I don't have a problem with you pointing out the errors in Protestant theology. They do need to be reformed. I just wonder which Protestant denomination holds "that homosexuals are born damned" as I have not heard that one before.

Oh and just as an aside, the Croatian Catholic Ustase really took the cake over the Serbs.

And your faith and church are perfect. This is nothing more than the return of the donatists. They believed that if anyone or anything, even the Church, had even the slightest imperfection they were lost and could never be saved. I have condemned this. I said so, time and time again. And yet the return is to respond as if I have said you were wrong.

Southern Baptist convention believes according to their doctrine that if you're not fully immersed in water, you're not saved.
Pentecostals hold tongues to be proof of salvation.
Episcopalians allow practicing homosexuals to be pastors and ministers.
Many nondenominational churches claim a prosperity gospel.
Many charismatic churches hold that homosexuals are born damned.

During the rule.of Elizabeth the First, Catholic priests and nuns were burnt at the stake and hung.
Martin Luther fathered two children out of wedlock and was accused of murdering a man prior to his entrance into the monastery.
John Calvin personally ordered the burning of cathedrals while people were still inside.
John Wesley believed that if one were in the pure presence of God, one should have an orgasm.
No Christian interceded to help the Armenian Christians being slaughtered by Muslims. They were saved by Salah Al'Din, a Muslim.
Serbian Orthodox raped and murdered Bosnian Muslims in order to ethnically cleanse Serbia.
Russian Orthodox have shown a blind eye to the KGB and the Russian organized crime syndicates.

Guess what?! Those are their specks.

I HAVE MY OWN PLANK TO DEAL WITH. Too many Catholics worship Mary. I preach against it. I teach against it. There is a Church worth saving. LET US DEAL WITH IT. At the very least, let us try. Stop being a nest of vipers snapping at every turn.

Jesus had more compassion and patience.

I am coming from my experience in witnessing to Roman Catholics. Everything that we challenge in the doctrine of Roman Catholicism does not mean that we should condemn Catholic people. Rather, we do this to expose the false doctrine in Roman Catholicism. So that those people who are following these such doctrines (maybe because of tradition, culture, pressure or confusion) might have a good reason to challenge their own belief and consider what is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH that the Bible is sayng.

Okay, you guys are not happy with anything I write. How about I just start going online and bringing up threads over and over about Baptists. That would get me banned. About Pentecostals. Banned. About Methodists. Banned. So realize that 1stillwaters, you created the playing field. If we are unable to respond in any way, because everything we say is obviously a lie. RRealize you're the one who entered the conversation with preconceptions and already have judged us damned. I'll keep on trying to educate, and eventually I am probably gonna get banned. But I find it odd, that I try to explain, I try to not get angry because "it isn't personal." And yet, I'll bet that after I am gone. There will still be these posts about how Catholics are molesting children to raise them up to worship Satan. As ludicrous as that sounds, you'll still turn your head.

In the end, it is personal. Because when everything you respond to, and even when I stand up and explain that I agree about something, I'm deceiving. So, stop and honestly pray about how you actually come off. I don't know your intent, but your responses speak loudly that you will never stand by my side. God help me should the United States ever turn against Catholics, because sometimes I honestly wonder if it will be people on here who will light the fire that consumes my life.
Hey, let me give you some motivation. I read what you stated, and I will listen to you honestly.

To be fair, your complaints are not new. That stuff has been going on CC for a while now.

However, you make a good point in your previous post. I disagree with you, don't get me wrong. There is a lot of baal symbolism in Catholicism nowadays, and I think the whole Mary thing is wrong. However, as Christians we all believe in Christ, I just think we have disagreements on scritpures and traditions.

Yet, I will still listen to you and be open to your opinion. I'd want to be listened to and treated fairly, so I won't just assume you are wrong.

On a side note, there is one thing a Catholic on CC brought up to me that I haven't been able to disprove yet and I am starting to think he was correct - communion. Just pointing out that I am willing to listen to you :).

Your replies are being met with statements straight from your Pope, and a very mainstream TV station. You're not being called a liar about the RCC, I'm simply give source material as a reply to things you say.

I can't stand by the side of and unite with a faith, where their Pope describes Mary with qualities that belong to God alone.
The list again.

