So you want every teen to leave the city limits if they masterbate?
Why is it that when you bring up this topic, you result to assuming one is forcing teens to self-gratify?

The song of Solomon chapter in the NKJV says :
The law is clear, it's only an issue if you get caught.
The eyes of the Lord are everywhere. One should not think they will not get caught. If they fear the Lord.

So you want every teen to leave the city limits if they masterbate?
why do you care?
the teens don't care, they will still go right ahead and do it anyways.
they don't feel one bit guilty either.
so, why do you actually care?
you seem a little way too concerned about what others are doing privately, and they don't care one bit what I think nor you, they are still doing it.
so, why do you care?
they don't care that you really care about this.
and honestly, you should not care what teenage boys are doing.

Because way too many Christians try to make them feel guilty. Those Christians are trying to put guilt trips on them.

This law was from GOD. He was showing compassion, something the church needs to learn.

God wanted us to procreate, not get all hot and bothered like you've been watching months worth of porn where nothing around you, even the fish, want to move, for fear they might become fair game.
So once you have 3 or 4 kids, do you stop having sex?

Well yes, it is an uncleanness issue moreso, it is still a sexual sin as well because it pertains to the sexual anatomical parts as well as the fluids and an sexual act, though the sex acts don't neccessarily always have to be part of it (ie: wet dreams for males, for females the period) are all also sexual uncleanneses and more minor sexual sins that are regulated and have biblical prescriptions for maintaining cleanliness. Though yes, because the issue is more to do with cleanliness and really is on an individual level whereas most the more grave sexual sins involve multiple people, the prescription in this case for this sin is water and abstinence and repentance.. Compare to the more serious sexual sins like cheating or whoredom in which case the prescriptions is to put away the blood of the wicked from the land. Indeed the uncleanliness factor as well as the sexual factors are all linked and thus Adulteries; pollutions. This is the whole basis of the concept of the adulteries, and there are many forms of the adulteries and various ways to expiate them. If you've studied the Bible close to as much as I have then you would know easily what adulteries are, all their diferent forms and scenarios, and the links to cleanliness and uncleanliness. Large portions of Law are devoted to thoroughly outlining this. And we haven't really even touched the prophets and spiritual dimensions to this yet, which frankly are much more severe than the Law when you start weighing an eternity into the hellfire into consideration and are found the New Testament, not the Old.
WOW, you really hate sex, don't you. GOD created sex to be enjoyed in a marriage, but you don't want that.

The REAL man of God flees from sin.

People want to attain the salvation Jesus has but not give up their pet sins.

People want to keep recreational drug use and yet claim Christ
People want to keep sexual perversions and immorality but claim Christ.
People want to get revenge and yet claim Christ...as if it's a "good guy" certification.

But none of these things are acceptable.

When you claim Christ you claim to be Christ's SLAVE. Not His co-worker...not a hired hand...not even a foreman of his followers ranks....the lowest of the lowest slave. It means God's property...like an accessory or furniture. Not worthy for every luxury and avarice.

God doesn't NEED us....merely wants us because He is kind and good.
Not because we deserve salvation as a reward.
But living a life of faith requires SACRIFICE. Do some people claim to believe but have NO FRUITS in keeping with a life that fears God? Licensing sin is how it starts.

More and more every day.

Can we allow our minds to think of a sanctified and fully redeemed sexuality? What did God have in mind there? Im sure it was good as Adam pretty much wrote Eve a poem.
“The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭23‬ ‭NIV‬‬
we know that Eve was made for just more than sex . I’m pretty sure “help mate “ was a poor translation and it means something far deeper

“One flesh” is far more about spiritual union with another that is initiated by sex . Sex isn’t the definition of one flesh but it begins that union. Which is why we’re warned not to unite our bodies with a prostitute. Soul ties are a thing and I’ve experienced ungodly ones.

“Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.””
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Song of Songs is also very sensual poetry once you get past the old world language barriers. Has anyone done a study on the Songs? Very wild stuff and revealing there is more to sexuality than the act itself. It’s primarily about intimacy between a husband and wife. Not just the physical act but playful banter, the anticipation, enticement, the honor, the joys, the relationship wisdom and warnings given from the woman to the daughters of Jerusalem all culminating to the moment of marriage is consummated. It’s rather beautiful and it just shows us also how far humanity has fallen because it’s so far from our daily experiences of sex. I believe We have fleeting moments where maybe just for a brief moment our souls get a glimpse of being in the Garden with Eve before the fall and in a flash it’s over. Really anticipating what fully restored sexuality is going to be like it must be something.

John that is so sad you feel that way. I think scripture points out very clear God delights in us as redeemed saints. We are His beloved children first and foremost. We Know He desires mercy over sacrifice. And relationship over service . I’m pretty sure you might take a read on John 15:15🙁

what about in Revelation where Jesus punished Jezebel with the death of her children...and the mother of harlots of Babylon

David WAS punished, the child he had with Bathesheba died soon after birth. David repented though and then did marry Bathesheba and then had Solomon. He didnt leave Bathsheba unmarried. I am not sure what they would have done had Uriah not been killed though. Bathsheba would have been found out and stoned most probably.

The children of adultery -illegitimate, or what used to be called bastards...do not have a blessing on their lives and often their lives are cut short because of this. Abortions often happen because of adultery tho nobody seems to mention this....

That is a stunningly stupid comment. Each of us pay for our own sin, not our parents. All kinds of people have been born out of wedlock and gone on to be preachers, teachers, politicians, etc and had God's blessing on their lives. smh

Try reading John 15:14 first....the preceeding verse.

If we do as He commands we get to be named as friends....

In the Biblical times when someone owed a debt that he couldn't pay the person was sold into slavery to pay the debt.

My debt was sin...
Jesus paid for it with his own blood.
So I'm happy to be God's slave.

But are you serving from the right heart? Being first a worshipper? Jesus wants us to have Mary hearts not be Marthas. We’re not to forget our earlier stages of the faith simply sitting at the feet of Jesus in favor of the later. A slave must still be a lover and a worshiper first and foremost.

That's not what I am saying and I think you're old enough to know that. There is a correct way of sex/marriage like God made which is one man and one woman for life loyally under God, and there is a bunch of sins and uncleanesses when that way is transgressed or put into aberration, and these are all regarded as adulteries, remembering again adultery means pollution, especially in a sexual context. Yes, like you wonder in the OP there is multiple adulteries and levels of it as well as differing ways to expiate and deal with the sin to cleanse it. It's quite a thorough topic in the Bible, and it is in the Bible, it is not hidden, it is not written by me, but I do know what it says and I do know how God feels about this issue, and if I were to say otherwise then I would be a liar and only deceiving myself and you also.

It seems to me, some of you think just having sexual desires is a sin. "Teen hormones affect teenagers' moods, emotions, and impulses as well as their body. The mood swings that teens experience are caused by fluctuations in estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone—the sex hormones. These same teen hormones will also affect the way they think about dating and sex. ".....this is why during the time of Jesus, they married at the time of puberty. GOD gave us hormones for a reason and it wasn't to stifle them.

Mary and Martha story has got nothing to do with this.

The rich young ruler does.
"Sell ALL, give the money away and follow Jesus" does have everything to do with this subject.

Burn the ships, light a match and forget the old life....remember Lot's wife?...walk out from the dust and into a new life and day.

Was the rich young ruler a normative situation? Is there anything inherently Holy about poverty? Nope. Money is not the source of all evil but the love of money is evil. Perhaps no one desires money more than those who lack it. If otherwise how you you classify Joseph of Aramethiea and the rich ladies who supported Jesus’ ministry? The surrendered life is one predicated on ,built on love and worship. So what is behind your motivation for service? Obligation? Duty? Are you trying to repay an already forgiven sin debt rather than simply rest in His love for you? is your service the outflow of Love and worship towards the Father and Jesus . God loves the joyful giver not one who begrudgingly gives or gives from grit teeth. Gods after your heart man. He loves you intimately and he wants you to first and foremost love him back before serving.
