To write a book, on how the devil tried to destroy me, he terrorises and tormented me day and night. My book is about my struggles becoming a Christian. When I decided to write my book God told me it has to be well written. It’s not a book for sale, you click on my website and read it for free.

Every day I put into practice the teachings in the holy bible, I live it daily. Plus there other thing God wants me to do, join a church, take bible studies, and then preach the gospel to others, help the homeless, etc
I apologize if what I said was ignorant I was a little overwhelmed last night and I was not thinking compassionatly

You sure God didn't say 'read' a book. There is an excellent one on the subject, its called the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But don't be sad.

Young isn't stupid. You can't fix stupid.

Young is sometimes naive. Naive is fixable.

(And, I'm still stuck somewhere between thinking like I was a kid and thinking like I'm 61, but when I was a kid, the average man lived to 58-60, so that means 28 is "middle-aged." And now that people live to their late 70s, I'm thinking I'm still middle-aged. So, not so sure I'd have called you young. Young, yes! But only because I think anyone under 60 is young. BUT I still think you're a man, so not "young," like a kid. And certainly not stupid!)

If we read the bible closely, we'll find that sometimes God PUNISHES people by simply GIVING THEM WHAT THEY WANT.

Something to think about.
Honestly do think God is punishing me sometimes by giving me what I didn't want. lol

And then I get out of self-absorbed and get over myself.

There are three reasons I won't be reading what you write yet.
1. You focus on the devil too much.
2. You think YOU fixed it all, put in all the effort, and everything resolves around you.
3. You set this up so someone would ask so you could promote your book.

When you get to the point that it's about God, not about you, then maybe I'll get interested. Considering your background, that will probably take a while for you to figure out it IS about God.

Maybe start at A. Why do you think these demons are attacking you, and making you suffer?
Maybe don't, considering the focus isn't about demons, and she's already shown she wants to talk about what she has done.

No dear, you're certainly not stupid. Every single person on this site lacks wisdom in areas. Not one person can say they know all the answers. It takes godly wisdom to admit we are lacking and to ask questions. We all are in a continual state of learning as God conforms us more and more into the image of His Son Jesus. Anyone who believes otherwise is a fool.

Proverbs 18:2 ~ A fool takes no pleasure in learning, but only in expressing his/her opinion.

I Timothy 4:12 ~ Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Dear brother Monnkai, you are one of the most humble members on this site which makes you also one of the wisest, by God's standards.

Proverbs 11:2 ~ When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

In I Corinthians beginning in verse 27, the Word teaches us how God uses the lowly, seemingly foolish folks to confound those who think they're wise. He does this to teach us that no flesh will glory in God's Presence.

Be encouraged, young brother. I'm so glad for your genuine godly friendship, and I know there are many others who would say the same! :D

Honeatly I didnt want people to think I was some inconciderate jerk and since I read her post I came to relise it was very ignorant to think she didnt know what suffering was. And honestly when I posted it I was a little miffed that people could ask for suffering so causually. I've learned my lesson though thanks for your kind words as always AutieAnt

I have suffered every day for the last 33 years; I want to suffer for the Gospel even more.
Try teaching about WOF, prosperity, healing for all, and the like, and you will have all the tests, trials, and sufferings for Christ and the Gospel, that you can handle.
It goes with the territory.

Those who have given up all sin, know what it means to suffer daily. He that loses his/her life for Jesus, know what it means to suffer daily for Him.

2Ti_3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

If your not, maybe you should reevaluate your walk with Him.

Tell me what sin do you think a person does that they can't cease from?

if then you can cease from any sin, the question is, why don't you cease from them?

Those who do not cease from sin, love to commit that sin, that is why they do not cease that sin, they love committing that sin.

Scriptures calls those that can't cease from sin, cursed children.

Jesus told a man and a woman to "Go and sin no more"

The Apostle tell us "Awake to Righteousness and Sin not"

Strange, Jesus and the Apostles all think it is possible to cease from sin. But not so with this generation, they love to sin so much, the mere thought of giving them up sickens them. No, this generation would rather believe the false doctrines that teach you can continue to live in sin, and still go to Heaven. Yeah, many fall into that pit.

i do all things to please Jesus Christ, i will not obey His enemy and commit sin. i abhor sinning against my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He gave His life for me, i in a like manner have given Him my life as well. i HAVE sinned much, i no longer continue to sin against my Lord Jesus Christ.

There is no sin that you do that you can't cease from. The question is, "Why are you not ceasing from them" That is the question isn't it.

You first.

Why are you so arrogant (which, BTW, is a sin), but don't do anything about it?

I don't think they went LOOKING for tribulation, they just recognized It.

Karen suffering is not something you should want it does not glorify him to purposely desire to suffer, he does not want you to have to suffer any more than you have to. Suffering will always be a part of this life we all ave suffered in some way or another some much more than others but if you are wanting more suffering then perhaps you don't know what true suffering is.

Many here have gone through such severe searing pain and left them so worn and weak and their bodies completely out of life so much so that death seems like a blessing just for rest and peace and freedom from the pain. Some go through this everyday with no relief just barely hanging on having only Jesus to lean on, others cry out for death sometimes because it can be so overwhelming and so harsh and that is just the physical suffering the spiritual suffering can be just as bad if not worse.

I can’t help wanting to suffer more.

I have suffered every day for the last 33 years; I want to suffer for the Gospel even more.
If we suffer for the Gospel of Christ, and endure it that is good, but we should not want to intentionally suffer for the Gospel, and we do not have anything to prove but we will suffer for the Gospel if that is the case.

God may allow us to suffer for the sake of the Gospel, which would be coming from the world in persecution, but I am sure God would also want us to have a break from the persecution and have some peace and quiet.

If we have the attitude that if we suffer for the Gospel whatever people thinks that entails,we will endure it and move forward like a good soldier of Christ, then if we do not suffer but things are going great in our life we should count our self blessed for we are not trying to duck the suffering for the Gospel in the sense we will back off from our responsibility,so it is obvious that God wants things to go smooth in our life at the point in time.

You should count yourself blessed if you do not suffer, for you are not trying to avoid it by not living like you should,so obviously God wants you to have things smooth in your life,so do not go against God.

Act 28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
Act 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Paul suffered many things for the Gospel, which even Paul would of had plenty of time of peace and quiet without suffering, and for 2 years he dwelled in a house and preached the kingdom of God,and Jesus Christ, with all confidence, and no person forbid him, which appears to mean that he did not suffer any persecution,or suffering for those 2 years.

God might allow us to suffer for the Gospel, but He will also give us a break from it so we have peace and quiet for a time, and some more than others, and if you labor for the kingdom of God nothing wavering, and preach the Gospel of Christ with boldness, and do not back down from being how a Christian should be,then if you do not suffer it is obvious that God does not want you to suffer for He is not allowing it to happen.

If a person lives like they should nothing wavering, and they do not suffer,be happy, and we should not want to intentionally suffer, but we should have the attitude I will suffer if so be it.
