Or many people don't really care because they have self control and don't let fiction books rule their lives.
Sadly that's not the country that I live in. :(:(:(

I suppose you're against sports fans too? They do gather in groups and hold signs and banners. It must be some secret occult practice.

I think you'd better update your geographical IQ map, Praus. Those Twilight moms are bringing down the US average. ;)

Imaginary demons. The real ones are the ones inside us that keep us from loving others.

Sauron represents self. He wants to rule them all.
Gandalf represents Christ. He sends disciples to fix the world.
Frodo represents the bride of Christ, etc.

It's in every story, every movie, every song. Even Harry Potter. Though I don't have time to read Harry Potter.

Jesus comes like a thief. To steal all our graven images for Himself.

[SUP]27 [/SUP]But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; [SUP]28 [/SUP]And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
[SUP]29 [/SUP]That no flesh should glory in his presence.

[SUP]30 [/SUP]But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
[SUP]31 [/SUP]That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

What does that have to do with people in groups holding signs that say they like the Miami Dolphins?
It's from the Super Bowl 2013--NFL right? It's great wickedness all around.

"America is a Christian nation. You hear that a lot from pastors, pundits, and politicians, and of course whenever someone tries to build a Mosque. And maybe we are, Wikipedia, which is on the Internet and therefore infallible, puts the percentage of Christians in America at 76%. Over two-thirds of those are Protestant, half of those are Baptist, and the largest denomination of Baptists are the Southern Baptists, who count me among 16.3 million adherents."

"16.3 million is certainly a lot of people, in fact it's almost as many as 17.3 million, which is the number of people who attended an NFL game in 2009. You see the reason so many people in America check 'Christian' on these Religious Identification Surveys is because football is usually not one of the choices. Because if we are being honest here, and who isn't honest on the Internet, America is really a football nation.":mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Erm... Is this some new side of Christianity I haven't been exposed to before?

Conspiracies about Harry Potter? Lord of the Rings? the NFL?

Wow!... Just wow!

17.3 million? Yeah, definately something to be paranoid about compared to the 300+ million of US citizens that didn't attend a football game. You should look into WWE pro-wrestling numbers, it'll scare you more than this.

All your crusades against seemingly everything is begging the question, what do you do? Are you a monk in solitary confinement who's distanced themselves from the world, from the people of the world, to the point where you can't make connections with people whatsoever? That's the impression I'm starting to get from you. And it's kinda like the pharisees. The pharisees couldn't connect to the common people. They were too busy with their spirits of religiousity, where all they could see was what was not of God, but they couldn't see anything that was of God. And as such, Jesus rebuked them on a number of occassions. I hope you haven't fallen into that group.

It's like Odysseus (the pagan) said about the sirens: ἴδμεν δ' ὅσσα γένηται ἐπὶ χθονὶ πουλυβοτείρῃ ὣς φάσαν ἱεῖσαι ὄπα κάλλιμον αὐτὰρ ἐμὸν κῆρ ἤθελ' ἀκουέμεναι λῦσαί τ' ἐκέλευον ἑταίρους ὀφρύσι νευστάζω

Yep a occult story that's it!
You won't find the Lord of the Rings in the occult section of the bookstore; you will find it in the fantasy section. There's a reason for that. :)

What the picture doesn't say is that they are all lined up to see one of the hot male stars of the film. It's probably not the book they are going wonky over. Notice the camera? LOL

I think Praus is definitely not like a Pharisee. These people were such hypocrites, I don't think we fully understand their hypocrisy today.

It might be hard for you to realise, but I think that we ignore a lot of evil today, because we have been desensitised to it. Praus has been highlighting some of the evils we have probably overlooked, as we are used to seeing them on a daily basis.

The pharisee comparison I was making was how the pharisees only point out what is wrong wrong wrong, and in the midst of all that, they miss what God is actually doing.

As for being desensitized, I do think that's a valid point and concern. I do also believe in over exagerating a problem.

Do these people think Wrestling is real too?
I don't know what anybody else thinks, just myself.
I think you should jump into the ring and see for yourself how "real" it is or isn't.
Then you would be qualified to comment on it.

I'm throwing some ideas out there so we can try to discern these things together, I'm not expecting to change anyone's mind. I'm not desensitized, I live in Los Angeles and I've been noticing the mammon obsession for a long while.

I ran away from Jesus Christ for more than 30 years--I know very well what the world looks like when you live outside of the word of God--it's brutal and it gets worse every year. Today is October 14, I have 16 months alcohol-free today--that's from drinking to vomiting every day for years.

Daily rigorous Bible study seems to be critical to my continuing sobriety. I can't get that kind of healing from any other text or anything else I've ever run across. Even my atheist friends see the fruits of this--18 months ago they wondered (behind my back) if I was about to die.

I hope and pray we are all seeking the Blood of the Lamb daily-- that's what I preach--because that's what really keeping me alive (and saved).

I'm going post some documents about Halloween instead because it's arriving soon.
Oh, goody!

Then in December you can post some documents on the Pagan origins of Christmas,
and how no "true Christian" would participate in such abominable festivities.

Can't wait.

Would the Almighty Lord himself sit and watch it for entertainment?
2 Peter 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

You don't ever have to heed a warning.

Cool! I just recently learned about satanic Santa at http://www.av1611.org, so thanks so much for pointing me to that website. :)

Of all the Bible perversions, the NKJV may be the most insidious, because it is a masterful work of deception, with a trusted name. It's not new, and it is certainly not the King James Version.
