvation is by grace through faith, but then redefine this in a way that is contrary to salvation by grace through faith, not works. Even though they deny this, they teach that salvation is by "grace plus law, faith plus works." Their doctrine of salvation is a subtle mixture of law and grace that is a perversion of the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). :(
Now MMD this has absolutely NO truth in it whatsoever. If you believe it does please show my scripture and respond to the posts and the scriptures I have sent you the disagree with you traditions and teachings of men? If you cannot you should BELIEVE God's Word and FOLLOW him who calls you. Many are called but indeed few are chosen because many look to the traditions and teachings of men that break the commandments of God and is why we are warned.....

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:5)

There is a counterfeit Gospel however and it is the one you believe and are teaching. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed when the light shines in the darkness there is no where to hide.

THE COUNTERFEIT GOSPEL?

The Counterfeit GOSPEL is one that tries to separate God's LAW (10 commandments) from GRACE....
Why is God's Law important to helping someone to have faith in Christ alone?

Because it is only through GOD'S LAW (10 commandments) that any of us have a knowledge of what sin is (James 2:11; 1 John 3:4; Rom 3:20; 7:7).

If we do away with God's Law we have no knowledge of sin. If we have no knowledge of sin we have no need of a saviour. If we have no need of a saviour we have no salvation. If we have no salvation we are lost.

"For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law." (Rom 2:12).

God's Law shows us that we are sinners in need of a saviour. God's Law was given to us that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God (Rom 3:19). It shows us that we are sinners and cannot save ourselves from this disease that we have within us so that we can by Faith lay hold of the promises of God's Words alone so that Jesus can save us from our sins.

Jesus did not come to save the righteous (those that think they do not need saving) but sinners (those that know their need of saving) (Matt 9:12-13; Mark 2:17; Luke 5:32) God's Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it.

God's forever Law (the 10 commandments) is the standard of both the Old and the New Covenant and the very standard and basis of the true Gospel of Christ. It will be the basis of the judgement where we will all be accountable to God.

The Law of God is the only way of showing us who we truly are, sinners in need of a Saviour and in this condition we can see for the first time Him who loved us and washed us in His own blood and by faith only lay hold of the promises of God’s Word. (2Pet 1:4)

It is here as we believe God that he changes us from living a life of breaking God's Law to a life of walking with him (Romans 8:1-4).

It is through the operation of God through Love because he first loved us that we follow Jesus not for salvation but because of love. Love is the fulfilling of God's Law in us who walk not after the flesh (carnal sinful mind) but after the spirit and why Jesus says to his followers, "If you love me keep the commandments" (John 14:15).

People cannot see that this is the operation of God in the believer and assume God's people believe they are saved by their works, when in fact Jesus is saving us from our sins to walk in newness of life in fulfilment of His new Covenant promise (Heb 8:10-12)......

Gods Sheep hear His Voice salvation is from sin and sin is the transgression of God's Law (1John 3:4) whosoever is living in sin has neither seen him nor known him (1John 3:6)

Salvation is being saved from sin not in sin. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:4). Those that are still in their sins have neither seen him or know him (1 John 2:3-4, 1 John 3:3-10; Romans 13:8-10; James 2:8-12).

Search the scriptures and see if these things be so.

.........................

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Hope this helps..

What’s funny is you keep dodging and ignoring the very thing that refutes your misguided theology. There is is not one scripture in all of the New Testament that teaches us how to observe the Sabbath today, under the New Covenant. JPT
Now JLB that has no truth in it whatsoever. All your questions have been answered indeed with scripture you have chosen to ignore. If you do not like BELIEVE the scriptures please by all means answer the posts and the scritpures in them that have been sent to you and let's duscuss them. If you cannot you should believe God's Word because only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who calls us. SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom. It is on the Word of God we stand or fall. It seems like you have fallen.

