that should make all of us think really hard. really hard.
Probably because most of us agree on missionaries, so there's not a lot to say?

All the "hard" topics are where the discussions happen, because we don't all agree on them. Too many nuances..

We all know what the people said but if we have to trust in them Jesus was not the Son of God and a sinner.

I will rather trust Him and not the people :)
Jesus drank. Just because He drank we do not assume He was a drunkard any more than we assume He was a glutton when He ate. So calling drinking a sin is clearly wrong, not that you did that in your post. Some people have really made it clear that they think drinking a sin when obviously it is not. To say drinking is a sin is to call Jesus Christ a sinner.

"The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say,
'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors
and sinners.' But wisdom is proved right by her deeds."

It is "Steves bar."
I think you're missing the point. I'm not comfortable in walking into a bar. I am comfortable, though, in going to a restaurant. One can distinguish between a bar and restaurant. I'm going to start living by a three strikes and I'm out policy, I'll try three times to get my point across. After the third time, I step out of the batter's box. Now's that time.

I'm sorry you're feeling misunderstood.

Really? I went to a bar, it was called "Steve's bar" It is not a restaurant.

I am not going to live in a fantasy world and call it a restaurant cause it just doesn't suit my "feeling" or because someone might get the wrong idea. It is what it is, a bar. And they serve deep fat fries and burgers.........and Ice cold beer.

I get that you don't want to go into a bar. I got that on your first curve ball.

I know of a man that is a bar tender in England and the Lord has him there to bring people into the kingdom. He has gotten many of them in there saved and it wasn't by telling them they should not drink. He showed them Christ.

That "new wine" in scripture is not alcoholic is *almost* a convincing argument.
But it's contrary to scripture; it's a prohibitionist lie.
There are perfectly good Hebrew and Greek words for "juice" that are simply not being used in any of these passages.

Ooook, what are those words & where are they in the Bible?

I have a question for everyone..... Can you find drinking "grape juice" in the Bible? Numbers 6 is excluded fo it speaks of the Nazarite vow. NT scriptures speaking of wine presses are also excluded, for nobody's drinking in those verses. Use ANY serious Bible translation you like.
I don't believe this question has been answered yet.

I'm turning 26 tomorrow and celebrating with vodka, sue me! Seriously though, its all about holding your liquor. Some people just shouldn't drink because they cannot handle it.

We did actually, the answer is "page 25".
No, it hasn't..... Because everybody knows they can't..... but that's okay, keep on drinking vodka, run to your bars, have your parties. After all, it's okay, right? I'd like to hear some more stories like the bartender witnessing to his customers. So what else do you do?

You know how to ruin a party? Invite a legalist.

This is biblical too. Do you know where it is? He did get invited eventually, but not until everybody was good and drunk.

Water and grape juice.... Yes he did :) but never ever ever something with alcohol in it my dear sister because he would then be in contravention of the Old Testament and as we all agree he is the only one without sin :)

Please show scriptural evidence of that "fact"..... I'll wait.
