The law says the punishment for adultery is death. Moses gave reasons for divorce and remarriage. Jesus said "It was because of the hardiness of your hearts" Jesus called divorce and remarriage adultery, but never called for any punishment. Are there different types of adultery. It seems the two are treated differently.
Jesus said that Moses gave them Divorce, not God. Moses was Gods Instrument of Mercy and Grace to stand between Him and The People. God is Just AND Merciful. There is still only one Adultry in a Jewish "Covenant Marriage". No gentile has a "Covenant Marriage". When Paul Deals with Divorce between a Christian and a Nonbeliever, remember....he is not speaking to Gentiles because he references Levitical Law. Remember the First Generation Christians were Jews and Law was Culture. It was hard for all of them to give that up when we Gentiles came along. John settled the issue when Gentile Christians wanted (New) Commandments for Gentiles. That would mean a new set of Laws because the Laws were for Jews. John said "I cant give you any new Laws, there are none, only Grace." " So if you want some, Dont drink Blood and dont Fornicate". The Gentile Church is under a Covenant of Grace where the Law is concerned. Sometimes we Gentiles try to understand the Jews and their Laws(Culture), its hard.

For the single Christian sex is about getting married, not purity. Where did Jesus and Paul say you had to be pure before getting married?
Great idea sex answer man. You should put that in your book.

Song 2:3 (The wife is acting upon her husband) “Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.”
Song 4:16 (The husband is acting upon the wife) “Awake, O north wind, and come, wind of the south; make my garden breathe out fragrance. Let its spices be wafted abroad. May my beloved come into his garden and eat its choice fruits!”
Song of Songs 5:1 “I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh along with my balsam. I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey; I have drunk my wine and my milk. (God then speaking to the husband and wife as lovers as He views and enjoys their sexual celebration) Eat, friends; Drink and imbibe deeply, O lovers.”.....that is NOT courtship.
that is your application but it is not the interpretation

All sexual impurity is sin. But taking the impurity to an actual affair has many terrible consequences that you and your loved ones will endure in this life. Likewise, a pornography addiction has ugly consequences in this life. But spiritually, I believe it is just as bad to harbor secret lusts even without an affair or an addiction to hardcore pornography. And in this day, there is a lot of “softcore” pornography imbedded in our culture. God allows us to have what we seek, so be careful in what we seek and constantly call on the Holy Spirit for help.

So you want every teen to leave the city limits if they masterbate?
That's the LAW.
Meaning today it is more spiritual than physical....but you are out and away from God when it's done. Meaning that you are not counted as one of us by God.

It's a planned sin.

If you believe masturbating is a sin, because the person it THINKING about sex, than think about chocolate cake. So there, it's no longer a sin.

Now you're making just thinking about sex is a sin. Having sexual desires is not a sin.

sex is SELF PLEASURE.
what is SELF to a Holy God? Filthy Rags!

This all boils down to TWO things concerning You:
1. You are Rebellious against God!
2. You Seek SELF PLEASURE!

ALL SINS, not just Sexual, begin with SELF PLEASURE.

You are so backwards, I am shocked, you haven't ran head first into your own back side.

If chocolate cake provides you with sexual stimulation you got HUGE problems.

But the Torah is clear whether it's nocturnal or intentional you are OUT.

Maybe you should READ THE SCRIPTURES before deciding/declaring what God allows or does not allow.

Now you're making ANY sexual stimulation a sin. Where does it say that in the bible?

This is very sad. You're making just have sexual desires a sin. Try tell that to a group of teens, that masturbation is a sin.
It was not a sexual sin, it was about cleanliness. You really need to study the bible.

Well yes, it is an uncleanness issue moreso, it is still a sexual sin as well because it pertains to the sexual anatomical parts as well as the fluids and an sexual act, though the sex acts don't neccessarily always have to be part of it (ie: wet dreams for males, for females the period) are all also sexual uncleanneses and more minor sexual sins that are regulated and have biblical prescriptions for maintaining cleanliness. Though yes, because the issue is more to do with cleanliness and really is on an individual level whereas most the more grave sexual sins involve multiple people, the prescription in this case for this sin is water and abstinence and repentance.. Compare to the more serious sexual sins like cheating or whoredom in which case the prescriptions is to put away the blood of the wicked from the land. Indeed the uncleanliness factor as well as the sexual factors are all linked and thus Adulteries; pollutions. This is the whole basis of the concept of the adulteries, and there are many forms of the adulteries and various ways to expiate them. If you've studied the Bible close to as much as I have then you would know easily what adulteries are, all their diferent forms and scenarios, and the links to cleanliness and uncleanliness. Large portions of Law are devoted to thoroughly outlining this. And we haven't really even touched the prophets and spiritual dimensions to this yet, which frankly are much more severe than the Law when you start weighing an eternity into the hellfire into consideration and are found the New Testament, not the Old.

God wanted us to procreate, not get all hot and bothered like you've been watching months worth of porn where nothing around you, even the fish, want to move, for fear they might become fair game.
