Why do you need man to break it down for you. The Holy Spirit can give you understanding. I believe that the Holy Spirit was behind the KJV. I just don't know about modern marketing and exploiting on the the most sold book in the world. Look to obtain a copy right, which is what most are after, you must change the meaning of the text and not just the wording. It would be like I changed the tale of two cities into modern sup man. you get it. It's mostly about sales and money and not the true meaning of the text.

Sooooo, The holy Spirit wrote the first one with the Apocrypha in it, then MAN decided to take them out and declare this chunk of leather and paper, "HOLY".

If the Spirit is inerrant, why did MAN decide to edit His work? :)

I don't want an answer so it's not necessary. I'm making a point, but with a playful jab. I don't care what you read, and I certainly have no issue with you liking the KJV.

You have to ask yourself, what was the motive behind this version? To make it more understandable or to make a profit? I understand the KJV just fine.
NET BIBLE.

Go read about why they made it. Read the story of what they went through to get it done.

Write the Bible societies and ask them how much the translators get paid? THEN ask them where the money they make goes to.

You know why I love KJV, because so many people are against it. If the world is for you, then somethings wrong, because we are not of this world nor partakers in it. Long live the KJV.
WRONG WRONG and thrice I say WRONG.

You sound just like the King James Only Cult Members, are you one?

They make out that people who do not agree with them are King James Bible Haters and love Satan's other versions, which includes everything before and after 1611 King James Bible

That is wrong totally wrong. I do not hate the King James Bible, I love the King James Bible, I think I speak on everyones behalf when I say this.

What I hate is the Cult and the ridiculous claims of the cult, that King James is Gods perfect final authority Bible, when clearly it is not, we have proven time and time again the lies of this cult and its ridiculous claims and points of view, yet we just continue to have the same old same old repeated, as in cut nad pasted ,Over and over and over and over and over and over again, as if somehow repeating something enough times will make it right

This is the signs and actions of a cult, of which chosenbyhim is a member. It is a dangerous cult and a nasty cult, best people have nothing to do with it.

the modern day textual critics and Bible agnostics have set themselves up as judges over the word of God.

we know and understand that truth divides and separates. And so we can discern the satanic movement to unite everyone at the expense of the truth and to get everyone to overlook their differences.

So you've set yourself up as a judge over the word of God and then point the finger at others?

The modern versions here are seeking to put God's word and His name on the same level.

The KJV translators wanted the the "very vulgar" to understand scripture:

THE TRANSLATORS TO THE READER.

"... we desire that the Scripture may speak like itself, as in the language of Canaan, that it may be understood even of the very vulgar."

Also, in Bible Numerics, the Scripture further verifies the fact that God elevates His word above His name.
The word
"Word" (capitalized) appears 7 times in the Authorized Version. Now check this out. The word "JESUS" (all Capital letters) appears exactly 6 times in the Authorized Version. That is just amazing! Even the Bible numerical codes and patterns bear witness to the truth in Psalm 138:2.
Also, consider the following:
In the Authorized Version:
word (both lower case and capital) appears 697 times in the Authorized King James Version.
words appears 546 times.
word's appears 2 times.
All forms of this very word total up to 1,245 times.
Jesus (both lower case and capital) appears 973 times
Jesus' appears 10 times.
Totaling up to 983 times!
It is Absolutely incredible. The Numerical codes and patterns bear witness to the testimony of Scripture. They are in complete agreement.
Practicing divination to "prove" the KJV vs. other Bibles makes you a witch, not a Christian.

Deut 18:10
There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

Praus, Bible Numerics is not divination.

I suggest that you look into and study the matter of Bible Numerics. That way you can get some understanding on it.

Instead of ignorantly calling it divination. When it is clearly not that at all.

13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. - Proverbs 18:13 (King James Bible)

You've already posted "Bible numerics" that states that Jesus Christ our Savior is really the "the son of perdition, the anti christ [sic]".

In Bible numerics seven is the number of completeness, purity, and spiritual perfection. On the other hand six is the number of man which is earthly not heavenly. Every one has heard of 666. It has a bad connotation and is not highly esteemed in Bible numerics.

The seven-letter Saviour is the only begotten Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The six-letter Savior is the son of perdition, the anti christ.

13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. - Proverbs 18:13 (King James Bible)
I heard the matter, you want me to read Peter Ruckman who is crazy, racist, believes in UFOs, and has multiple divorces. That's not the kind of teacher that Christians seek out. It has nothing to do with my ignorance, it's just more evidence of witchcraft.

Matt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

And you also may want to check out the book Peter Ruckman did on Bible Numerics:

Peter Ruckman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"On another occasion, Ruckman labeled a rival KJV-Only supporter, a "puffed up conceited ***."

And he's crazy.

Peter Ruckman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Ruckman believes a fetus does not become a living soul until it is born and takes its first breath. He believes in Unidentified Flying Objects and aliens, specifically blue aliens with blue blood, black aliens with green blood, and gray aliens with clear blood. Ruckman believes the Central Intelligence Agency has implanted brain transmitters in children, old people, and African-Americans and that the agency operates underground alien breeding facilities."

And he's racist as well.

