Please consider what the following scriptures say the individual's received. It was the Holy Ghost, not Spiritual gifts:
"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place
. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And
they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and began to speak with other tongues. Acts 2:1-4
Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:6 - And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the
Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Acts 8:15
- Who (Peter & John), when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might
receive the Holy Ghost
Apostle Peter stated: "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which
have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Acts 10:47
Luke 11:13 - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your]
heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
