Isaiah
40
1 .) Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
2 .) Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins.
3 .) The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 .) Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5 .) And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

29 .) And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 .) And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 .) And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

On a personal note.......this is the first day in a very long time that I can actually say I am not in pain so much as just in discomfort. When you spend your days at a pain level of 6 to 8, and it suddenly goes down to 4 or so.......what a blessing it is. One thing I have noticed today however is my vision is blurred. That is a side effect of the whole mess I am living with, but today it seems to be more than normal. Still, I can live with that.......given the far lower pain level.......

3 .) The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 .) I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

i want to praise and thank the Lord for the little things wc i often normally take for granted. help me to taste and see that You are truly good, and You want to correct me each time i seem to come to a dead end. help me to appreciate the effort others take to remind, to uplift, also to rebuke me when needed. thank You also, Lord for those who press the like button, just to say or indicate they've read a post or comment, when i cannot acknowledge them one by one.

Wish i could... takes such effort now-- even stressful instead of being a quiet moment. I just had that scanned outside before i lose a reminder of something i worked on. but i do kind of miss it, for when i look outside the jeepney while stuck in traffic, for example, i stare at a potted bamboo outside a house and wonder if i could do that. so many leaves, colors in shadows and i think, i could do a few leaves or a stem-- but the whole thing?? not good with colors either, just used pencils before. grasses fascinate me though, so maybe i can try again when there is lots of time-- and when would that be.
