When you decide to eat 12 at one time? Not sure the point is in this. You're talking to a food addict, by the way.
That was the whole point of the experiment to prove his mind was not given over to beer/chocolate but still stayed upon the Lord. Sirk found his limit and stopped. People went circus maximus.

I can't control how other people react. The only issues I had were the passive aggressiveness and the pride/arrogance that came later on, along with rationalizing said pride and arrogance. What's done is done, though.

I dont take instructions from you. I take my instructions from the Lord and his word.

In all the time I've been a member of CC, you are the only person I've seen be ugly to Kodiak. He is one of the kindest, nicest people on this site. You need to take a time-out or something. :p

I feel kind of funny. I definitely know that I shouldn't drive. I feel pretty happy for the most part. I've had some pretty nice peace as of late and I didn't need alcohol to numb anything.

I've been around people who get mouthy or cocky when they drink. They think they are the hottest/funniest guy or gal in the room. Lol. I feel like I've made some pretty cool connections on here even though I was so transparent about what I was doing. For the most part I feel connected to people although there are a few who chose to lash out and judge me. This is a good place with a lot of good people and I thank those of you who supported me and stuck up for me.

I think one of the most important skills a person can learn is speaking truth to themselves. The truth of what Christ says you are. What I have discovered is that even christians will tear you down and try to bring you under submission. To make themselves feel comfortable about themselves. People who have screwed up their own lives will point the finger at you to make themselves have some comfort in themselves....even if it is a false temporary comfort....because it is painful for them to look at the destruction they have caused in the hearts around them....whether it be from alcohol, or emotional/religious tyranny or any number of things. Anyway....thanks to all for participating. Lol

lol Sirk is your sense of humor getting things riled up? People who don't know you or your sense of humor may be a bit upset with you ;b
Humor? Yes. But, a superb genius at drawing out lawlessness from the 'good' side of our flesh. IOW, self-righteousness.

Sirk is not what you might think I have known him for quite a while. Also if we choose for the lawlessness of our flesh to come out we only have ourselves to blame

Some people are just so fearful and unsure about God's love for them that they feel they must appease God by making it their life's purpose to "correct" others. They think they're gaining God's favor yet they have no peace. They're all the time restless and critical and there's no joy in their posts. They don't preach Christ, they preach themselves. :p

For all practical purposes....I was very intentional about what I did in this thread....even though I ended up with 4 beers in me. Lol. Gr8grace...we really need to meet up and have a beer sometime....your'e only 5 hours away and I do end up in Butte from time to time... a really good pastor friend of mine lives there....and you made my heart smile calling me a genius.....I'm not, but it was a really cool thing for you to say.

Yeah, I know Kris. And He has a style that brings out the self righteous crowd. You know that is lawlessness right? It isn't Him having 4 or more beers. Its the crowd that says " You SINNER! I would never do that(and they probably do) and you best repent you apostate!!!!!!!!!!"

Its what we are watching here.

This thread is boring and past 20 pages. Have you solved the problem yet? Have you answered the question yet? Is drinking a sin?
And now we're going to 26 pages, & since you've stayed it's no longer boring: You've managed to turn some against you, others have sided with you because you're their hero that that's done no wrong, & the whole thread is now upside-down.

Congratulations would be in order, but I'm not the type of person to side with a successful trouble-maker.

Just imagine..... if you had left at this posting, none of this would have happened. Since you were so bored, why didn't you? Most people do.....

orrrrrr, just maybe people are mature and intelligent enough to form their own opinions? And they just happen to be in agreement with his?

Worry about yourself. And when you get upset because I said that, don't try and say it wasn't aimed at me cause it partly was because you only gave two options to sum up everyone in this entire thread.

I'm gonna log off tho and I truly hope I can mean it this time. Night all.

It obviously didn't affect you much, 'cause you're still drinking.
I thought about sharing my story but I decided not too....and you're wrong....I'm making a grilled cheese sandwich cuz I'm hungry. Might even heat up some tomato soup. Lol
