The Cross of Christ is as necessary for sanctification as it is for salvation (1 Cor. 1:18).

John 6:53 - "Except you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His Blood (i.e., the Cross, i.e., The Finished Work), you have no life in you," (presents the demand that caused "many of His Disciples to go back, and walk no more with Him" (John 6:66). It does the same presently! This Verse tells us the degree of believing that is required; it refers to the Cross being the total Object of one's belief; failing that, there is no Life in you.)

John 6:66 - From that time many of His Disciples went back, and walk no more with Him.

Sanctifying peace allows the Holy Spirit to deliver the Believer into the death of Christ so Christ life is manifested through the Believer (2 Cor. 4:11, Gal. 2:20-21, Romans 8:2,13, John 14:21). I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me (Who Jesus Is), and gave himself for me (What Jesus Has Done on the Cross for us where the victory was won). Gal. 2:20

If The Believer doesn't enter into the LORD's rest, they die in the wilderness...only a few enter into His rest!

The Truth is, everything hinges on Calvary, one's Salvation, one's constant Victory in Christ, Divine Healing, Answered Prayer, the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, etc. In other words, the effect of Calvary does not stop with Salvation, but continues just as important in one's everyday walk before God (Rom. Chpt. 6).

Satan attacks this Message as he attacks no other!

Many believe that the Finished Work at Calvary's Cross does not mean the same thing as the Blood of Jesus or the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won. They believe when you say, "Christ Crucified or the Cross," you are talking about the wooden beam. When we say place your Faith and maintain it exclusively in Christ and the Cross, we are saying place your Faith and maintained it in "Who Jesus is (Christ - The Son of God), and what Jesus has done (at the Cross of Calvary, where the victory was won, i.e., The Blood of Jesus, i.e., The Finished Work). However it has become a stumblingblock and foolishness for most.

Galatians 2:20 says, ": and the life which I now live in the Flesh I live by the Faith of the Son of God (WHO JESUS IS), Who loved me, and gave Himself for me (The Finished Work at Calvary Cross, i.e., The Cross of Calvary where the victory was won, i.e., The Blood of Jesus.)."

If this is not understood "Grace" is frustrated. Jesus Christ has become of no benefit to you.

Our salvation never depended on our "understanding" but on our faith.[/SIZE]

True there is a difference in teaching rebuking and correcting, I have no issue with teaching correcting and rebuking but it is the manner in which it is done that I care about. When told you that I didn't know if you knew it but the way you were using scripture seemed like an attack or to put down, you did not refute me but instead spoke of how the word of God is supposed to be used to pierce hearts.
from one point I can understand where you are coming from but on the other hand the way your posts seemed appeared more like a direct attack not breaking through hearts with scripture and that is what concerned me.

Sadly I have seen far to many souls destroyed with scripture rather than healed or taught, the aggressive style hardly ever seems to do any good and with how many new believers who frequent this place it is a dangerous route. I am of course not saying you should be sao gentle that you tickle their ears but I am only suggesting that in your correction you back off a bit on the way you do it, people are far more likely to listen to you in a calm less aggressive manner and I do apologize if I was incorrect in how your way appeared but I just have had to see so many new believers chased off and destroyed with scripture being used as a weapon
Blain,

Thanks for offering your perspective on my posts. Your time sharing your words here were not in vain; I’m taking this to heart.

The idea that good works cant exist without faith is a correct statement. For good works are only good because they stem from the Spirit of God within you. The same Spirit that reveals the truth in the Gospel. You must first have faith in the truth for your faith to produce good works. It's the truth will make you free to keep the commandments of Christ in joyous love. For the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace...etc.
Good works are a biproduct of true saving faith, not the sustaining power of your faith. If you have one the other will be manifest without a doubt.
Good works are not acts of kindness completed as if conquering a feat, but come naturally through your belief in the truth.
They shine through the love you have for God because you know the truth, and the truth has made you free to enjoy the fruits of the spirit and produce good works as a constant that can be burdened by the lusts of the flesh, not an outstanding feat of effort that breaks through the lusts of the flesh from planned time to time.
Let your light shine in front of men to glorify your God in heaven.
God doesn't want your fleshly mind upon the light switch controlling the light, but your heart filled with love and truth through the spirit.
Enjoy the abundant Life Christ offers you. Know the truth and the truth will you free.
I can't believe I missed this post it was very well written and spoken in great truth. This light you speak of I have seen affect people many times but none more so than this teen I lived with when I was living with my highschool teacher for a time. her son had grown up in a house where God is spoken of but never seen for a long time he and I roomed together there was no other room for me to stay in and he told me one day how he always to think I fake because no one is that is nice and he told me how his mom used to force him to church but I was the first person who he ever met that was different.

I appreciate it,I really do. Not many are willing to take these words to heart and the wisdom you show in doing so is refreshing

In John 3:36 it says "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

If you do a quick word study on the definitions of the words "believeth" in that verse you'll find that there are two different definitions, one for the first believeth and one for the second.

The first believeth is defined as "to believe, entrust".

The second believeth is defined as "to disobey".

So you insert those definitions into the verse it would read:

He that believes on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that disobeys the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Tou must on pick up your cross, deny yourself daily and live in obedience unto Jesus Christ until the end of your life you desire to be saved.