"In 1984, Ruckman wrote, "Negroeshave to be carried. Where they are left to themselves they resort to mugging, rape, slavery, dope traffic, and eventuallycannibalism. In 1994, he wrote that "no matter how much integration is carried out, the IQ of blacks is always lower than whites."

And he's crazy, did I mention that?

In 1997, Ruckman claimed that Attorney General Janet Reno had drawn up a list with his name on it and predicted that the "Government Mafia" would make a hit on him during "the next two or three years."

VULGAR in this sense means base speak. What the commoner on the street would speak, not the high brow, snippery of the Royals.

Same as CURSE has nothing to do with saying a silly WORD in the Bible.

So why are so many PPL against the King James. With colleges producing more graduates than ever before. Whats the beef, you don't see them changing Shakespeare, so they can better understand. reckon why?

The Bible is more of a map than it is an actual vessel of God's living word.

As to avoid confusion, think of the sun and how light works. The same light given by the same entity, though dependent of the thing receiving it, is how the light is reflected to others. In this case, the light is God's word and the Bible is the mass which the light is reflected from. Of course the purity arises from if it's focused, or if it's being refracted through something like a prism. Of course there are prisms which a person his or herself can construct, but that's more of a thing which can only be experienced after having seen the light of truth.

As per a Biblical reference, what can be said about the KJV can be said about any form of religious doctrine. It's how we follow Christ which counts.

In Isaiah: "The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.", pretty much what's already been said haha

I Refer you to my previous reply that we are not against the King James Bible, only against the King James Only Cult. That my friend is a huge difference.

not against it - I have a few, I like the version - but I don't hold on like people who cannot even understand it, or have the reading ability to,

If your really a good student of the word, hermeneutics, exegetical study etc you more than likely will check several versions, and even the original language scripture is written in.

Any good thing can become an Idol The Pharisees' were accused of turning the Bible into an idol

Shakespear is written in that language and is poetic to that language - the KJV is a translation of 3 different languages into one language which loses part of the poetry - and other Hebrew nuances: words have to be added to scripture to make sense of the text to english

lol this topic - i just want to say sometimes in the flesh that they are ignorant, because that is what it really is, choosing one thing "bible version" but then ignoring their own sin that to them isn't as bad as not reading a KJV,

Nobody has suggested changing Jim's work. Where did that come from?

Since Shakespeare ACTING and ACTS and MOVIES have grown and got better. Why would you insist we ignore all we've learned since Jim's posse did their work?

And your kidding yourself if you think the KJV is perfect.

We do have all kinds of origional language manuscripts. If you do not believe it. You don;t know much.
Hi eternally grateful. I know there are "original language" manuscripts. There are thousands of them, most are just a few verses; some have whole books and none of them is a complete Bible. They all vary from each other not in just a few ways, or even a hundred different readings or omissions but in literally THOUSANDS of different readings and variant readings. So can you SHOW us what you think is the complete and infallible words of God in any language? Or are you going to point to an alleged dump truck full of thousands of partial and conflicting "original language manuscripts" that you yourself can't read and have never seen, and say "That's my infallible bible." ?

Hi Agricola. So in your way of thinking we King James Bible believers who actually believe in a real and tangible Bible you can hold in your hands, read and believe every word is the infallible words of God are a "cult" and you guys who do NOT believe that any tangible and in print Bible in ANY language IS now the complete and infallible words of God are....Orthodox? Is that how it works? Can you actually identify for us what you honestly believe IS the complete and infallible Bible? Yes or No? Or is all you have to offer us is your studied opinion that anyone who can hold a real Bible in their hands and say it is the infallible words of God are members of a cult?

You should be a scientologist then. You would have even more people against you.

Instead of log live the KJV, maybe you could try "Long live Jesus" or something more glorifying and less steaming of idolatry.

what I can show you is this.

the KJV is flawed in many areas.

The KJV is a word for word translation of some of those greek texts, which even you admit is flawed/ The greek language is far deeper than the english langage.

for example. the greek word shows 4 words for love, all having different meanings. yet in all cases, the kjv translates of of them love, which could very easy lead one to mistranslate what is being said.

the greek language also has many more tenses and language rules not found in the english. thus any word for word translation, no matter what greek text it was written from will have complete ideas of the reader missing, because instead of interpreting it using complete rules. they just interpret the word, leaving the language rules out.

example. Jesus wept. Two words taken as a word for word translation. yet how did he weep? Did he just shed a tear? mutter a little? Or cry out like many jews did when they found out someone died showing alot of emotion?

We can not tell from the flawed KJV, But in the greek we can/. because the literal translation should be something like he burst into tears and wept bitterly (with alot of emotion) which would be a far more accurate and full translation. which not only is not found in the KJV, but in any word for word translation. Thus they are all literally flawed in this area.

These are just two basic proofs of the falability of ANY word for word translation. There are many more. which actually change the whole meaning of what was origionally intended to say. Thats why we MUST use origional langiuage helps side by side with any english text if we want the full meaning of what is being said. because the english language bibles are lacking the beauty and intrinsity of the greek text.

if you want to condemn all others for not believing the KJV infallible. You do not understand greek or how things work. All bibles can lead people to Christ, there are some good ones, and some poor ones. But God can use them all. Your holding God back. and taking one book and making an idol out of it. You are thus breaking the commandmnet of not having any idols. You should be ashamed.
