And all the info is buried in his brain in silence. I would love to ask him about the aliens on the moon...(y)
the professor i wrote my thesis with in grad school was also a nasa engineer in those days, and wrote some code ((tho not for the apollo program specifically)). he never mentioned aliens, but his orbital mechanics class was great :)

Really irks me to see someone as highly esteemed as John Pratchett toss his reputation like this. That essentially is committing suicide in terms of all of his contributions to Science and to the Hubble program itself!

here's a list of the Hubble project's actual lead engineers. see if you can find this 'John'

sorry m8. the OP is all bogus. tabloids rely on people not to actually think about what they print or much less dig into their supposed sources.

Maybe so.

Who would think that top Hubble Engineer John Pratchett would risk his entire reputation over a hoax

Researchers were especially interested in a series of photos made on Earth’s orbit. One could see seven luminous objects on them. John Pratchett, an engineer of Hubble project, said that he had seen those creatures himself.

According to him, they were live objects up to 20 meters tall, and their wing spread could be comparable to the length of a modern jetliner. It was also said that US astronauts on board NASA’s space shuttles also encountered angel-like creatures.
Because we don't believe everything we read on the internet, yes?

Scientists and Belief | Pew Research Center

www.pewforum.org/2009/11/05/scientists-and-belief/

According to the poll, just over half of scientists (51%) believe in some form of deity or higher power; specifically, 33% of scientists say they believe in God, while 18% believe in a universal spirit or higher power.

There's another poll where they confirmed belief in Yahweh. I wonder if that one was removed?
Very interesting. Also do a wikipedia search on Christian scientists. They list pages from deceased to still living. It is eye opening to see many hold grand achievements within their field. Also it is always cool to see that many Christians shaped science into its foundation today. For example the scientific method.

Amen, and why I try to protect this portion of Science because there really are more Believers than atheists in Science.

Well I believe there are more than we realize but due to the environment they probably dont mix their faith with work. If they started doing that then their only job may be working at something private funded or Intelligent Design lol.

In terms of a Believer working in any field of Science is like a Jew in Nazi Germany or a Christian during the Tribulation. You are a definite target for sure.

Watch the documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed is a 2008 American documentary-style film directed by Nathan Frankowski and starring Ben Stein. The film contends that there is a movement in academia to oppress and exclude people who believe in intelligent design.

It also portrays the scientific theory of evolution as a contributor to communism, fascism, atheism, eugenics and, in particular, Nazi atrocities in the Holocaust.

You will of course find critics but the people are true stories and the history is true if your willing to connect the strings like I have done over the years.

Reading a book right now about Communism and its creation. Evolution, materialism, and determinism is at its core.

Angels are unseen to the naked eye.

Angels are sent to minister to the saints but they do not see them.

But the wicked get to see them.

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, what God has in store for them that love Him, and the natural man does not understand the things of God, but He reveals the kingdom to the saints by the Spirit, but the wicked get to see the New Jerusalem.

When Thomas seen Jesus in the flesh, and knew He rose from the dead he said my Lord, and my God, and Jesus said Thomas believed because He has seen, but blessed is the person that has not seen but still believes, but the wicked get to see angels, and the New Jerusalem.

The Bible says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, but the wicked get to see angels, and the New Jerusalem.

Saints do not get to observe these things, but the wicked get to see angels, and the New Jerusalem.

For the wicked would see them first, and then show them, but the saints are the last to know although they belong to the kingdom.

We walk by faith, not by sight, but the wicked get to see.

It does not make sense to me.

But they seen nothing like all the other outlandish claims they make that cannot be proven.

The new age movement and science go hand in hand, which the new age movement says evolution is religion.

And the new age movement believes there is aliens that are on earth in human form helping mankind to come together for peace on earth.

And Jesus evolved to be an ascended master and avatar as well as other ascended masters.

And Lucifer is a Solar Angel that descended from the planet Venus eons ago to bring the principle of mind to the then animal-man, and will help them to evolve to be greater and spiritual.

And they interpret the Bible as the saints are going to be greater and spiritual like the Bible says, but not by a personal God, and not by Jesus being the Savior, but evolving to be greater and spiritual provided by the New Age Christ, Lucifer, who they look at as the good guy.

So they want to cause the world to believe there is angels, aliens, and that they want to help mankind, so do not be afraid but accept them.

But they are the fallen angels that have deceived the new age movement that they are there to help them, for the new age movement is of seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

I know people want to believe it, but I do not believe it.

For it is of faith which is the evidence of things not seen, but the wicked get to see.

And blessed is the person that has not seen but still believes, but the wicked get to see.

And eye has not seen, nor ear heard of the kingdom of God, but the wicked get to see.

And we walk by faith, not by sight, but the wicked get to see.

So how can these things actually be true if saints cannot even see for it is of faith.
According to scripture one class of angels can take on human form. Even for you guys who deny that God is speaking to you in the OT, it says so in Hebrews 13:1 Continue in brotherly love. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

I have encounters angels twice in my life. Once at a birth and once at a death. Even many Christians simply don't believe me. It is true that these did not have a body form, it was more like a change in the lights. Both times there were clearly two of them. We communicated but I frankly don't know how they did it. We simply knew what each was saying.

What was amazing to me was that both times I had a special request to make of them, and both times their response was that they only did exactly what God directed them to do, following specific rules, but both times they said they would go for permission to grant my request although it was against what they would do without this special permission. Both times they did what I asked.

He sits in a nursing home now with dementia unable to speak. I miss his voice.:love:
You haven't tried dosing him up with B12, coconut oil, fish oil and turmeric?

That's awesome. And I would presume since your post on the last page included trigonometry, you deal with Mathematics, specifically formulas. You are either in education or discovery, would be my guess.

I do analysis, involving pure math and applied physics.

I have degrees in both - my experience in university was that there are very vocal, loud, influential people in science who are atheistic to the point that it is a religion of its own for them, and because they have some prominence and are often very forward about it, it has a dual effect of making people who believe at least in a God to be quieter and also to drown out what voices they do raise so that it looks like science is almost completely dominated by atheism, more than it really is.

I had a biophysics teacher - on a completely secular school - for example who taught us in proofs about the absurdity of atheistic evolution and the impossibility of life arising by chance. He taught us these things from the facts mankind knows about molecular physics, and biology, and he told us it was for things like these that he actually became a believer, that he had been an atheist before knowledge of the details of creation made it obvious to him he was wrong.
These people exist - the field of microbiology has relatively few people in it who believe life is a accidental random thing. We don't hear about this, and we get told that they are few and far between if they even exist at all, but God who made the universe made it so that it testifies of Him, declaring His power, and making it so that His invisible qualities are evident by what is seen. So people who study very closely the things that are seen and can be seen can hardly do so without being confronted by the truth about whether this is all a chaotic random mess or whether there is evidence that an intelligence appears to be intimately involved in it and the most fundamental levels.

What people do with knowledge of God when they are confronted with it doesn't have that much to do with education etc. Men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. That goes for every sort of people, sadly
