If it is works of the Spirit it is not a works based salvation,for it does not come from the flesh,so we cannot glory,and boast of those works,and we did not do those works while in the flesh,so this is what is required of us,for if we do not do those works then we are rebellious against God.
Quench not the Spirit,work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,and if you do not continue in the goodness of God you will be cut off.
That is because we still have a choice while claiming Christ,for if we did not then we would not be tempted to sin,so after we receive the Spirit then the responsibility falls on us,and if we choose not to do those works then we are rebellious against God,and then how are we spiritual if we do not do the works of the Spirit.
For if they say they will do works as a result of being saved,then they have to explain the hypocrisy among them,that believe the prosperity Gospel,which God said if they teach that withdraw yourself from them,having food,and clothing,be content,and the love of God does not dwell in them,and they erred from the faith,and their faith is dead.
And how do they explain they cannot abstain from sin,when the Bible says if they hate sin,and do not want sin,by the Spirit they can abstain from sin,and sin does not affect their relationship with God,which if they sin wilfully,and hold unto sin,the blood of Christ cannot wash it away,and the Bible says do not depart from the living God,by the deceitfulness of sin.
1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
1Co 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1Co 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Righteousness is as righteousness does,and to not abstain from sin is to depart from the living God.
Faith alone,not saved by works,when we confess Christ for that is all we can do being in the flesh.
Faith without works is dead,and a person is justified by works,and not faith alone,after we receive the Spirit,for the responsibility falls on us to make the choice to keep doing right.
No person can say Jesus is Lord,but by the Holy Ghost,and a person that claims Jesus Christ is come in flesh is of God.
So if OSAS says we are chosen then everybody that claims that Jesus is Lord,and come in flesh,would be chosen too,even if they do not believe OSAS,because God is working in their life,and if God chooses who will be saved,and not saved,then God would not work in their life unless they were chosen.
But many are called,but few are chosen,which God does the calling,and choosing on earth,which explains how God can work in many people's lives,but they not be chosen,and not everybody that says Lord will dwell with Jesus,and means that the OSAS people have to do right or they will not make it.
