The times of restitution of all things will be on the last day It began when the veil was rent ...the beginning of the last days signified by the word thousand. The time of reformation the time when the Jews were no longer used to represent the coming of the Son of man as that seen in parables .

From my experiences most do not acknowledge the reformation . The fifteenth century yes. The first century which sets the pattern for the fifteenth, no .

The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Which was a parable for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them "until the time" of reformation.Heb 9:8

So in post#210 you said it "has come/ended ect." now you speak of it as if it began and is on going,,,so is post 210 incorrect after reflecting on it?

And where in my statement is a personal inslut upon anyone who believes differently to me?
Your comments are not but as you pointed out, the topic kind of got derailed.

I apologise for my part in it.

I will try and refocus on what Anillennialism actually teaches and not what others would prefer to discuss.

The comment about the Jews would be that MOST Anillennialist don't hold to the dual covenant theory (that God has two different covenants for Jews and Gentiles to be saved).

I believe that there is ONE ROOT Jesus Christ and both Jews and gentiles are grafted into the New Covenant,

However that is another topic.

Amillennial reading of Revelation is centered around the belief that the story or message is being retold six or seven times (depending on if you count the letters to the churches)

That message is to persevere and endure suffering because God will win in the end. The faithful will be rewarded and the unjust unbelivers will be punished.

I have to focus on life for a bit. Will post again when God allows.

Hi thanks for the reply...

I would think that we are receiving the end of our new faith, the salvation of our souls. The same faith the Old Testament saints died with not one receiving the promise of a new incorruptible body .

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Heb 11:39

That will be performed on the last day in the twinkling of a eye.

They on the other side of the refomation were the first fruits of the first resurrection. The veil was rent the arose and entered the New Jerusalem .the bride of Christy

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and theglory that should follow. 1Pe 1:10

Glory...There graves were opened.

As we are informed in Christ is our confidence that we have in these bodies of earthen death as that not of us .If he begun the good work he will finish it.

Phi 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

I think it is reflected again in Galatians 3. If we born again with the hearing of His faith he will finish it, not us after our flesh. WE are informed that would be foolish.

O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the "hearing of faith"?Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?Gal 3:1-5

Matthew 27
50And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit.

51And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split. 52The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, 53and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

****

The above is the resurrection of the firsrfruit and they appear again in Revelation.

Revelation 6
9When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothersc should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

Is this passage occuring in Heaven or on Earth?

Where do you believe God's throne is?

*****

Revelation 7
9After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

13Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” 14I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15“Therefore they are before the throne of God,
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.
16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;
the sun shall not strike them,
nor any scorching heat.
17For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

You are mistaken. Amil actually says the mark of the beast was given to 1st century people by Nero when they worshipped at the Roman temples that allowed them to trade at the market places. They received a mark on their hand or forehead to show they had bowed down to the emporer's idols as if he were a god.
amil dates the abomination that desolates in 70 AD. amil does not see the end times cashless society requiring worship of the world's ruler. The 1290 to 1335 days of Daniel 12 mean less to the amil than the premil. the green wood/dry wood prophecy by Jesus on the way to the cross is interpreted as occurring in the first century AD. 2 Peter 3 was written after 70 AD. When the Lord didn't return 1290 to 1335 days later, ( 1 Peter 4 teaches post trib rapture or pre wrath rapture ), Simon Peter's disciple wrote 2 Peter. To see me as a heretic you will have to prove 2 Peter is inspired. 2 Peter forms the basis for preterism but 1 Peter 4 is post trib rapture. (judgment on the church followed by God's wrath upon the unbelievers).
My argument takes the land covenant off the table. I have shown the error of 2 Peter 3 or if 2 Peter 3 is inspired then I'm a heretic.

amillenialism, which I discovered to be the truth having been caught up in the mires of premillenialism, does teach that the mark of the beast is literal. It was the mark put on people having sacrificed to the emperor. Without that mark they could not join the trade guilds.

the abomination of desolation occurred when the Roman troops took their standards into the Temple.
You don't interpret the abomination that desolates as written in Daniel 12 and you don't interpret the green wood/ dry wood prophecy in Luke 23 as Jesus meant it.

If you chose to reject 2 Peter 3, then there is nothing I can say because you have already decided to reject portions of God's words that don't fit with your man-made understanding.

For the record, you are the one throwing the word heretic around....I don't believe I have ever labeled anyone that in this thread.

◄ 2 Peter 3 ►
English Standard Version

4They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,a not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodiesb will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.c

11Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! 13But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Luke 23
27And there followed him a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting for him. 28But turning to them Jesus said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29For behold, the days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren and the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ 30Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ 31For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

*******
Revelation 6
. 15Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slaved and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

If you can not use the abomination that causes desolate spoken of by Daniel to draw an end times timeline, then you are far from the truth. Daniel gives 2 timeline stencils (70 weeks and 2300 evenings and mornings) which must be used as a stencil to guide us in this Gregorian calendar so that we can discern what happens when. The book of Revelation holds the key to Daniel's timeline.

