In spite of the Christian spirit of love and fellowship you display, the truth is, to my embarrassment, I mistook the post by PaulMack to be one by TonyJay. Not being perfect, and given my current medical situation, and how hard I struggle to keep my thoughts from fracturing long enough to comment here, I do not know what it is like (as you surely must) to have never mixed up posts/posters, or made a mistake.
To TonyJay: I apologize for the mixup, and for wrongly thinking it was your post.
As for KenAllan, mayhaps you should learn a little more about people here. Had you taken the time to do so, you would know how miserably wrong you are about that. There are those here you could ask............but, then, it seems your mind is made up.

Too many false christians, which the Scriptures calls Tares and false prophets, love to have the light shine on them. Its those who grab the Limelight to highlight how by their own works and efforts they have received and maintain their Salvation by their Works.
This this why they are against once saved always saved Theology.
OSAS puts the Limelight on God. Where as working for their Salvation puts the Limelight on them!

My judgement or my lack of understanding of Scripture is not effected, thanks for your loving and Christian concern. What is effected (at times) is my loss of my train of thought.

It's interesting that you mentioned drugs. In Revelation 9:21, we read - and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts. The Greek word for "sorceries" is - pharmakeía Strong's #5331 (from pharmakeuō, "administer drugs") – properly, drug-related sorcery, like the practice of magical-arts, etc. (A. T. Robertson).

Tares are anything of the flesh (including OUR flesh). False prophets are people who don't understand the truth. There's spiritual babes and there's mature Christians. Even so, the playing field is level because Jesus said we're one body.
No doubt there are some who love to make a show of themselves and like to feel important, just like some children do. But I hardly think you can slap a "self-righteous" label on someone just because they don't see eye to eye with OSAS. Only God gives us spiritual insight about his truth, so none of us can take credit for what he reveals to us. We have to trust him for ourselves and for one another, don't you agree? Share the truth, encourage one another, treat each other the way we want to be treated, love one another in the spirit of Christ.
We all need each other. Sometimes we plant seeds, sometimes we water, but God gives the increase (makes us grow).
