It's the same thinking I am saying, that God did not have sex.
Nobody but you (here and now, in this convo) put forward the idea
that God had to have sex with Mary in order for Mary to conceive.

People promote ideas like you have as if anyone but you suggested it.

It is a common tactic meant to slur the ones you disagree with.

Very underhanded. Dishonest, even.

I DID because we are on a thread about many things having or not having SEX, so, I asked because I was thinking that was what you guys were hinting at.

I don't know what you mean by this.
Every time Abraham met a physical body, or the Prophets, or Joshua, Moses and the backside, Jacob wrestled with GOD, the 4th man in the Furnace, Melchizedek.....those are Jesus before He was Jesus but as the WORD interacting with His Creation.

1 In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being

But I do Apologize, since I was Wrong!
And I am tickled pink now that you cleared up what you think.
I definitely Agree with it.

Are you saying that (someday while you are still on this earth) if some woman just happened to find "mutual attraction" to you and agrees to marry you but then as your wife she runs off and commits adultery you don't think that you/the marriage would be affected by that?
for some people yes for others no.

The following are not questions. You introduced the idea and then dishonestly
proceeded to act as if we had said any such thing when we had not.

It was CONCEIVED before it was ever inside her. It is God! He cannot be intimate with his Creation! That would be unholy!
This is a Mission by God. Not a sex hook up!
Sex between God and His creation seems normal to you
Your lack of honesty is... just that.

I took your Scripture of, what I presumed, Conceived to mean. That is how it began. So, I am assuming I misread you then.

not talking about "some people" here John, we're talking about YOU.
If you (here and now) had a wife, and she committed adultery YOU would be okay with that?

Alright John... thanks for that.

So what if I (we?) agree that the definition given by you, that others tried to enforce as Biblical dating requirements were totally untenable? Craziness to try to force people into a bogus notion... so what then?
Do you have any lines that dating folks shouldn't cross? I ask because you seem to be saying that while all of that is asking too much, sex is important... is that right?

So, touching, holding hands, hugs, kissing and feel free to date one-on-one... all these are okay for dating. I say why not?
But do you think that pre-marital sex is okay too? I don't, BTW.
Is premarital sex ok? Not the best but many people do it. Having premarital sex may or may not affect your marriage.

Here is a case of premarital sex. "Suppose a man has intercourse with a young woman who is a virgin but is not engaged to be married. If they are discovered, he must pay her father fifty pieces of silver.c Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he may never divorce her as long as he lives. " Deut 22:28 Just tell the couple to get married.

Biologically, TRUE, but not what the Bible is Saying here!
Scripture most definitely and for certain does not say what you claim. Mary conceived.
That means her ovum was germinated when the Holy Spirit of God overshadowed her.

I took your Scripture of, what I presumed, Conceived to mean. That is how it began. So, I am assuming I misread you then.
I quoted Scripture and you ran out into left field with it as if I'd said something else? Not a good excuse.

You seem to have reading comprehension problems...
Anakim (Hebrew: עֲנָקִים ʿĂnāqīm) are mentioned in the Bible as a possible race of giant humanoids descended from Anak. According to the Old Testament, the Anakim lived in the southern part of the land of Canaan, near Hebron (Gen. 23:2; Josh. 15:13). It had nothing to do with the Hebrews having sex with the Canaanites.

So the basic summary of your entire thread is that if you can't have sex with a human here on Earth, then you are at least hoping God will allow you to have sex in heaven.

And if you can't have sex with another human in heaven, you are so set on having sex in some way that you are then hoping God will allow you to have sex with an angel in heaven?

I am honestly trying to decipher all of this.
I am saying we will have different bodies in heaven. No one will get sick from a disease. No STD's

It's not about me. If you're asking me if I would, I don't know.
