And your faith and church are perfect.
Can you show in this chat room where any church claimed to be perfect? The ONLY people I have ever seen claim this are roman catholics and eastern orthodox.

This is nothing more than the return of the donatists. They believed that if anyone or anything, even the Church, had even the slightest imperfection they were lost and could never be saved. I have condemned this. I said so, time and time again. And yet the return is to respond as if I have said you were wrong.
So you admit your pope is in error? or do you not? And if he is in error. Can you explain how an infallible pope can make error?

Southern Baptist convention believes according to their doctrine that if you're not fully immersed in water, you're not saved.
Pentecostals hold tongues to be proof of salvation.
Episcopalians allow practicing homosexuals to be pastors and ministers.
Many nondenominational churches claim a prosperity gospel.
Many charismatic churches hold that homosexuals are born damned.

During the rule.of Elizabeth the First, Catholic priests and nuns were burnt at the stake and hung.
Martin Luther fathered two children out of wedlock and was accused of murdering a man prior to his entrance into the monastery.
John Calvin personally ordered the burning of cathedrals while people were still inside.
John Wesley believed that if one were in the pure presence of God, one should have an orgasm.
No Christian interceded to help the Armenian Christians being slaughtered by Muslims. They were saved by Salah Al'Din, a Muslim.
Serbian Orthodox raped and murdered Bosnian Muslims in order to ethnically cleanse Serbia.
Russian Orthodox have shown a blind eye to the KGB and the Russian organized crime syndicates.

Guess what?! Those are their specks.

I HAVE MY OWN PLANK TO DEAL WITH. Too many Catholics worship Mary. I preach against it. I teach against it. There is a Church worth saving. LET US DEAL WITH IT. At the very least, let us try. Stop being a nest of vipers snapping at every turn.

Jesus had more compassion and patience.
Jesus drove false religionists from the temple, called them white washed coffins filled with dead men's bones as well as hypocrites and followers of their father the devil.......as well as the fact that the disciples they made were two fold the children of hell....Jesus has no patience for false religion and or false teachers....

No this is not a personal attack on YOU, but rather on a religion that is obviously contrary to the truth so don't be so easily offended man!

Been spoken of many times, How many baptismal chats do we have here?

Pentecostals hold tongues to be proof of salvation.
Same as above.
Episcopalians allow practicing homosexuals to be pastors and ministers.
Same as above
Many nondenominational churches claim a prosperity gospel.
Same as above
Many charismatic churches hold that homosexuals are born damned.
Same, You act as if these issues have never been confronted before. That all we do is walk around bashing your church. Maybe if you would read. you would see these issues are spoken of alot. Alot of heated arguments arise over them.

Yes, these are horrible things. But does this excuse your church killing millions for centuries? SInce when does two wrongs make a right, or is it ok for your church to do what Islam is doing today in the name of God?

ps..
King david committed rape and murder
Abraham committed adultery

No one has ever claimed a man of God would be perfect. Again, It is not all about your church, It is about God and his gospel. Which makes imperfect people right with God and saves them in-spite of themselves.

Jesus did not have any compassion with the church of Israel who claimed to be the church of God. He called them out every time he could. And it was not very prety. WHy do you think he protested against their doctrines, and man made books?

Jesus was the first protestant, who reformed the Jewish church.

Yes other denominations have errors.
Here's the distinction.

The Roman Catholic leader claims a lofty title, with the claim that he can speak direct revelation of God.
The Roman Catholic church attributes deity attributes to Mary.
Their own head theologian the Pope even encouraged this as I've shown in my list already.

These things are significantly worse than the little laundry list you gave.
Your very church, along with its Pope who claims to be THE VICAR OF CHRIST, has indeed given attributes to Mary that only belong to God.

Not to mention Peter as well...to the bolded above and I agree with the rest!

I think what you're doing is creating two camps.

1. Roman Catholic
2. Non-Roman Catholics.

You then pinpoint errors in each denomination, then toss them ALL into the Non-Roman Catholic group, and basically proclaim, "See you have errors too, it's not just my camp."

You portray it as if we're stuck in the second camp you created, thus somehow we'll have to always stay in it, just like you stay in the RCC camp despite their HUGE heresy.

