I don't think God relates to any nation at all. I think it's on an individual level period. Not withstanding that God relates to the body of believers as a nation.
God had a covenant with Israel since Mount Sinai, all the way to the book of Acts. It was clearly stated in the Scripture.

Yet many who were there did not receive the promise of the covenant, and many who are not even of that blood line have and will receive the benefit of that promise.

Ungodliness, hatred, blasphemy, sexual immortality, murder, corruption, pestilence.....Is America under God’s judgment? As a person of faith, I cannot deny that the answer is yes.

With all the chaos that seems to consuming and growing throughout the country, I am reminded of how God finally had enough of the Israelites wickedness.

My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children”
Hosea 4:6

I live in a state that has completely abandoned any notion or reverence for Jesus. Anything called good is shamed. Anything evil is embraced. Of course there are still many God fearing people here, but our number continue to decline.

Can we as nation repent and call on God’s mercy? The people of Nineveh repented and mourned at the preaching of Jonah and God forgive them. Can we also? Sadly I don’t see that happening.

“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
2 Chronicles 7: 14
Good day, Aerials1978!

I would add that, all nations are coming under judgment and not just America. This is why the wrath of God via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments is coming and what the majority of the book of Revelation is about. This is also why the Lord is going to first remove those righteous who believe in Him from the earth before He begins to pour out His wrath.

Yes, there were many ways Jews could be cut off from that covenant of Law.

For our purpose here, when Israel rejected the prophet that Moses said God will raise for the nation, which refers to Christ Jesus, they are cut off for the lack of faith, and hence did not receive the promise.

Acts 3:
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

But you do agree that, in time past, God did had a covenant with the nation Israel correct?

No one has for over 2000 years, it is unknown when anyone will again