If you understand Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 all talk about the destruction of the Temple, which happened in 70 AD. It would be easier to understand Revelation and the message Jesus sent to the first century saints and what still applies to us today,

Not really, Matthew/Mark/Luke shows how it happens, not when it happens. When it comes to when it happens, Jesus refers us back to Daniel and if you understand Daniel, then you understand that 70 AD was nothing in the prophesies but a diversion from satan so that people may loose focus. those things that happened in 70 AD can and will happen again and again but they amount to nothing - the reason Jesus said, wars and rumors of wars means nothing.

The birthright is spiritual seed Christ, not seen .
That would be incorrect.

The bible says the birthright was handed down to Joseph, not to Christ.

1Ch 5:2 For Judah prevailed above his brethren,
and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:

A recap of God’s Promises to Abrahams seed, or physical descendants[ the birthright]

¦Genesis 12:1-2 | God promises Abraham that his descendants will become a great nation.
¦Genesis 17:1-6 | God promises Abraham will be a father of many nations, not just one.
¦Genesis 22:16-18|the birthright nations will possess the gates (access points) of their enemies.
¦Genesis 26:3-5 | God promises the birthright nations will multiply as the stars of heaven.
¦Genesis 27:26-29 | the birthright nations will become wealthy and rule over other nations.
¦Genesis 28:13-14 | the birthright nations will spread worldwide.
¦Genesis 35:11 | the birthright nations will become “a nation and a company of nations.”

Genesis 48, Abraham’s grandson Jacob—whom God renamed Israel—
specifically assigned his name to Ephraim and Manasseh,

saying that one of these descendants would become a “great” people,
and that the other would become a “multitude of nations” .
-

Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee,
and I will make of thee a multitude of people;

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads;
and let my name be named on them,

and the name of [my fathers] Abraham and Isaac;
and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth”
-

We read that all the promises and the covenants of God, all the sonship and
the glory, belong sole to Israel (Romans 9:4).
-

Do you know What is God's heritage?

Job 31:2 (KJV)
For what portion of God is there from above?
and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?

Psalms 127:3 (KJV)
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Psalms 33:12 (KJV)
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people
whom he hath chosen for [his own inheritance].

1 Kings 8:51 (KJV)
For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest
forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

Deuteronomy 4:20 (KJV)
But the Lord hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace,
even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

1 Kings 8:53 (KJV)
For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth,
to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant,
when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord God.

Isaiah 19:25 (KJV)
Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people,
and Assyria the work of my hands, and [Israel mine inheritance].

Psalms 68:9 (KJV)
Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou
didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

Jeremiah 51:19 (KJV)
The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things:
and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the Lord of hosts is his name.

Psalms 79:1 (KJV)
O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance;
thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

Psalms 74:2 (KJV)
Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine
inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.

-
Deuteronomy 32:9 (KJV)
For the Lord's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

Psalms 94:14 (KJV)
For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
-
Zechariah 2:12 (NKJV)
And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land,
and will again choose Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 22:16 (KJV)
And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen,
and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
-

So it shall be in that day: The great trumpet will be blown; They will come, who are
about to perish in the land of Assyria, And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt,
And shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
-

You will bring them in and plant them In the mountain of Your inheritance,
In the place, O Lord, which You have made For Your own dwelling,
The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.
-

For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man,
who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

You can't destroy a temple that has not been rebuilt.....especially since the Muslims have built a Mosque called the Dome of the rock upon the historic site...

Though some people say they got the location wrong and that they built upon the Roman barracks location.

Either way. Folks can chose to ignore that the New Covenant temple is in HEAVEN in NEW Jerusalem, mother of the first born of Christ who are lead by His Holy Spirit.

God tells us that the present earthly Jerusalem is Hagar and her children are illegimate and will not receive the birthright. Perhaps Hagar children (guess who Islam claims to descend from) have rebuilt their temple?

God warns us of these times but people would rather believe the fairy tale of a rapture than realize the call to be AWAKE AND ENDURE EVEN UNTO DEATH.

.....the Seed...the promises are NOT TO FLESHly Israel.....

Romans 9
For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7 nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” 8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. 9 For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.”[c]

10 And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac 11 (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), 12 it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.”[d] 13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”[e]

Matthew 24
34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place

Mark 13
30 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

Luke 21
31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place.

******

Did Jesus speak truth and those events described happen during the generation of those Jesus lived and walked among?

Or do you claim that it is yet to be fulfilled, thus calling Jesus a liar?