The thing is, there is more than one camp in the second camp you created

If my church/denom said gay clergy was fine, I'd leave.
If my church denom still condoned burning people at the stake, I'd leave.

So yes, one church in the second camp you created may allow gays, or burn people at the stake. You forgot more than one camp exists in the second camp you created.

You on the other hand are in a major camp that gives deity attributes to Mary, which is so hideous that it distracts whom we call on for help, forgiveness and salvation itself. I've shown that this isn't a fringe belief/activity.

If a church in my non-Catholic camp gave all of those deity attributes to Mary, I'd leave.
This is major heresy man, and your camp continues to perpetuate it.
Doesn't your ongoing fellowship sort of give some level of approval to it?
Especially to such an extreme thing?
It's not just error, it's heresy.
It does distract from true focus on God.

This is the one practice I openly challenge. What St. Louis meant by this original thirty day consecration vs. what many of my brothers and sisters have turned it into is blasphemy. I stand with many Catholics, such as Matthew Kelly, and often argue over this practice.

I can only hope that our voice will be that of Paul scolding Peter.
Brother Thomist.

1. W
e promise to become dependent on Mary in all things.
surrender to Mary for all is serious crime.

My church may not perfect. but it is serious. It replace Jesus with Mary. If I were you I leave catholic and come to Jesus.

Brother your savior is Jesus not the church.

What happen if I surrender all to Mohammad?

Are you going to say nobody perfect. it wrong but it OK?

Brother, as son as I say I promise to depend on Mohammad in all thing, I automatically denounce Jesus as my only Lord.

by that time I am no longer Jesus follower.

It's not just not perfect but it is rebellion against Jesus.

ThomastColin,

I am Pentecostal, but our denomination doesn't believe the tongues thing like you said. Those are Jesus-only's.
You are right about many inaccuracies in the Protestant church..... & there are many more. But remember that ALL of them believe in Christ for Salvation, & pray to the Father in Jesus' name. If Catholics pray to Mary, then Mary is their god.

Please understand, the level of glory given to Mary puts her at godhood. That's heresy in anyone's religion.

Every person that's posted here against this false doctrine could also cover a dozen other false doctrines in the RCC. Since the Pope & the high order of cardinals (whatever it's called) can/add/subtract/substitute/change a whole doctrine in the Bible, the RCC thru the years have become worse & worse. Even you believe this Mary doctrine is wrong. Making Mary God is just another way to preach another Jesus, because she does it all.

The Pope can also change and revise the bible at his whim. Paul said let them be accursed and John warned against it in Rev. because according to RCC the Pope is Jesus's replacement on Earth which is totally not biblical.

Pantecostal, Baptist, Methodist etc. have they own believe system, but they claim bible is the only source for their doctrine. At least they have the same text book.

Pray to the same Jesus. No body perfect. Yes indeed.

But if they go to far, we better leave them and go to Jesus.

Catholic not only use bible as the text book, but also the traditions that lead to surrender to Mary.

Look at the doctrine, It is obvious replace Jesus.

I hope my precious catholic brother and sister aware. Who behind this doctrine.

Lucifer did the same thing. He rebel and tray to replace God.

Seem to me Lucifer is behind catholic doctrine. It my hurt our catholic brother and sister, but it is very very important to consider and investigate, why the principle of catholic doctrine look like Lucifer scandal?

All sources below come straight from Roman Catholic sources. This is not from anti-Catholic propaganda sites.
----------------------------
SUMMARY
There is a Roman Catholic practice called Total Consecration to the Immaculate.
These three things are part of the practice.

1. We promise to become dependent on Mary in all things.
2. To offer all our prayers and oblations to God through Mary.
3. T
o seek every gift from God through Mary.
----------------------------
THE DETAILS WITH EVIDENCE
I came across a Roman Catholic term/practice today while doing research.
It involves offering up all prayers to God through Mary.
Not through Jesus, but through Mary.

I saw the term while reading about Pope Francis's visit to a religious community.

Ohhh Catholics. Sometimes you love them, sometimes you're just so pissed with them.

It is alright to truly love your mothers. BUT please "DON'T GIVE GOD A MOTHER"..

