People get so focused on the method of his going. They then try to match that method to the method of his coming.
But the point of the cloud, wasn't to show he was going to return in a cloud too.
The point of the cloud ascension was to show the fulfilling of Daniel 7, which says he'd ascend in a cloud and take his kingdom.

When the angels say they'll see him the same way he left, they're not talking about clouds, they're talking about status.
That cloud indicated he was taking his kingdom, just as Daniel 7 showed.
So when they say we'll see him come just as he went, they're saying we'll see him coming as the ruling king.

Do ya really think this is about clouds?
I mean really?
It's about his kingdom, of which he's king.
Where or what is the kingdom of the Lord of glory? This is important to understand, as it pertains to our Identity & our inheritance as the new man, the new creature God is currently forming.

13*Who hath delivered US from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.

7*But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.

8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (the cross).

This has to do with the "all in all" and the marriage of heaven & earth, "the manifold wisdom of God", "according to the purpose of Him that worketh all things after the counsel of His own will."

The Earth is His footstool. There is the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God & the kingdom of the Son- There are different realms and bodies that will occupy these places of election. Christ shared in all body types for a reason.

Every word has meaning, yes, the clouds are for God's doctrine.

[h=3]Hebrews 8:1-4[/h]Living Bible (TLB)

8 What we are saying is this: Christ, whose priesthood we have just described, is our High Priest and is in heaven at the place of greatest honor next to God himself. [SUP]2 [/SUP]He ministers in the temple in heaven, the true place of worship built by the Lord and not by human hands.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And since every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, Christ must make an offering too. [SUP]4 [/SUP]The sacrifice he offers is far better than those offered by the earthly priests. (But even so, if he were here on earth he wouldn’t even be permitted to be a priest because down here the priests still follow the old Jewish system of sacrifices.)

For now this is who we are: citizens of heaven, Placed back here as ambassadors representing the love, joy, peace and righteousness found through the reception of the Holy Spirit of God at the resurrected Christ
Patiently waiting for his return, whenever that day comes, are you ready?

Your misappropriation of the Scripture, did not address what I was asking 1still_waters... but, thanks.

And, as far as what I have reposted of your quote, what?!

Please, stop yourself. "placed back here", no, not a good use of words or thought pattern.

If this is what you are going to do with the Scripture (Col 1:13) I am not interested in discussion with you. You do not know and you do not understand our identity in Christ as the new creature, ask God to help you. Set down your preconceived beliefs (outside of believing the gospel of your salvation), stop using all materials outside of one bible translation and ask God to help you while you study Paul's epistles for this doctrine of our identity. I am being sincere, not rude, just so you know.

Jesus’ departure was observed only by his loyal followers. As with the transfiguration, there was no public display; the world in general was not even aware of what had occurred. The same would be true when Christ returned in Kingdom power. Today, only those with spiritual discernment realize that Jesus is present in kingly power.-Luke 17:20

Welcome sister, we all see differently yet the same for we all that do believe are:
1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Each of us when first born by belief are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Born like an apple in and through the tree branch. We are as well, when first born as an apple we are perfect, just not matured yet.
So each of us grows together in different stages to maturity, and I am not claiming to be more mature than anyone else. I just believe God at God's word and know I can trust God to cause me to stand in anything thing that I have received as truth and is not truth.
I know the truth sets one free. Therefore anytime I am in bondage then I know somewhere somehow error has gotten in the way of truth that is to set one free
So I rethink truth and trust God to cause me to see truth, and where the error is to get rid of it and not be in bondage anymore
separating error from truth is what God does if we will listen to that hidden Holy Spirit of our new heart that Father gave us through the resurrected Christ
Love you back, how can one not when they see the love of Father first through Son
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
The above is a response to: Not fro anyone to create by trying to do
