Because . . . on this Halloween and every day . . . the simple Truths about God: He is for you, not against you. He has reconciled you to Him in Christ. Receive His gift - Life - the very indwelling of Christ in you, His Holy Ghost, Who will lead you through darkness, through the unknown 💜.

I don't do halloween ...... won't even capitalize it :)

I know some Congregations do a "Trunk or Treat" at their Church, and, I suppose that's ok, but I just do not do halloween..........

evil is evil and that particular celebration is based on evil.............even the Motto: trick or treat says if you do not buy me off, I'm gonna do something mean to you............

It's been very noisy here all night long, with fireworks exploding constantly... a few times I heard something like an animal in distress, it was distressing! Finally all the ruckus has stopped... and I can sleep in peace (y) Good night :)

We do no have halloween in my country, we use this day in a silent and dignified way to remember our dead ones, people are going to cemeteries, RCC churches are having mass for the dead ones etc.

But the American style is getting in because of the globalized culture... I do not like it. Its creepy, weird, horror-like and occultic.

Here in Spain before the big world crack in the economy fireworks were used at the drop of the hat. It is quite sad because they are expensive and needless.

There are still loud fireworks from time to time and my littl one (jack russell) becomes frantic jumping into my bed with me and barking away. I have found when I pet her and "thank her" for protecting me it makes her very calm, and I can almost sense her beaming with self-esteem.

I hear bigger dogs around the neighborhood, watch dogs, howling and baarking. Dogs and cats hate loud noises, almost all who observe know this.

Fireworks are for the devil and his folks ........... at least I feel this way when it gets out of hand.

Am I turning into a cantankerous old foggy? Hmmm? Maybe it is too late to ask such a ridiculous question. God bless all who spread Christ's love and peace, amen.

Uploader is not available in my country so can’t watch the video.

I hate Halloween, it’s like Satan’s day, the equivalent of our Christmas but
for Satan. It’s a celebration of everything dark and evil. It’s carried out
in the dark, people dress up in horror, ghoulish custumes etc. The TV
is full of programmes about witches, spells, spirits. The focus is on the
occult.

As for trick or treat, I detest it, the way elderly people get afraid of strangers
knocking at doors. Gangs of kids roaming thd stress thinking they can do
what they want disturbing people, acts of vandalism are seemingly ok on
Halloween!

Why ever would Christians want to celebrate a day of darkness.

Luckily, we do not have any fireworks or children going from door to door, here. People would not know what is going on,lol.

Regarding the video, yep - "The uploader has not made this video available in your country."

Happy all US Day!

No. Not United States day. Happy All Saints Day!
That's US! We are the Saints if we are in Christ!

Aw, was not aware that the video would not come through for some folks.

The video is a song by MercyMe titled, "Ghost" and refers to the Holy Ghost. It's a beautiful song with simple video graphics and a sweet message. I'll post the lyrics below.

Perhaps if you search MercyMe Ghost in your home countries it may come up? It's the 'official lyrics video' from MercyMe.

"Ghost"

There's a ghost
There's a ghost inside of me
Not like those draped in ol' bedsheets
Saying "trick or treat"

Different
Oh this ghost is different
Not one that leaves me scared to death
But one that puts my fear to rest

Oh-oh-ohhhh, oh-ohh
Holiness keep haunting me
Oh-oh-ohhhh, oh-ohh
You're my hope, You're my peace

Ironic in a way
I'm no longer afraid
And the ghost is to blame

There's a ghost
There's a ghost inside of me
Not something from some campfire story
Where I'm terrified to sleep

Opposite
This ghost is quite the opposite
He came just like a welcomed friend
I was comforted

Oh-oh-ohhhh, oh-ohh
Holiness keep haunting me
Oh-oh-ohhhh, oh-ohh
You're my hope, You're my peace

Ironic in a way
I'm no longer afraid
And the ghost is to blame

I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid!
No longer afraid

Lead me through the darkness
Lead me through the unknown
Oh-ohh, lead me
Holy Ghost

Lead me through the darkness
Lead me through the unknown
Oh-ohh, lead me
Holy Ghost

Lead me through the darkness
Lead me through the unknown
Oh-ohh, lead me
Holy Ghost

Lead me through the darkness
Lead me through the unknown
Oh-ohh, lead me
Holy Ghost
