Yes, this is exactly what Job wanted, a release from suffering.
There is none to be found in the Lake of Fire.
As usual you miss the point. It has been said in this forum that Hell and Sheol are synonymous in that they are places of conscious suffering.

Job was suffering on Earth and yet he wanted to go to Sheol.

IF you were to be consistent you would be saying Job would suffer even more so in Sheol/HELL.

And furthermore there are people like you see Hell and the Lake of Fire as synonymous and therefore IF you were being consistent you would be of the view that Job wanted to suffer even more and for eternity!

Your 'reasoning' and your 'logic' is somewhat irrational.

It's your choice now, my friend. The ball is in your court. You have been told the truth. God has revealed the end of all who will not heed His call and warning.

Mark 9:
42And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

Matthew 25:46
“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”
I have never engaged in the insane activity of banging my head against a brick wall but trying to get through to you is the equivalent and so I will leave you to your irrational beliefs and hope that one day you may just decide to put on a THINKING hat.

Your 'reasoning' and your 'logic' is somewhat irrational.
There is nothing "somewhat irrational" about the Word of God.
Matthew 25:46
“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

Job was suffering on Earth and
...and I fully comprehend that Job did not have the NT available to acquire deeper discernment of eternal matters.

Job certainly did have deeper understanding than some here at CC.
Job 19:26
“And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:”

Job knew that judgement comes after death, not before.
