Jesus being with the Father? But He IS the Father? Eh a bit confusing but I was wondering, from a Oneness perspective why did Jesus say Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? and how do you interpret that?
The main reason was to fulfill Psalms 22.

The main reason was to fulfill Psalms 22.
So that was the main reason, are you saying there are other reasons?

God the Father was manifest in the flesh as the Son just as Isaiah 9:6 said He would be
God the Father died on the Cross you are saying? God the Father died for our sins?
How can He be both the Father and the Father manifested into the Son?

Yes, The Holy Spirit ''who is the Spirit of the Father'' will not posses a corrupted temple. So as Christ became sin the Holy Spirit within Him departed, therefore Jesus cried out My Father, My Father why have you forsaken me.

Definition_Christ let me as this. You believe God the Son became a man, right?

Do you believe God the Son died on the cross?

If not why not, and how would that be different that my belief that the Father became a man yet did not die on the cross?

God did not die, the man He became died. The Son, Jesus Christ.
So you are denying Jesus Christ the human is God right? Because you just said God did not die. But you are saying Jesus did die, so you don't believe Jesus is God?

Jesus was and is God you know I believe that, we both also know God cannot die. So instead of playing word games, why do you not answer my question?

You believe God the Son became a man, right?

Do you believe God the Son died on the cross?

If not why not, and how would that be different that my belief that the Father became a man yet did not die on the cross?

My beliefs line up with Scripture, when I say the Son of God died on the Cross that is actually Biblical, when you say the Father died on the Cross that no where is Scriptural. The Father did not die on the Cross, the Father was in Heaven all of Jesus' Earthly ministry.

I too believe the Son of God died on the cross and not the Father. My question to you is, do you believe God the Son died on the cross? or is it you that does not believe Jesus is God? or do you not know how to answer my question without turning your own theology upside down?

I believe Jesus is fully man and fully God. I just said Jesus, who is the Son of God, died on the Cross. Do you know how to answer a question without getting angry?

You refuse to answer my question.

Do you believe that God died on the cross, whether that be God the Father or God the Son?

I JUST said that Jesus is fully man and fully God, Jesus experienced the separation in His humanity without ceasing to be God, Jesus chose to let His deity remain passive while He walked the Earth as a man.

I will just simplify my last post for you because I just answered that, I'll rephrase it for you though. So you see Jesus is God. Just to let you know. And Jesus has 2 natures, NOT one.. Jesus wasn't ONLY God. Jesus is man also. His second nature is humanity. So you probably assume Jesus had to stop being God in order to die. Not true, Jesus was just experiencing His human nature, He experienced His separation from humanity without ceasing to be God.

I literally just answered this question for you 3 times. I am just starting to think you are starting trouble right now. So since you want to play games. What causes death? Sin does right? Can God sin? No God cannot sin because He is perfect and holy. Was Jesus God? Yes. Did Jesus die? Yes. So did God die? No. Jesus had two natures humanity and God. He was fully God and fully man. Jesus took on sin. That is why Jesus said “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” The Father had to turn away from Jesus became Jesus had become sin. God cannot look upon sin. Now I just said Jesus is God but, keep in mind Jesus let His deity remain passive while He was on Earth. So Jesus became sin and died for us on the Cross taking our place.

So you do not believe God died on the cross good finally an answer. So your point that if the God Jesus was in the Father incarnate means that the Father died on the cross is false by your own admition, because God did not die on the cross :) Thank you for finally being man enough to answer the question.