Instead of the law Grace, having died under the Law and identified with Christ in His death One thing remains: Grace.
"One thing is needful and Mary has chosen that good part, witch will not be taken from her."
Mary is the first example of Grace: God's ability to forget our old life and go on to know the Lord.
"One thing, forgetting what lies behind I press on,"
"One thing you lack, sell all that you have and give to the poor and come follow Me," to repent:
Giving up our Life for the Life of God. "A new commandment I give you, that you Love one another as I Love you."
Yes we come short and misunderstand, it's not about giving up money, as Paul explains, that could be done without Love, and "Without Love I am nothing." Grace is freely given as we come to Him for help, to give up our life in a sentence if death with Him. Now we don't have to "Sell all that you have and give to the poor and come follow Me," It's to late for that, that was before Grace was freely given. How do we know that "Sell all you have and give to the poor is no longer a requirement to be a disciple? lol Some of you are thinking, you better have a good answer in the bible about this. "Let him that has a purse take it." Just before Jesus left.
It's giving our whole heart that counts: Not having a divided spirit, represented by Mary Magdalene breaking the Jar of ointment, pouring her admiration and appreciation, anointing Jesus for burial. It was needful for the Lord to experience appreciation for His sacrifice, and He said that where salvation would be preached, what she did would be mentioned.

God's law and the Mosaic Law are the same, Moses's law was just a schoolmaster so they would know how to keep the law given by God, both laws were given by God, How is keeping the law being legalistic? The very commandment that starts off with "Remember" is the one were suppose to forget? In the bible it has more verses then all the other commandments if I'm not mistaken, The commandment that is legalistic has more verses in the bible then the one about Not Say Gods Name in Vain, God's trying to tell us something, The Sabbath is not something God changed, At no point did God give us the right, James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Okay, so God doesn't think the Sabbaths important, but he told us to "Remember it" well maybe God just would straighten that out for us so we wouldn't need to keep it again, but he never did, Paul never did either no matter how people keep trying to put that on him, Paul taught that were no longer under the law as a whole, Not just the Sabbath, were under grace, Instead of trying to keep the law which is impossible, we love Jesus our saviour and by doing so will keep the law because we love him, Not saying the Law should be forgetten, The law is for sinners, People who haven't come to Christ and schoolmaster, But were under grace, We know better, through his Love will keep the law. Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

For people who say the Sabbath was for the jews, as I've said before, Adam,Abramham, and even Moses weren't jews, and once we come to God were all children of the promise Galatians 3 . 7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 8And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. and 10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14That the blessing of Abrah23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.am might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith,

The law itself condemns us to death, But through Christ we can live, The Sabbath was not mentioned here, but the law as a whole, How is it to worship God in Spirit and truth? John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. So please explain to me how worshiping on the day God gave is legalistic more then God telling us to not steal from our neighbor? or God telling Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge? Exodus 20: 15 Thou shalt not steal. Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Because their the same? God never made a exception? what's the difference? please explain to me, I am searching for truth, and I want to know brother, we want to make it to Heaven let's all be on one accord Phillppians 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Please answer, what's the difference from all 9, from the 4th commandment? GodBless you and I hope to see you in Heaven one day.

Paul said we do not void out the law through faith, but we establish the law,and the law is spiritual, holy, just, and good, the morals laws, laws of love.

The spiritual laws were in the Old Testament, but the Spirit was not given so God had them do physical ordinances until Christ came.

In the New Testament the Spirit is given which people can have the power to obey the spiritual law,and do not have to go by the physical ordinances of Israel, for Jesus nailed them to His cross taking them out of the way for they have no bearing on spiritual salvation, which include the physical sabbath day.

The ten commandments are spiritual laws which are love towards God and people, and Jesus and the Bible teaches greater love than the Old Testament, such as stoning not in place, not being blessed with money and material things, but only going by their needs, cannot war as in the Old Testament.

The ten commandments is spiritual, and we obey the commandment to keep the sabbath by receiving the Spirit, and it is a spiritual sabbath, and we celebrate the creation of the New Jerusalem the place Jesus went away to prepare.

The Bible says that with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to these people saying, this is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest, and this is the refreshing, yet they would not hear.

God created and rested on the 7th day concerning this earth,so a physical sabbath, but when a person receives the Spirit they belong to the heavenly realm, which they are strangers passing through the land seeking a better place, and they will not say here is the kingdom of God,or there, for behold the kingdom of God is within you when you have the Spirit,so you belong to that world, and celebrate a spiritual sabbath by the Spirit.

Love is the fulfillment of the law, But it means because we love him we keep his law, Because otherwise Murder is acceptable to God, but that can't be true because We can't love God if we hate our neighbor and don't care if our actions will cause him to be lost, And God told us that Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. Which means because we love him will not break his law, God said John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. love and keeping God's law go hand and hand, God said Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. so if we go by the bible, God wants us to keep his law, it doesn't change and God never changed it, because it's perfect, Pslams 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. How is it that the law that God says "remember" is the one we want to get rid of, God would tell us that the Sabbath wasn't needed, and that we don't need to follow it, But he never did, he never changed it, and never will Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Jesus fulfils the law, we love him well keep his commandments, This is important, God has given us something, If God put Remember at the front, then he must have a purpose for it, Until he tell us otherwise, we should study and do what he tells us.

