I have a question:

Is Jesus a christian?

Keep in mind that a christian is someone who follows Christ.

Also keep in mind that if he is not a christian, then he must still be a jew.

Now, if he is a jew, what does that make you and the rest of us?

No, Christ doesn't follow himself. Yah I guess he is a Jew. The rest of us are just forgiven.

I said Christ follower for that very reason. I know that question was going to be asked. Can you please elaborate on your last question. Its kind of vague.
So your not Christian then? Even if a Christian is one who follows Christ? and i'm sorry i see that it was. Which Catholic beliefs do you not agree with and why?
Btw i want you to know that i'm not attacking you. I'm genuinely curious.

Im a Christ follower; that's it.
I don't know much about Catholicism but the ones I know about and don't agree with them are
1. Mary is not the mother of God (this is confusing to explain because of the trinity) She's the mother of Jesus in the flesh
2. I don't believe in having to confess to a priest Because I only need to confess to Christ alone
3. I don't believe you must have your last rights to go to heaven
4. I don't believe suicide causes you to go straight to hell.
5. I don't believe works has anything to do with salvation: salvation is by GRACE only:)
6. I don't believe in praying for the dead-- dead people's soul is sealed
7. I don't like the fact that the catholic bible has added books.

Well numbers 3, 4, and 7 are easy enough to answer. #3. Catholics don't believe that last rights are a requirement to get to Heaven or anything like that. We believe that it is a sacrament and it brings graces that can assit you as you die and fight the last temptations of your life. It would make sense that it is in the closing seconds of your life on earth that Satan would tempt you most. So it certainly helps but is not absolutely necessary.
#4. We cannot say that a person who commits suicide goes straight to hell. We can only leave such cases up to the mercy of God. We don't know what went through the persons head right before they died. So we cannot say they went to hell. We do know that suicide is a serious disrespect of the gift of life that God gave us. Surely it doesn't please Him.
#7. The books of the Bible were compiled in the 4th century. Long before any Protestant denominations were around. After the Protestant revolution books were taken out of the OT (the NT is the same). These are called the deuterocanonical books. Most Protestant denominations reject these books. The Catholic Church accepts these books because they were part of the Bible from the very beginning. So you see, the "Catholic Bible" does not have added books, but the Protestant Bibles have less books.
As for the other points you mentioned, they are much more debatable topics. And this is not a debate thread I don't think. My point was just to clear up any misunderstandings you might have had regarding Catholic beliefs.
Oh and really quickly, regarding your #6, if you look at 2 Maccabees 12:40-46 it says that it is a holy and pious thought to pray for the dead.
God bless you.
