Gods law is holy and eternal. It points out sin to us .The ceremonial law is done away with ,it pointed forword to Christs perfect sacrifice.The ten commandmedts points us back to creation and God as our creator.The ten commandmends will not fall away ever

For christians it's really the two great love commandments + 10. When Jesus was asked which commandments are the greatest Jesus didn't even quote the 10 commandments but the two love ones. Now there are other commands in scripture which could be called commandments, one is to believe in Christ.