1.God rules, not Mary.
2.God carries out his designs in the world, not Mary.
3.Jesus rescues me from sins and delivers me from the evil one, not Mary.
4.Jesus has a throne of grace, not Mary.
5.Jesus has a triumphant rule, not Mary.
6.We give our whole life to God, not Mary.
7.All that we are belongs to God, not Mary.
8.We promise to devote ourselves to God, not Mary's cult.
You know you proved him correct, right? He stated how you basically just ignore what he says and just state your arguments against Catholicism. However, he never disagreed with you on this. I'd like to quote his own statement,
"This is the one practice I openly challenge. What St. Louis meant by this original thirty day consecration vs. what many of my brothers and sisters have turned it into is blasphemy. I stand with many Catholics, such as Matthew Kelly, and often argue over this practice.

I can only hope that our voice will be that of Paul scolding Peter. "

So there is no need to just treat him like hes automatically wrong because he is Catholic. Moreover, they do believe in Christ. They are Christians. As Christians we are to be united as it says in the Bible and not be divided.

I am no Catholic and I am against some of their traditions, but it doesn't mean every Catholic follows the same traditions. Moreover, not every Catholic obeys the Pope.

I think it'd be fair to be a bit more respectful to our brothers =/

May I show who do maintain a PERFECT Church?
Eph 5. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

I see Jesus present Himslef with a GLORIOUS CHURCH, no spot (sin) or wrinkle (false doctrine) or any evil thing, but no... HOLY (seperated for God in God by God) and without BLEMISH (Perfect). Nw this is the church to join is it not! Any one have the HEAD'S number or e-mail adress? Who here can throw the first stone?

If the church is not perfect, why point at other churches. I do NOT like catholic church. I do NOT like false church. I do NOT like any church that is not perfect. I like this church... the one Jesus present to HIMSELF HOLY AND PERFECT... Now where is THAT church? I think that is the ONLY church that can judge the other (all unholy and imperfect) churches.

Here is the revelation I had this morning.... I remember this man...John 5:And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. Joh 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? Joh 5:7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Joh 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. Joh 5:9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Then later Jesus finds the man in the temple.... And then Jesus said... Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Now I ask this, how bad will it be if the man would go and sin? He was in a bad place for 38 years. And now the Man that heals him tells him if you sin, then something WORSE will come unto him.
I think this....If Jesus tells the man SIN NO MORE...Then Jesus will bless the man with something that he SIN NO MORE. That is how Jesus operates. Jesus CALLED the man to SIN NO MORE, Jesus who call, will also DO! When He command something IT IS DONE, and HE MAKES sure it is done. He is FAITHFUL, if he commands HE DOES!....

Like this? 1 Thes 5:23 and 24...And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
Now this is a Lord to love! And to love Him we have to KEEP HIS WORD!
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

How does God do this? How can the FATHER and the SON come make abode with one who keep His words?

Indeed no body perfect.

Seem to me, it is not talking about perfection. The question is, how devil worshiper go to heaven?

Mary replace Jesus.

I promise to depend to Mary in all thing.

Depend on real Mary? or Lucifer pretend to be Mary?

You may have your opinion based on speculation but the law taught that Bathsheba could have screamed for help. The bible didn't record that. Neither did the bible record David had ever rape.
Abraham committing adultery - I'm surprised you said that. According to your interpretation of the law, it didn't come until 430 years later. Where there's no law, there's no sin.
Unless of course, the law against adultery existed before Mount Sinai.
But still He didn't commit adultery. It was not against the law to have more than a wife.
Unless of course, one points back to Genesis 2:24 while ignoring what the scripture teaches in other books, chapters and verses.
But then it complicates further the matter of how from Adam and Eve came the whole human race.

In other words, are you accusing the Giver the author of sin too?

2 Sam 12:7-8 Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more.

is adultry sin or is it not?

how can we sit here and claim we follow the law like you guys do. Then excuse sin as not sin. I guess this is how you excuse your own sin, and think you are righteous?

wow,

so lets excuse sin. No wonder so many legalistic churches I have seen are the way they are. It is not sin as long as I commit it the way i did. But you, if you do it, it is sin.

rom 1 says the law was written on our hearts. so no man has an excuse.

as for bathseba. do you think if she screamed anyone would come? and do you think she would dare scream? This is the king. no one goes against the king for fear of death..

lets excuse everyones sin why don't we..

wow. just wow..

Hmmm, yet she is called his wife. Can you commit adultery with your wife?
