Well.....it doesn't say "Most Holy Person" either as you suppose.....:sneaky:
It is not about what I suppose, it is about the context.

there is no perfect english bible.

So we better test all words, and make sure they are right.
It is about context as we read the whole, not build a belief on one verse as so many do.
The only perfect text was the original and no one has those.
But in my opinion, some do seem to change verses to prove a belief.

Precisely.
Which includes every prophecy and quote by anyone associated with it......

Very VERY telling. When you look at it from that perspective.

So who/what is Daniel 9:24-26 speaking about?
The temple, or the coming Messiah?
"in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (KJV)

They cannot sacrifice without the temple. It has to be standing for them to be implementing the sacrificial system.
The temple will be built again.

Some people have actually noticed that has already happened.

Correct, in the mist of the week, He, Jesus, caused the sacrifices and the oblation to cease when He, Jesus, confirmed the new covenant promised by God in Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews chapters 8,9, & 10, with His sacrifice on the cross.
Prophesy fulfilled.
The man of sin, the anti-christ is not mentioned at any time in Daniel 9.

Since when is Jesus the antichrist aka the prince that shall come? Since when does Jesus defile the Temple the Holy PLACE "hagios topos" BY MERELY STANDING IN IT per Matt 24:15?

You do not even realize that Jesus Himself is the commentator who correctly interprets Daniel 9?
Why in the world should I trust your interpretation that is so horrifically butchered?

Matt 24:15 cannot possibly be twisted and contorted into anything other than what it means:
It is the temple, it is future, it is the antichrist commiting the AoD.

Never ever trust a clueless preterist who preaches the outrage that Jesus is the antichrist who defiles the Temple by His prescence.

So when a later day translation adds the word "place" to anointing the Most Holy, that completely changes the meaning of the verse, should you accept that translation?
Hagios topos per Matt 24:15 genius.

Only reason you are not on ignore right now is because I'm using you as a sounding board.
And after that you are gone.

Did not say Jesus is the anti-christ.
Your ability to not understand what I said is so evident.
But your ability to understand most Scripture is also lacking.
You have been mislead by false teachers, you cannot see the simple truth that is stated in Scripture.
Daniel 9:25 speaks of the "Messiah the Prince" will come after 483 weeks.
This is Jesus. A person would have to be stupid not to see this.
Daniel 9:26 speaks of "the people of the prince that is to come shall destroy the city".
This is the army of the roman emperor Vespasian, under the leadership of his son Titus that destroyed the city in 70AD. This is not the antichrist.
A person would have to be stupid not to understand this.
Please put me on ignore.
That way I do not have to see your ignorant responses to my post.

How about you giving us the complete definition of "place" from Strong"s.

Messiah was CUT OFF (Killed) at the END of the 69th week. Not the middle of the 70th week.

And sacrifice and burnt offering continued until 70 AD. Long after Christ died, until the temple was demolished. And there was no ”wing of the temple” where an abomination of desolation is placed.

The people of the “prince who is to come: are the ones who destroy the city and temple, Which means the prince is from the people. Or Rome.

It is HE who confirms a covenant wiht the many for 7 years. And in the middle breaks his own covenant bu standing in the holy place and declaring himself to be God, and it is this that Jesus in Matt 24 says when you see it, RUN! For then there will be great tribulation such as has NEVER been before and will never be after.

David Reagan listed several "causes" Christians should get out there and protest. He never once said go share the gospel and make disciples.

Ah, an abomination that causes desolation which will result in horrors unseen since the creation of the world, and will never be equalled again. It will according to Jesus result in darkness. Rev ch8 describes a third of the sun and a third of the moon not shining on the earth, and therefore a third of the earth will be covered in darkness. Man now has the capability to make that happen. How? Through an abomination we might say that causes desolation
