Matthew 5:44

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

I do not see ignore in that verse!

They were NOT struck down for holding back part of the price of their land! Peter told them it was theirs to dop with as they would. They were struck down for seeking recognition for something they had not done.

Matt 6:2-6
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
KJV
tells us that we should not seek recognition at all. To seek recognition under false pretenses posed a real danger to the early church. A statement had to be made that God, while indeed gracious, is not someone to be mocked or trifled with.

Now that the church is established; it is no longer necessary to deal with such things as immediately.

Your preprogrammed thinking is preventing you from understanding what I am saying and instead you are responding with pre packaged answers not even addressing my point but rather assuming I think a certain way when I don't.

Well crossnote, I'm not as you say "preprogrammed" Not sure where you get that idea?? And your accusation of "prepackaged" is a poor assumption as well. I tried to answer your questions and if it was not to your satisfaction then what's with the insults? If I misunderstood your ideas, why not just let me know APART from the attempts at insulting me? I expect more from a Christian brother who knows the Bible. The only thing preventing me from "understanding" what you are saying is your lack of explaining. Insults just stop the process.

After carefully rereading your post I'm sorry Lynn for the mixup.
I was working off the fact that you responded to my post but did not address it and that you curiously inserted this in your response (post #22)..
"Your still looking at this as you do., you get."
Otherwise, I pretty much agreed with all you said but I don't know why you said it except maybe to add your understanding.

So what I see is that we can lie against the Holy Spirit, but because we are saved, God will strike us dead, so we die to this sin according to His will, even though it's not our will, and then we will live forever with Him in eternity because God killed the lying spirit that lied against the Holy Spirit.

YIKES That sounds more like one of those Greek gods who plays around with man for the fun of it. Sad to say many people actually think God is like that. Up in the clouds playing with men like chess pieces with occasional lightning bolts zapped down for good measure should He be displeased. Is He displeased? He zaps people with sickness AND DEATH to show if they do good they will get good, striking fear into all who dare to offend Him.....If they do bad, they will get bad.... sounds just like Greek gods or Islam or any other man made religion that bases relationship on dos and don'ts. Totally lacking anything resembling Biblical GRACE.