PART 1/5

Hmm now MMD how can you BELIEVE and know him who calls us when you do not KNOW him who calls you. If you do not KNOW the Gospel how can you know the scriptures of him who LOVES you?
Brother you yourself need to answer that question, as you can only speak for yourself. you are not having too give account to God for others. He is the saviour of all men, especially of them that believe. You are in a cycle of addiction caused by fear. Maybe because you have trouble answering, that you expect others to answer for you, or is it a cry for attention, regardless you have helped a few of us see a little better that when the old covenant was cancelled in His death the law was cancelled as well, "He came to deliver those who through fear of death were held their whole lifetime in bondage."

You shall know them by their fruit. Judge righteous judgement. There is none righteous not one. Only God is good and it is the Word of God that judges all. To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Judge righteous judgement. Only Gods's Word is rightouess because it is the Word of God that judges us in the last days. It is the Word of God that says; He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. God's Word is righteous judgement indeed. I judge no man only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it. SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom

Having died with Christ only what is of God remains, "Faith, hope, and Love, remains.
The law remains for siners obviously, but having died with Christ, "A dead man is free from sin." God caries us into His dead to all that is not of God, and sinners should rather bear the cross in spite of the suffering involved than cling to the law. People cling to the law because their ego still fears death, we can't help you and neither can you help us through our trouble to enter. "Every man shall bear his own burden." If people are suffering for sin under the law rather than bearing the cross, they think we should have to suffer with them or be nailed to the cross of Christ, and thankfully we have freedom of choice.

Worrier said:
What's your understanding of the book of Ezekiel 47:2-7 brother?
Everyone receiving the Holy Spirit is Healed.
Verse 11 refers to those who remain in the mire: in the flesh, those who reject the Holy Spirit will not be healed.
The dead sea represents nations, while interpretation is consistent, we don't know the details: waters represents nations Revelations 7:15 gives the interpretation for waters. Not referring to the river of life obviously but those dead in the water: dead to the Love of God.
Concerning progression from ankles, knees waist, to waters to swim in that cant be crossed.
Comments are my interpretation admitting seeing dimly and there must be more to this.
Those that are in waters to swim in that cant be crossed, were to far from the Lord when this last day outpouring of the spirit happened and will not make it in the first resurrection.
Those who the water is up their waist need their loins cleansed of sexual desires that are not of God.
Those up the knees need to be cleansed of divided spirit, divided between the Love of God and a life for themselves.
Those up to ankles are walking close the Lord: are close to entering His house and only need their feet cleansed to walk as Jesus walked.
In 1John Speaks of 3 groups Little children, fathers, and young men refers to those who have overcome the evil.

Brother everything you said is true, But it still stands, The law cannot be gotten away with, yes we don't need the law itself, We have hope in Christ, but you can't get rid of the law, Because the law is perfect, But it's only for a sinner, or unrighteous man 1 Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, But does that get rid of the law? No, it's still important, the principals still exist, we just don't need the law to save us, Jesus does that, the law just shows us Jesus's character, Romans 7;7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet...So the law is needed, it just has a purpose, We keep the love of Christ and don't sin because of our love for him, not because we want to keep the law which is impossible, Are you saying now you will commit adultery because we don't need the law? No, we know better now, and will do right because we've found Christ, How does that change the Sabbath? it still stands, Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

Were not suppose to stay a law unto ourselves, were suppose to find Christ, None of this does away with the Sabbath, for if it did all the other commandments must all be done away with, and That can't be true because, Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. So Jesus fulfill the law for us, through our love for him because John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Not 9 of my commandments, not 7, not 4, But all 10 of them, he made no distinction, He never said we don't need them, He said we need him, which means we wont do the wrong things through his love, Please understand, Godbless.

1 Corinthians 4:15

New International Version
Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.

New Living Translation
For even if you had ten thousand others to teach you about Christ, you have only one spiritual father. For I became your father in Christ Jesus when I preached the Good News to you.

English Standard Version
For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

Berean Study Bible
