see if you are willing to hear the scriptures I feel support only those two
Scriptures does not specifically say who the 2 witnesses will be so one has to read the Book of Speculations to make any claims about who these guys will be.

As with a lot of the end times stuff - we'll see how it plays out when the time comes so there's no need to argue over it because nobody can know for sure and all we can do is speculate

If they are not testifying of Jesus Christ then they are satanic and sent by the devil.

There's only two ways to be - for Jesus, or against Him.
Well, they are obviously not pointing to Jesus by tormenting and killing people. They are not pointing to him.or following him.
Jesus taught about the events in judea during the 42 months stay of the gentiles in his Olivet discourse. Not everyone who comes in the name of Jesus Christ are pointing to him.

Mathew 24
"5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

If the two witnesses were following the Lamb, they would be persecuted during those 42 month tribulation as everyone else who follows the lamb but they are not. They are not killed for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God.Thry are killed because they torment and kill other people. The two witnesses don't spend one day in prison for their testimony

While all these wise teachers are being imprisoned and killed. The two witnesses are killing and tormenting.

Daniel 11:33-35
Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.
During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.
And some of the wise will fall victim to persecution. In this way, they will be refined and cleansed and made pure until the time of the end, for the appointed time is still to come.

If the two witnesses were pointing to Jesus ,they would be beaten in the synagogues and locked up in prison .But no ,they are not.

Luke 21
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

The 2 witnesses are Moses and Elijah. It is not actually them but what they represent...the law and the prophets. They witness that Israel has not fulfilled the old covenant which means they are subject to the curses of the old covenant.
It's about the destruction of Israel and evidenced in Jerusalem in 70AD.

We are not discussing 70 ad.,We are talking about the time of the end and the 42 months preceding it.

Jerusalem is not destroyed until after the two witnesses who defend Jerusalem are destroyed. After the two witnesses are overcome by their enemies are the women in Jerusalem raped and taken captive and the houses ransacked.
After the Lord brings the nations against Jerusalem at the end of the 42 months.

Zech 14
14 A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.
2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city

70AD is the end being spoken of throughout the book of Revelation predominantly.

We're there any witnesses the time of the end was in 70 ad?

Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

I believe it is figurative and de-creative language God uses symbolically in many instances when He is speaking of impending judgment.

So none of the events described by John took place in 70 ad.
That's what I thought.

Nearly all of it did.
Can you give me a brief outline of the book of Revelation? Perhaps break the book down into 4-6 sections?

A brief outline of revelation is the events surrounding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

do you guys actually believe this stuff you are saying? what power does this dude have to bring any sort of plagues on anyone? he has done no plagues whatsoever on anyone. does he even claim to have such powers?

when obama was in office i kept hearing about every move he allegedly made against Jerusalem and how he was gonna be the antichrist and his name is 666 and all that. then he went away, and we start again with trump who was the "Last trump"..... i cant with you guys. stop it. you are just wanting the world to end so badly that you grasp to anything to make the end come tomorrow
I think people need to keep an open mind about who the two witnesses might be.
Jesus has many witnesses in this world just as there are witnesses on this board.
There are some witnesses who are in very powerful positions.

Here is an article about a witness of Jesus Christ who was in such a position of power.
The kind of power that can smite the earth with all sorts of plagues.

When your at war,and you make fire come down from heaven upon your enemy ,you obviously have power.

To be able to simply say the word "fire" and have all your enemies destroyed is power.

When you are able to cause it not to rain upon earth is also power. Its referd to as economic warfare but can be devastating to your adversary.

As for Obama,I knew Obama wasn't the one who would move his embassy to Jerusalem while Bush was president.Thevone who moves his embassy to Jerusalem is preceded by a raiser of taxes according to scripture.Bush was not a raiser of taxes.

Perhaps it would be best if you studied more then you could have made the argument the raiser of taxes was not the one who would move his embassy to Jerusalem.

Yes. Josephus. His is the only eyewitness testimony we have. There is no biblical eyewitness since all of the Bible had been penned before 70 AD.

Thank you for stating the quiet part out loud.
Not only do some "Christians" want the world to to end they have worked to achieve that end.

Ok,will you quote Josephus saying the heavens departed from the earth like a scroll being rolled together? His testimony should look similar to this description .

Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

I think best just to regard Josephus as a historian, not how his witness lines up with the Book of Revelation.
I think we should be able to trust the word's of Jesus at face value ... look at the time stamps in the Book.

Absolutely agree.

I think it is time you leave your futurist eschatology and learn the truth, do more study you will be glad you did.
Departing from.prophecy would be departing from the truth

How long has it been since you departed from the truth?Who was it the hat convinced you that Jesus second coming was in 70 ad?