Okay, you guys are not happy with anything I write. How about I just start going online and bringing up threads over and over about Baptists. That would get me banned. About Pentecostals. Banned. About Methodists. Banned. So realize that 1stillwaters, you created the playing field. If we are unable to respond in any way, because everything we say is obviously a lie. RRealize you're the one who entered the conversation with preconceptions and already have judged us damned. I'll keep on trying to educate, and eventually I am probably gonna get banned. But I find it odd, that I try to explain, I try to not get angry because "it isn't personal." And yet, I'll bet that after I am gone. There will still be these posts about how Catholics are molesting children to raise them up to worship Satan. As ludicrous as that sounds, you'll still turn your head.

In the end, it is personal. Because when everything you respond to, and even when I stand up and explain that I agree about something, I'm deceiving. So, stop and honestly pray about how you actually come off. I don't know your intent, but your responses speak loudly that you will never stand by my side. God help me should the United States ever turn against Catholics, because sometimes I honestly wonder if it will be people on here who will light the fire that consumes my life.
Thomistcolin

It's not about making us happy. To us, Mary taking over the role of Jesus is the same news as America nukes Russia. It one big big big scary news

[h=3]The 16th appearance (25 March)[edit][/h]

Our Lady of Lourdes - Mary appearing atLourdes with Rosary Beads. The words on her halo are: 'Je suis l'Immaculée conception' (I am the Immaculate Conception).[SUP][13][/SUP] These are the words thatBernadette reported Mary said to her in the 16th apparition.

"I went every day for a fortnight, and each day I asked her who she was–and this petition always made her smile. After the fortnight I asked her three times consecutively. She always smiled. At last I tried for the fourth time. She stopped smiling. With her arms down, she raised her eyes to heaven and then, folding her hands over her breast she said, 'I am the Immaculate Conception.' Then I went back to M. le Curé to tell him that she had said she was the Immaculate Conception, and he asked was I absolutely certain. I said yes, and so as not to forget the words, I had repeated them all the way home."[SUP][14][/SUP]

The apparition did not identify herself until the 17th vision, although the townspeople who believed she was telling the truth
assumed she saw the Virgin Mary. Bernadette never claimed it to be Mary, calling what she saw simply "Aquerò" (or rather "that thing"), aquerò (pronounced [aˈk(e)ɾɔ]) being Gascon Occitan for that. Bernadette described the lady as wearing a white veil and a blue girdle; she had a golden rose on each foot and held a rosary of pearls. Lourdes apparitions - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

12. And Aseneth got up, and the man said to her, "Take off the black tunic you are wearing and the sackcloth round your waist, [14] and shake the ashes off your head, and wash your face with water. 13. And put on a new robe that you have never worn before, [15] and tie your bright girdle round your waist -- the double girdle of your virginity. 14. And then come back to me, and I will tell you what I have been sent to you to say." 15. And Aseneth went into the room where her treasure-chests and the finery for her adornment were; [16] and she opened her wardrobe and took out a new, fine robe, and she took off her black robe and put on the new and brilliant one. 16. And she untied the rope and the sackcloth round her waist; [17] and she put on the brilliant double girdle of her virginity -- one girdle round her waist and the other round her breast. 17. And she shook the ashes off her head, and washed her face with pure water, and covered her head with a fine and lovely veil.
[SIZE=+1]XV.[/SIZE] And she came back to the man; and when the man saw her he said to her, "Take now the veil off your head, for to-day you are a pure virgin and your head is like a young man's." 2. So she took it off her head; and the man said to her, "Take heart, Aseneth, [1] for lo, the Lord has heard the words of your confession. 3. Take heart, Aseneth, [2] your name is written in the book of life, and it will never be blotted out. 4. From to-day you will be made new, and refashioned, and given new life; and you shall eat the bread of life and drink the cup of immortality, and be anointed with the unction of incorruption. [3] 5. Take heart, Aseneth: [4] lo, the Lord has given you to Joseph to be his bride, and he shall be your bridegroom. 6. And you shall no more be called Aseneth, but 'City of Refuge' shall be your name; for many nations shall take refuge in you, and under your wings shall [5] many peoples [6] find shelter,[7] and within your walls those who give their allegiance to God in penitence will find security.
Joseph & Aseneth: Translated by David Cook
